Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka om man kan förbättra avkodningen och därmed öka läshastigheten hos långsamma läsare på gymnasiet genom intervention med Rydaholmsmetoden. Syftet är också att undersöka dess användbarhet vid olika typer av läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Undersökningsmetoden är kvantitativ. Vi har genomfört en intervention i en experimentgrupp i upp till tolv veckor. Experimentgruppens utveckling har därefter jämförts med utvecklingen i en kontrollgrupp.

AbstractThe purpose for this study has been to discover and reveal what exactly it is that have made the Wallenberg family so successful in the Swedish business world for more than 150 years. We have narrowed our research by limit it to only find and concern the specific features of the Wallenberg family and not their entire corporate group. There is no research made before regarding this matter, as far as we could see, which is one of the reasons to why we find this study relevant. In order to answer our question we have chosen to use a qualitative approach in which we have interviewed three people. These three people all have deep and thorough insight in the Wallenberg family.

Background: When a child ends up in a hospital the whole family will be affected. The family?s situation can be turned upside down and the daily life can be affected. The nurse needs to have a holistic approach when caring for the child and the rest of the family. For the nurse to be able to provide personalized information and care, they need a relationship with the child and family.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of physical activity for people suffering from depression and which nursing interventions nurses can do to make this patients start to exercise. The method used, is a review of articles from Ci-nahl, Cochrane, Elin, PsycInfo, Pubmed and Science Direct, which were analyzed according to Polit och Hunglers criteria for scientific research. The result from the nine studies shows that physical activity has an antidepressive and anxiety reduc-ing effect. Interventions emerged is supporting, encouraging, activating and teach-ing about physical activity as health-promoting measure. Conclusion: Nurses can as an intervention introduce exercise as complementary treatment for people suffering from depression.

The purpose of this study was to obtain an understanding of how the employees at LFV Group Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services (Luftfartsverket) manage to combine work and family, and put this in relation to the concepts of employer of choice and socially sustainable development. Qualitative interviews were carried out with 23 randomly selected participants at the three largest places of work within the organisation. The results showed that the combination of work and family mostly could be managed but that factors like high workload and feelings of stress affected the participants in a negative way. The main measures facilitating the combination of work and family were shorter working hours and support with domestic chores. LFV can partly be considered an employer of choice when it comes to family friendly benefits but changes could be made for further improvement.

Uppsatsen behandlar Bosnien som ett fall av statsbyggande under utländsk intervention. Det är nu 10 år sedan Dayton-avtalet undertecknades, ett avtal som inte bara syftade till att få ett slut på den blodiga konflikten utan även till att bygga upp den nya staten Bosnien-Hercegovina samt dess institutioner. Under det gångna decenniet har vi dock fått bevittna ytterligare två fall inom samma kategori, interventionerna i Afghanistan och Irak. Det kan dock snabbt konstateras att ingen av dessa stater idag kan klassificeras som helt suveräna då internationella aktörers inflytande är ytterst påtagligt på olika sätt. I alla fall i Bosnien verkar den demokratiska utvecklingen ha avstannat och landet står vid ett vägskäl; att närma sig EU med allt vad det innebär av reformer samt demokratisk och ekonomisk utveckling eller bibehålla det nuvarande dödläget vilket kan dra in landet i en destruktiv spiral och återuppväcka konflikten.

Sound surrounds us in a great extent, we all have experiences of sound and this phenomena has a great meaning in our lives. High levels of sound might be harmful for your hearing and might also cause related difficulties such as tinnitus and sensitivity to sound. Studies reveal a connection between the attitudes toward high levels of sound and the risk behaviours in these situations. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences and meaning of sound and whether the attitudes toward sound will reflect in a family consisting parents and adolescents. A family consisting two parents and two adolescents participated each and one of them in an interview in this qualitative study that has been carried out of a phenomenological approach.

