The purpose of this study has been to investigate how psychosocial support for families where a parent suffers from a life threatening illness can be constructed. The intent was also to explore how the child's perspective is protected and what barriers and opportunities there are for family oriented support. The study has a qualitative approach and includes interviews with four social workers. The interviews were analyzed with a systems theory and attachment theory. The conclusions are that the whole family suffers psychological and social pressures when a parent is sick.

This study aims to explore parents and treatment personnels experiences of the Marte meo methodat a family treatment home. Three retrospective interviews were made with parents whoexperienced Marte meo treatment, as well as four interviews with treatment personnel. The purposeof the Marte meo method is to develop the interaction between parent and child. Previous resultsfrom studies show that treatment with the Marte meo method could provide positive effects to theparent child relationship. The results in this study have been analyzed by using parts of attachmenttheory, the salutogenic perspective and the term intersubjectivity.

The aim of this study is to understand which strategies helped women escape honourbased violence, by reading the autobiographies of seven women. Honourbased violence is a relatively new problem in Sweden, but it has existed for a long time. According to FN (2012) 5000 women are murdered every year in the name of honour. Honourbased violence is about maintaining the honour of the family. Womens sexuality is connected to men´s honour, and because of that they are not allowed to express it.

Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa närståendes behov vid plötslig död samt att understryka relevanta omvårdnadsåtgärder i akuta skeden. Litteraturstudien är baserad på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar som på olika sätt behandlar närståendes behov vid plötslig död.

Alkoholkonsumtionen i Sverige har ökat drastiskt de senaste tio åren med stigande alkoholrelaterad ohälsa i befolkningen som konsekvens. Distriktssköterskans preventiva och promotiva arbetssätt kan vara ett viktigt element i folkhälsoarbetet mot denna ohälsa.Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att utifrån befintlig forskning beskriva distriktssköterskans preventiva arbete för att motverka alkoholmissbruk hos vuxna i primärvården. Frågeställningarna var om det har någon effekt och om det fanns hindrande faktorer för detta arbete. Metoden som användes var en systematisk litteraturstudie där artikelsökningar gjordes i databaserna CINAHL, Swemed+ och Medline. Åtta artiklar med kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats ingår i föreliggande litteraturstudie.

Studiens syfte var att, genom en 12 veckor lång intervention bestående av ett medvetet arbete med läsförståelsestrategier, bidra till ökad förståelse av sambandet mellan undervisningsmetod och elevers läsförståelse samt elevers och lärares upplevelse av detta arbete. Interventionen i studien genomfördes med för- och eftertest av både avkodning och läsförståelse, elevenkäter samt samtal med inblandade lärare för att tolka upplevelsen hos dessa två grupper. Testresultaten tolkades kvantitativt och enkäter samt lärarsamtal genomgick en kvalitativ bedömningsprocess. På det test som mäter läsförståelse framstod en grupp som de stora vinnarna i arbetet med läsförståelsestrategier, nämligen den grupp som i förtestet uppnådde stanineresultat 1-3. Elevgruppen med stanineresultatet 4-9 i förtestet visar ingen märkbar förbättring på eftertestet.

Presently the most common way to acquire a forest estate in Sweden is to acquire it within the family. To decide to let go after a whole life as a forest owner and manager of your own land is for many people a hard decision to make and often requires a long process. The complex process that a succession of ownership often is includes both questions about economy, legal aspects and regulations, taxes and questions of more personal nature, often called soft issues. These personal aspects or soft issues are important and can if handled poorly or not at all negatively affect relationships in the family for a very long time.

Genom Monroedoktrinen och dess korollarier har USA haft en förevändning att intervenera närhelst de ansett att intressena, som ska tillvaratas i doktrinen, har utmanats. Vi har i denna uppsats valt att analysera tre fall av amerikansk intervention i Latinamerika med målet att finna en gemensam drivkraft bakom amerikansk utrikespolitik i Latinamerika.

A few hundred metres from the beach on Fårö, Gotland, is a small lot with pine trees, green moss and wild fl owers situated, owned by my brother and sister. Eventually they would like tobuild a summerhouse here, in close proximity to their relatives. My project is a proposal for the summerhouse at the site, within the restrictions of 61 m² building area, with focus on interior,exterior and the environment.My proposal is a house close to the surrounding nature, with reference to the the building tratition on the island and with local materials. Orientation to the sun, road and neighbours hasall infl uenced my ideas of this house and the relation between inside and outdoor living, were important in my creative work. The aim was to create a house made for the family and theirholiday lifestyle and allowed consideration for the possibility of a growing family with more children.

Work-Life Balance (WLB) is defined as the ability to manage both work-life and non-work life successfully. WLB can be evaluated by examining individual?s experience of Work-Family Conflict (WFC) and Family-Work Conflict (FWC), both of which can be assessed by a questionnaire developed by Netemeyer, Boles and McMurrian (1996). The aim of this study was to explore if responses to the questionnaire, the amount of time spent on studies, household chores and sick leave, were gender related or not, among civil-accountants students. The survey included 138 respondents (74 woman and 64 men).
