Bakgrund: Det finns begränsad kunskap om hur mammor upplever att drabbas av HELLP syndrom och samtidigt mista sitt väntade barn. Ytterligare kunskap kan bidra till ökad förståelse och leda till bättre vård. Syfte: Att beskriva mammors upplevelser av att drabbas av HELLP syndrom och samtidigt mista sitt väntade barn. Metod: En kvalitativ fallstudie med djupintervjuer som analyserades genom kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultat: Studien påvisade det kaos och den overklighetskänsla mammorna upplevde då insjuknandet och händelserna skedde i snabb takt.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) är en vanligt förekommande funktionell tarmsjukdom och det finns studier som visar på att 25 procent av befolkningen lider av den. IBS är en kronisk sjukdom som inte går att diagnostisera med hjälp av undersökningar utan bygger på patientens anamnes och att utesluta andra sjukdomar. Forskning visar att det inom sjukvården saknas förståelse och empati för patienter med IBS och hur sjukdomen påverkar deras livsvärld. Därför känns det väsentligt att ta reda på mer om hur patienter med IBS erfar sin vardag och vilka problem som kan uppstå på grund av sjukdomen. Syftet är att beskriva patienters erfarenheter av att leva med en funktionell tarmsjukdom som IBS.

Over the past decade there has been considerable debate in the media concerning the necessity of educating parents in how to be better parents, and strengthening their parental role. This question has also been debated at a national level, resulting in the state commissioning a number of official investigations into the problems that parental education could resolve. A growing body of scientific studies have shown that parental-educational programmes play a strong role in preventing behavioural problems amongst children and teenagers. Many Councils in Sweden already offer these parental courses to their citizens, but discussions are ongoing as to whether these courses should be obligatory for all parents before or near to the moment that they begin to have children. This conclusion has been supported by the official investigations commissioned to look into this issue.

Detta gör att den amerikanska marknaden inte har ett förtroende för dessa bolag. Denna opålitlighet från marknadens sida har resulterat i att många av de kinesiska bolagen blivit felvärderade. För de legitima bolagen leder det till att de blir undervärderade. Frågan som uppstår här är: Kan ett bolag få en mer rättvis värdering genom att noteras på en marknadsplats utanför USA exempelvis i Sverige?Syfte: Denna studie har till syfte att undersöka hur en övergång för ett kinesiskt bolag från en OTC-lista i USA till en senior lista på den reglerade börsmarknaden i Sverige påverkar värderingen av bolaget.Genomförande: Studien är utformad till en kvantitativ undersökning.

While studying at the landscape architect program in Uppsala I found stress to play a major roll in the education. To help myself and others to handle the negative stress within the profession and the education I choose to write my thesis about landscape architects' work cultures. Swedish Association of Architects is in second place in the SACO study on long-term sickness for fatigue syndrome, stress and depression. The issue needed to be addressed. My purpose with the thesis has been to study the work cultures in the landscape profession and training and to study and find ways to manage negative stress in the profession and in education.

Syftet med studien är att är att studera skillnader i mottaglighet för emotionell smitta, anknytningsstilar och personlighets drag så som temperament och karaktär är hos personer diagnosticerade med Asperger jämfört med personer som inte har någon diagnos. Ett annat syfte är att studera samband mellan emotionell smitta, anknytningsstilar samt personlighetsdrag såsom temperament och karaktär. Åttioåtta försökspersoner deltog i enkät studien varav femton personer hade en Asperger diagnos och resterande sjuttiotre inte hade någon diagnos, i enkäten fick de svara på 293 påståenden som involverade emotioner, anknytning och personliga temperaments och karaktärsdrag. Samband och skillnader mellan grupperna undersöktes sedan. Resultatet visar att det existerar skillnader mellan grupperna.

Today, there are no regulations saying that cows must have access to some kind of shelter at pasture during the summer. In more tropical countries, it is well-known that dairy cows might suffer from heat stress when exposed to sun and high temperatures. The well-being of the cows is thereby reduced and the production may also decrease. In Sweden, no research has been done in the area and therefore it is now a clear need of improved knowledge.The purpose of this study was to investigate the importance of shade for dairy cows in Sweden. The behaviour of 30 cows was examined to see any differences between cows with access to shade and cows without access to shade.

The design of buildings is today considered to be crucial for obtaining sustainable development. Research concerning sustainable building is considered to be a Swedish area of strength and development projects as Hammarby Sjöstad and Bo01 are often pointed out as Swedish prime examples of sustainable building. Some still argue though, that that these projects should not be presented as sustainable, due to its incompetence to meet their objectives. This contradiction has attracted my curiosity. By doing this study I hope to gain understanding about the difficulties Bo01 and Hammarby Sjöstad are surrounded with and its significance for sustainable development.