Tidigare forskning har visat på hög förekomst av muskelbesvär och bristande hälsa och välbefinnande hos tandvårdspersonal i offentlig sektor. Föreliggande studie syftade till att undersöka om en organisatorisk intervention i form av arbetstidsförkortning och viss fysisk aktivitet kunde främja olika aspekter av hälsa och välbefinnande hos tandvårdspersonal inom Folktandvården. Interventionen sträckte sig över ett år och totalt medverkade 154 kvinnliga tandläkare och tandsköterskor i studien. Resultaten visade på minskad total arbetsbelastning samt lägre förekomst av muskelbesvär. Dock kunde resultaten inte kopplas till interventionen då utvecklingen var likartad i såväl interventions- som kontrollgrupp.

The health care system in most western countries is undergoing rapid changes with an increasing amount of people living with chronic cancer. These people have to deal with their disease in every day life together with working and family life. The relationship between health services and every day life has changed and raises new requirements. Earlier research has shown that maintaining every day life is important for cancer patients and their families. This study comprised patients with lymphoma receiving their diagnosis during 2003 ? 2005.

The purpose of this essay is to describe and analyze experiences of how the daily rounds and a persons role is changing when you go from being a family member to being a family member as well as being a kinship carer.Essential questions at issue was:- Which feelings are associated to the roll as kinship carer?- What are the motivations for the relative/family member to become a kinship carer?- What is the change of the role like before and after the disease.Six persons have been interviewed on the subject and symbolic interactionism and role theory has been our theoretical perspective. The essay has been related to the ideas of Meads on social interaction and to Goffmans theatre theorem.The result of the essay showed that feelings and motivations as regards to the daily rounds and the role of the kinship carer were individual, where similarities and differences occurred. When ones partner, parent or child got a disease/functional disability it generated in some changes regarding their daily rounds and it led to altering of roles. To assume a role was a natural result and often happened when a relative/family member got a disease or an injury..

The purpose of this essay is to understand how children and adolescent regard participating infamily therapy sessions, and the children´s views on their own contribution to the therapy.Another focus is weather family therapy can strengthen children´s identity and sence ofcoherence, and thus help them being more able to coping with dificulties in the future.Important questions for this work is to investigate how the attitudes and abilities of familytherapists can help the children become participating subjects, and how the collaborativeapproach contribute to bringing new perspectives and opportunities in the family's relationalcontext and life situation. SammanfattningUndersökningen är riktad till dem som är intresserade av ett väldigt utmanande, nytt och framtidstänkande arbete med sörjande föräldrar. Ambitionen med studien har varit att få en fördjupad kunskap kring family support teamets arbete, roller och funktioner på ett barnhospice. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod har jag uppnått studiens syfte. I undersökningen har jag använt mig av frågeställningarna: Hur beskriver family support teamet sina arbetsuppgifter med obotligt sjuka barn och deras familjer? Samt vilket samarbete finns det mellan family support teamet och de övriga professionerna på Ty Hafan? Studieresultaten har jag relaterat till ett rollteoretiskt - samt organisationsteoretiskt perspektiv.

Aspergers syndrom (AS) innebär bland annat en begränsning i social interaktion, vilket resulterar i svårigheter inom flera kommunikativa förmågor. Trots dessa svårigheter finns ett begränsat utbud av kommunikativ intervention för personer med AS idag. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att analysera den vardagliga interaktionen hos vuxna personer med AS för att få fram ett underlag för hur en kommunikativ intervention skulle kunna utformas. Föreliggande studie bestod av en intervjudel och en videodel. I intervjudelen ingick sju deltagare och i videodelen ingick två deltagare.

I psykiatrireformens spår har ett större antal patienter med psykiatriska sjukdomar blivit mer beroende av sina anhöriga. Det ledde till att anhöriga får ta ett stort ansvar som leder till en merbelastning ?Burden of care?. Merbelastningen påverkade det känslomässiga klimatet i familjen ?Expressed emotion?.
