Abstract Aim: Since there is a lack of research based educational interventions concerning the relationship between coaches and young athletes, the aim of this study was to implement and examine the effects of sport psychology intervention for coaches in a track and field club. The research questions were: What are the effects of an educational intervention for coaches, with focus on a motivational climate, on: A) the coaches´ coaching approach B) their athletes´ goal orientation and C) their athletes´ perceived competitive anxiety?Method: The coach education stretched over two months and consisted of four two-hour lessons with focus on motivational climate, goal orientation and sport anxiety. Six coaches (three females, three males), aged 38-52 (M=44.33 years, SD=4.84) and their 59 athletes (27 males and 32 females) aged 12-14 (M=13.10 years, SD=0.82), participated in the study. A control group of 35 athletes (10 males and 25 females), of the same age (M=13.46 years, SD=0.70) and with similar demographic data, was also recruited.

En demenssjukdom är en hjärnskada som påverkar hjärnans olika funktioner främst kognitiva, beroende på vilken del av hjärnan som är drabbad. Demenssjukdomar påverkar aktivitetsutförandet och därmed även hälsa och välbefinnande. Risken för att få en demensdiagnos ökar med stigande ålder. Befolkningen ökar och blir allt äldre. Detta leder till att trycket på vårdapparaten ökar eftersom allt fler behöver vård.

Syftet med denna studie var att samla in information som kunde ge en bild av den organisatoriska situationen i Försvarsmaktens helikopterorganisation i ljuset av de förändringar organisationen genomgått sedan 1998 och de allvarliga haverier som följt efter dessa förändringar. Ett tillämpat syfte var att denna bild skulle ligga till grund för en förståelse och diskussion av flygsäkerhetsläget inom helikopterorganisationen i synnerhet och inom Försvarsmaktens flygverksamhet i allmänhet. Som ett led i processen var syftet att undersöka säkerhetskulturen, organisationsklimatet och den psykosociala arbetsmiljön genom att jämföra ett helikopterförband och ett stridsflygplansförband inom Försvarsmakten. I studien ingick sådan personal som kom i personlig kontakt med den direkta flygsäkerheten vid respektive förband, såsom flygförare, tekniker, spanare/navigatörer och operatörer/ytbärgare. En enkät delades ut till 125 personer vid de två förbanden.

Teachers and special education teachers play a vital role in the creation of a study environment that fosters productivity in students. The current study aims to further expand the knowledge regarding teacher?s perception of common work with developing an optimal study environment within the classroom and the educational institution. In order to achieve this, qualitative interviews have been performed and study results analyzed according Nilholm´s model of the three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective.The study results show that the concept of order and study environment is not clearly defined among the interviewees. However, the concept appears to presuppose the teacher?s responsibility to create the sense of security and effective study environment to those students who express the wish to educate themselves (Children make the things right only if they have been shown the correct way to do it).

Hypotesen var att det finns ett miljömedvetande hos människan, men att det är en skillnad mellan attityd och beteendeintention. Även emotioner inför miljöpåverkan hos deltagarna undersöktes, för att fördjupa studien. Undersökningen har gjorts kvantitativt via en webbaserad enkät, genom utskick via Facebook till vuxna individer i Sverige mellan 18-65 år (N=49). Svarsprocenten var 46 procent.

The purpose is also to add explanation by using Behavioral analysis Method: Quantitative research of bankruptcies using financial prediction models and qualitative study of psychological pitfalls. The study is deductive. Results: I found that it is possible to explain the bankruptcies using the prediction models.

Den 1 juli 2007 infördes en ny lag till byggbranschen som innebär att handel av byggtjänster numera ska behandlas med omvänd skattskyldighet. Därav ska inte längre säljare av byggtjänster redovisa moms på sina utgående fakturor utan säljaren ska redovisa både in- och utgående moms. Orsaken bakom laginförandet är den mängd momsfusk som uppmärksammats där säljare av byggtjänster fått inbetalt moms för sina tjänster men inte redovisat den vidare till Skatteverket utan behållt den i egen ficka. The interest for functional strength training in golf has grown the last decade and scientists are always trying to find training stategies to improve the biomechanical aspects of the swing. Kinematic sequence contains a proximal-to-distal sequence order towards impact, and an effective kinematic sequence in the down swing begins with a rotation in the pelvis and follows by an activation in thorax, arms and club in the respective order. The rotational torques in the proximal segments wanders through the body and to the more distal segments to create an effective energy ? and power transfer at impact. The x-factor stretch is the seperation between the rotation in the pelvis and the thorax at the top of the back swing and at the beginning of the down swing.

Open access to scientific literature on Internet is a concept which is supposed to change librarians' work. The aim of the thesis was to examine librarians' perception of Open access. A questionnaire survey was conducted among librarians at libraries with specialisation in technique, natural sciences, medicine and pharmacy in Sweden. Even though Open access can be regarded as an alarming for librarians' work, the results of the survey showed that the future of the librarians' profession can be positive if they flexibly adopt their work routines according to changes in publication forms and library users' needs..

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to assess whether the overreaction found in ?Does the Stock Market Overreact?? by DeBondt and Thaler still persists today, and by equivalence test if a trading strategy based upon these assumptions would generate abnormal returns. MethodThe research has been carried out by studies of the stocks that for a prior period of one year has over or underperformed their benchmark. The stocks used in my study are all part of S&P500 index, and the period of study runs from three to five overlapping years over the last twenty years. ResultsMy tests indicate that the type of overreaction proposed by DeBondt & Thaler still is present, at least considering the stocks that during the formation period were winners..