Introduktion: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS, är den vanligaste funktionella mag-tarmsjukdomen i västvärlden med en prevalens på cirka 15-20 % i befolkningen. IBS är generellt sett dubbelt så vanligt förekommande hos kvinnor som hos män och majoriteten som drabbas är kvinnor under 40 år. Behandling med låg FODMAP-kost är den mest effektiva kostbehandlingen vid IBS. Det finns få kvalitativa studier om IBS och behandling med låg FODMAP-kost och det behövs en ökad förståelse av hur det är att leva med IBS och behandlas med en låg FODMAP-kost.Syfte: Få förståelse om en grupp IBS-diagnostiserade kvinnors upplevelser av att leva med sjukdomen och behandlingen med låg FODMAP-kost.Metod: Studien bygger på en kvalitativ forskningsdesign med semistrukturerade intervjuer som metod för insamling av data. Fem kvinnor med IBS mellan 22-34 år deltog i enskilda intervjuer varpå intervjuerna transkriberades och utgjorde underlag för en tematisk analys.Resultat: Samtliga informanter upplevde att deras välbefinnande ökat markant efter påbörjad behandling med låg FODMAP-kost.

ABSTRACT. Introduction: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a retrovirus which occurs worldwide and spreads between humans mainly through sex, from mother to child, blood and blood products and between injecting drug users. After been infected with HIV for a couple of years the final stage of the infection progress into Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and there is no cure or vaccine, only medication that delays the development of the disease. Objective: The aim of this thesis is to examine the preventive work against HIV in Sweden, the groups at risk for getting infected and to highlight sexual attitudes and behaviours among adolescents and young adults. Method: A literature based study method was used and the material is based on scientific articles and reports from active actors within the field of HIV prevention.

Bakground: Puerperal fever caused by group A Streptococcus is in a global context seen as a common cause of death in childbirth.Aim: To examine the consequences of group A streptococcus infections in women postpartum and to see what a nurse can do to stop the infection with adequate nursing interventions.Method: This is a review built on 15 articles. These articles were read in full and audited with a suitable template.Result: Women postpartum has 20 times higher risk to get group A stretococcus infection as compared to non pregnant. The consequences of Group A Streptococcus infection can lead to high fever, abscesses around the uterus, sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), hysterectomy and death. Patients who share room with infected patients carries an increased risk to be infected. Curtains between patient beds can be colonized by Group A Streptococcus.

Feedback tools support electricity users within the Swedish residential sector to increase their knowledge of electricity and the electricity market as well as to become more aware of their electricity consumption, which in turn encourages a reduction and an increased flexibility of electricity use. The primary aim of this study is to identify and analyse how existing feedback tools can be improved, to ensure that they contribute efficiently to the achievement of the EU objectives congruent with a more sustainable energy system in 2030, emphasizing: greenhouse gas reduction, increased energy efficiency and an increased share of renewable energy. In order to reach the primary aim of this study, existing feedback tools have been identified and mapped and interviews with feedback tools providers have been conducted. The study is limited to three research areas: the practical functions of feedback tools, available technology and the use of feedback tools.The use of more efficient feedback tools will provide an increased success rate for energy management, which includes both behavioural changes and energy efficiency. According to the results from the interviews conducted for this study, an increased use and user frequency is important to utilise the energy management potential.

Today, individual indoor stalls and individual outdoor paddocks are the most common way to house horses in Sweden. The way that we manage, house and feed the horses are not optimal for the species natural basic behavioural needs. However, the awareness of this grows in the context of research and the emergence of alternative housing systems. One of the alternatives to the traditional format in individual boxes is called group housing. Group housing systems allow horses to live in herds and they can choose how they want to distribute the hours of the day between movement, resting and foraging. The purpose of this study is to examine how frequently the young horses in a group housing system use the indoor lying area.

Att börja på högstadiet och byta både skola och de flesta av sina klasskamrater kan vara positivt såväl som negativt. Det kan vara en chans att hitta nya intressen, eller jobbigt med mycket nya intryck och högre krav. Om man dessutom har särskilda behov, till följd av ett funktionshinder, kan den omställningen bli väldigt krävande om inte skolan klarar av att tillgodose ens behov. När en elev är inkluderad i skolan så innebär det att eleven skall involveras helt och hållet i sammanhanget på samma villkor som sina klasskamrater (Fors 2004). Den här uppsatsen bygger på en fallstudie gjord med kvalitativa intervjuer som handlar om en 13-årig pojke som har funktionshindret Downs syndrom och är inkluderad i årskurs 7.

ABSTRACTThe principal aim of the study was to compare the feeding behaviour of cattle, sheep and goats on pasture and explain any differences between speices. Furthermore, I compared foraging behaviour between dry season and the beginning of the rainy season, in order to see any relationships between weather and behaviour.The study was carried out in Shompole in southern Kenya. Behavioural data were collected by observing herds of cattle, sheep and goats on pasture. The livestock were herded on pasture during the days and kept in bomas, where people live, during the nights. The weather in Shompole is characterized by high ambient temperature and low, bimodal rainfall.
