Slutsatsen av denna studie är att en likviditetspremie på Stockholmsbörsen inte går att fastställa för tidsperioden 1995-03-01 till 2005-10-31. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida det råder en signifikant avvikelse i priset på en likvid kontra en illikvid aktie, där omsättningshastigheten är den variabel utsedd att fånga denna anomali. Undersökningen omfattar aktier vilka är noterade på Stockholmsbörsens A- och O-listor idag. Den teoretiska referensramen för denna studie har sitt ursprung från den vedertagna modell vilken utvecklades av Amihud och Mendelson (1986) där köp-sälj spreaden nyttjats för att undersöka en eventuell likviditetspremie på New York börsen. Ett ekonometriskt metodförfarande innefattandes framförallt regressionsanalys har här valts där en stor inspiration varit Fama och French´s (1992) benchmark för att statistiskt undersöka hur den justerade överavkastningen påverkas av omsättningshastigheten och de förklarande variablerna marknadsrisk, storlek samt bokfört värde dividerat med marknadsvärde.

Fiskfaunan i Ekeby våtmark inventerades med hjälp av två metoder, fångst-återfångst och nätprovfiske, som i möjligaste mån använde metodiken vid standardiserat provfiske. Med fångst-återfångst metoden fångade jag sutare, abborre och småspigg, dock var fångsten av abborre och småspigg så liten att det inte kunde göras någon uppskattning av dessa populationsstorlekar. Uppskattningen av sutarnas populationsstorlek i damm 8 erhölls efter ett antal fångst och märkningstillfällen tills det fanns tillräckligt stor andel återfångst av sutare. De mjärdar som användes kunde bara fånga fisk av ett visst storleksintervall (35-120 mm) vilket troligtvis betyder att det enbart fångades 1- och 2-åriga sutare. Min uppskattning av antalet individer i populationen sutare (Lincoln Index) blev 1316 +/- 1127.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur resultatet skiljer sig åt mellan stora och små fondbolags Sverigefonder. Skillnaden försöker vi förklara med avseende på organisationsstruktur och förvaltningsstrategier.Vi har valt ut tre svenska aktiefonder som förvaltas av tre olika storbanker i Sverige, samt tre svenska aktiefonder som förvaltas av tre mindre fondbolag. Vi har beräknat dessa fonders risk samt avkastning för att se vilka fonder som klarat sig bäst. De mått och modeller vi använt är standardavvikelse, beta, aktiv risk, CAPM, Alfa, Treynorkvoten och Sharpekvoten.Vi har försökt ta reda på hur de olika fondbolagen arbetar genom intervjuer, information från hemsidor på Internet och annat skriftligt material.Empirin består av presentationer av fondbolagen, fakta om de olika fonderna samt den information vi samlat in om förvaltningsarbete. Det sistnämnda innefattar hur många som arbetar med fonderna, hur de interagerar med varandra och hur det går till när de avgör vilka aktier som ska ingå i fonderna.Efter att ha räknat ut alla riskmått och avkastningsmått stod det klart att bankerna har presterat betydligt sämre än de mindre fondbolagen.

Modern semiconductor design methods makes it possible to design increasingly complex system-on-a-chips (SOCs). Testing such SOCs becomes highly expensive due to the rapidly increasing test data volumes with longer test times as a result. Several approaches exist to compress the test stimuli and where hardware is added for decompression. This master?s thesis presents a test data compression method based on a modified facsimile code.

Information stored on unprotected computers that gets lost or stolen, and falls intothe wrong hands, can easily be accessed by moving the hard disk to a controlledcomputer, or by booting the computer from a removable medium, in order to getaround the operating system login. The purpose of this study was to investigate pupils' and teachers' experiences of using the simulator computer game Minecraft in connection with the Swedish school competition Future City. The study examines how students (ages 14-15) and teachers have experienced the use of Minecraft, what the students have learned in relation to everyday education and the different forms of education during Future City and also examine which patterns that exists in the experiences of the students, with personal interest of and knowledge of Minecraft as a benchmark. The study was conducted through individual semi-structured interviews with both students and teachers. The analysis of the results is based upon a theoretical perspective that includes a socio-cultural view of learning, as well as the lines of reasoning in previous research about computer games and learning. As a general approach towards the study, and in a way, a justification of the chosen research method, a hermeneutic approach was used.

