Kommunen ansvarar för att personer med psykiska funktionshinder har boende och sysselsättning. En insats som nästan alla kommuner erbjuder för att medverka till detta är boendestöd. Efter att ha arbetat som boendestödjare har jag erfarenheten att personer med psykiska funktionshinder tenderar att bli isolerade och leva ett passivt vardagsliv. Syfte med studien är att undersöka om personer med psykiska funktionshinder upplever att de har en meningsfull sysselsättning och hur insatsen boendestöd kan bidra till att skapa detta. Undersökningen bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer med fem klienter och två boendestödjare.

The results from this analysisstand as base for recommendations to achieve a repetitive and standardized printing process.The results and the observations from the tests indicate that a repetitive process is possible toachieve.

This review article presents the splicing process during messenger RNA maturation and how it is regulated by different Cis-regulatory RNA-sequence elements and splicing factors. A more detailed description of the process alternative splicing and its importance to the function of genes from the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana is also given. A single eukaryotic gene can by the process alternative splicing (AS) give rise to a number of functionally mature mRNA-molecules, which in turn encodes for structurally and/or functionally different proteins. During the course of evolution, the process alternative splicing has thus shown to be effective in increasing transcriptome and proteome diversity of most eukaryotic organisms. This suggests therefore that the dominant theory in molecular biology, a gene encodes for a protein, needs to be corrected.

The aim of this study about post-conflict economic, social and political reintegration of ex-combatants is to understand how such a process should be prepared for in order to help as many traumatized and sometimes destructive or disabled soldiers as possible to re-establish themselves as functioning civilians as well as preparing communities for their return. In order to do this I have focused on Africa and in particular the DDR-process of post war Sierra Leone. My study concludes that the relation between ex-combatants and civilians and the prospect of a positive future are crucial to a successful reintegration process..

The purpose of this thesis was to examine how the build-up of customer relations can be characterized at the end of the industrial selling process and how companies engage their cross-functional selling teams into this relationship building effort. Through a case study of Omega, a multinational company engaged in the selling of products of an industrial character, it was revealed that the build-up and maintaining of the customer relationship is of acute importance, as it presents the company with a window of opportunities. Through its relationship with the customer the company can be able to sell other products, which are related to the original purchase made by the customer. For the company?s competitors the established relationship might also serve as a barrier when attempting to enter the market or increase market share.

The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject.    I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Avsikten var även att undersöka huruvida det fanns något samband mellan redovisningen av det intellektuella kapitalet och de utvalda företagens market-to-book value, och hur detta samband i så fall såg ut.Teori: Studien byggde i stor utsträckning på Sveibys (1997) modell kring identifierandet av det intellektuella kapitalet. Vidare har Guthrie et al. (2004) samt Abeysekeras (2008) definiering av det intellektuella kapitalet till stor del använts för att operationalisera Sveibys (1997) modell.Metod: 2008 års årsredovisningar från tio svenska börsnoterade företag har insamlats, och sedan analyserats med hjälp av innehållsanalys.

In process oriented organizations, it is important to have well-functioning work processes tosupport the work being performed. In order to accomplish this, the organization has to makecertain decisions regarding the design and usage of the processes. This master thesis is based ona case study of a work process that is being used for the industrialization of products at Ericssonin Katrineholm. The aim of the study is twofold. One aim is to improve the studied process byidentifying improvement opportunities and carrying out the required adjustments.

This thesis investigates and emphasises on the way students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization into their profession as police officers and the creation of profession identity. The scientist?s main questions are: In what way do the students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization process into the police profession? What role does the organisation play in the socialization process of the police students? How do the students develop their police identity? Which qualities are encouraged? The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine police students, performed in groups of three. Group theory, role theory, and organization theory are applied to the material to provide an understanding through which it is possible to understand the process of socialization. The study shows that there seems to be patterns in the description of a professional identity.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka den syntaktiska strukturen i tre texttyper i tre översättningar av ?Boule de suif? av Guy de Maupassant. De tre översättningarna är gjorda av Sigfried Siwertz (1927), Ingvar Johansson (1972) och Johan Gunnarsson (1985). Metoden som används är utarbetad av Lars Wollin och modifierad av Yvonne Lindqvist. Genom att dela upp texterna i makrosyntagmer och därefter i primära satsdelar kan versionskomplex upprättas vilka möjliggör en jämförelse av käll- och måltextens syntaktiska struktur på operationsnivå. Uppsatsens mål är att ta reda på huruvida olika operationer är ett resultat av de olika texternas textuella strukturer samt i fall det går att skönja ett samband mellan val av operationer och översättare.

How does IT-consultants reason in their consulting process regarding the development of a clients IT-based internal recruitment system? The purpose with this paper is to investigate how an IT-consultant is reasoning in a consulting process and investigate whether consultants are using established models and methods in their work. We have chosen to work with a qualitative examination to attain our purpose. In our work gathering the empirical facts we have been working with a case study, an observation and a simulation exercise. The combination of these has made it possible to carry out the paper and produce the most correct data possible.

Throughout the years more and more charitable organisations have appeared and the competition between them has increased. This has forced the charities to use more marketing strategies in their work in order to strengthen their competitiveness. Research in philanthropy in terms of economy and marketing has been neglected in Sweden and the research that is done today is mainly focused on why individuals donate to charity. A donation, according to the writers of this thesis, has been seen as an economical activity and can therefore be explained and understood through economical models and theories. The use of balanced scorecards have spread explosively throughout the world during the last decade. This management tool have become very common in a vide spread variety of organisations on all continents. Many balanced scorecard fails though and scorecard theorists often blame the identification- and implementation process as they claim that these lay the foundation for the use of the tool. As my literature study shows, academic research on the area is rare. Particularly the effect on the implementation process from organisational dynamics and organisational structures needs further research.

I detta arbete har utformningen av ett kölskydd av metall för segelbåtar tagits fram. Kölskyddet som framtagits monteras längst ner på kölen. Syftet är att minska krafterna som verkar på båten vid en grundstötning genom att ta upp en del av rörelseenergin genom plastisk deformation.Vid utformningen av kölskyddets struktur har en metod för topologioptimering använts där målet varit att få så hög töjningsenergi (IED) i strukturen som möjligt. En heuristisk lösningsmetod där ineffektiva element tas bort ur strukturen har använts.Lämpliga material har undersökts och utvärderats utifrån mekaniska egenskaper samt motståndskraft mot korrosion i havsmiljö.Arbetet har resulterat i ett designförslag på en struktur av aluminium 5086 som enligt beräkningar kan absorbera 5 kJ energi. Detta motsvarar, för en båt som väger fyra ton, en minskning av energin som överförs till kölen på ca 10 %..