The thought behind this bachelor essay regarding gender and rhetorical feminist criticism developed years ago out of the fact that I read just a little too many dirty chick lit-pockets as a teen. Those chick lit-pockets were my first introduction to sex, to gender roles, to how men and women react and are supposed to react to each other and, in some sense, even to feminism. Those chick lit-pockets, later turning into hardcore Harlequin-books, became my benchmark when I started to contemplate the fact that this is a man?s world, produced and reproduced by a male gaze which influences everything from sex, porn, advertising, gender roles, jobs and payment to dirty pockets for teenage girls.The essays aims to show how the male gaze-phenomenon could be to use for the rhetoric discipline: first combined with other rhetorical theories as a way to analyze and understand gender and objectification. The main question asked; How to put the male gaze on a rhetorical leash? This bachelor essay consists of a qualitative literature study focusing on four articles and one book in which five different male gaze-perspective appears.

This research aims to investigate the effects that dredging may have on benthic fauna. The dredging took place in the stream Ireån on northern Gotland during the early summer 2010. My area of research was taking place in a scenic area downstream in Ireån close to the Baltic Sea. I chose this area due to the dredging that started just upstream of this area and continued further upstream. Thus it is not the direct impact of the dredging that is the focus for this paper but the side-effect the dredging may have on the area downstream.

Bakgrund: En ökad medveten närvaro kring måltiden och ätandet genom mindful eating har i ny forskning visat sig vara en effektiv metod för att minska en rad olika sjukdomar och hälsorelaterade problem samt bidra till gynnsamma hälsoeffekter. Trots detta finns få studier genomförda i en svensk kontext.Syfte: Undersöka och beskriva graden av mindful eating hos en grupp individer på sociala medier i förhållande till Body Mass Index och demografiska variabler.Metod: Deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie med en kvantitativ ansats. Ett tidigare utvecklat instrument, Mindful Eating Questionnaire (MEQ), översattes och distribuerades som en webbaserad enkätundersökning. Respondenterna rekryterades under en veckas tid genom ett snöbollsurval på det sociala nätverket Facebook. Inklusionskriterierna var att deltagarna skulle behärska det svenska språket, vara mellan 20-65 år och användare av Facebook.

Denna uppsats fokus ligger på den praktik inom socialt arbete där kategorier produceras, upprätthålls, modifieras och bryts. Huvudsyftet har varit att studera professionell retorik i relation till det kategoriseringsarbete som sker inom välfärdsstatliga miljöer. En diskursanalytisk metod har valts som grund i form av en kategoriseringsanalys. De teoretiska förutsättningarna har varit poststrukturalism, social konstruktionism och diskurspsykologi och mer specificerat i form av institutionell kategorisering, medan Jonathans Potters (1996) metodologiska retoriska verktyg kring faktakonstruktion tillämpats för att analysera hur respondenterna framställt sina utsagor som trovärdiga och faktamässiga.Addiction Severity Index (ASI) manualen har använts som utgångspunkt för insamlandet av empiri, men även som ett sätt att försöka fånga in professionell hjälpverksamhets generella ambition att standardisera och säkra sitt arbetssätt. Sammanlagt har tio yrkesverksamma professionella hjälpare som aktivt använts sig av ASI manualen i sitt dagliga arbete intervjuats, dessa kom även från en och samma institution.Analysresultatet visar att de professionella hjälparna beskriver två olika huvudkategorier som relevanta för deras verksamhet, nämligen sexualbrottslingen och missbrukaren.
