The Battle of Breitenfeld took place in 1631, during the 30-year war. It was the biggest battle the Swedish army has participated in. The essay analyses the battle from a Swedish-Saxon perspective, using the Basic skills, ground tactical principles and management philosophy of decentralized command.The essay is based on a case study stemming from a qualitative text analysis, and is as such divided into three parts. The first part of the essay describes my theory, and explains what the different terms stand for. The second part narrates the battle and the participating armies.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the plaintiffs and the defendant?s prospects to change their claims and pleas in optional civil actions and how the rules for the modifications of a suit are affecting the framework of the process. The plaintiff's general ability to expand and alter the claim is found in the chapter 13, 3 § of the Act of Procedure and the Basic principle is that a claim is not to be changed. From this Basic principle exceptions are allowed to claim another fulfillment or to expand the process with a claim for interest or other additional obligations. The plaintiff can also limit his or her claim or expand the claim with new legal foundations as long as the issue of the process does not change.

Literature is an important part of the daily activity in preschool and it is also a powerful tool for reinforcing different norms.The purpose of this study is to explore, through qualitative interviews, for what purpose pedagogues in preschool use literature in their daily activity and what needs these pedagogues see for non-heteronormativity literature. The study also relates the needs that pedagogues see with the Basic values presented in the Swedish National Curriculum for preschool.Literature is used in preschool for a wide range of purposes including; enriching the language, getting familiarized with the written language, show diversity, reinforce norms on how to be a good friend, as a starting-point for discussion, working with a theme or to have a fun time.The needs that the pedagogues see for non-heteronormativity literature can be divided in to three categories namely there is always a need, there is only a need when somebody requires that kind of literature to identify themselves with or there is only a need when somebody is being discriminated because of not belonging to the heteronorm.The need for non-heteronormativity literature being there always corresponds with the Basic values in the Swedish National Curriculum for preschool and the recommendation that the Basic values are visible in the daily activity of the preschool. The other needs doesn?t correspond with this, but it matches other parts of the Swedish National Curriculum for preschool..

Kadesjös Ingenjörsbyrå AB, ett konsultföretag inom bygg- och VVS-sektorn med ca 50 anställda, använder ett egenskrivet Basic program i DOS för beräkning av grundfundament i betong med grundsula och plintskaft avseende stabilitet och erforderlig armering. I dagsläget finns det ungefär 10 användare av programmet.Några kända problem med programmet är att varje dator måste konfigureras manuellt med kommandopromptens NET USE kommando. Detta för att en anslutning av nätverksskrivaren till den lokala porten LPT1 måste finnas för att utskriften ska fungera. Dessutom kan varken indata eller resultat från ett fundament sparas.Detta examensarbete behandlar arbetet för att konvertera det äldre DOS programmet till ett modernare fönsterbaserat programspråk med möjlighet att kunna spara fundamenten för respektive projekt..

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka vad som motiverar de som volontärarbetar inom fritid och hälsa samt att se om motivationerna skiljer sig beroende på tid som volontär. En webbenkät med frågor tagna från Volunteer functions inventory (VFI) och Basic need satisfaction at work scale (BNS) skickades ut till 220 volontärarbetare för att få svar på frågorna: Vilka motivationsfaktorer är bäst uppfyllda hos volontärarbetarna och förändras dessa över tid? Resultatet visade enligt VFI att Värderingar, det osjälviska hos människan, Förståelse, viljan att söka nya kunskaper, och Förstärkning, egenutveckling, har högst värden hos volontärerna. Vad gäller BNS så visade resultatet att Kompetens, förståelse för och delaktighet i sin omgivning, var bäst uppfyllt följt av Samhörighet, upplevelsen att tillhöra en viss social miljö. Enligt VFI har tiden som volontärarbetare inget samband med motivationsfaktorerna medan BNS visade att alla faktorer minskade men motivationsfaktorn Samhörighet sjönk mest.

Problem: How is Lean, a production-focused model being applied to non-productive focused industries.Purpose: To examine how Lean has been applied to the department of Turbuhaler-Kvalitetskontroll and which parts have been successfully applied.Problem statement: How does the implementation of Lean?s Basic concept, which originated in the car industry, differentiate itself from the implementation of Lean in the pharmaceutical industry, in this case the department of Turbuhaler-Kvalitetskontroll at AstraZeneca.Conclusions: The department has had success in its implementation of lean. They have developed and modified the Basic concept in order to apply it and excluded the parts they did not consider necessary. Through their work they have accomplished numerous improvements in, among other things, the reduction of lead time. .

Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete inom Programmet för Användarinriktad Systemutveckling vid Linköpings universitet, Campus Norrköping. Resultatet är en databasapplikation som är utvecklad specifikt för C.N.S. Systems AB i Linköping. I uppgiften ingår analys, utformning, realisering, implementering, dokumentation samt i viss mån även förvaltning och drift. Utvecklingsarbetet har skett i nära samarbete med företaget som har tillhandhållit arbetsplatser och datorutrustning.

Innehållet i denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete som har utförts våren 1998 åt Kiruna Softcenter AB. Arbetets syfte är att ge exempel på hur datanätverk kan presenteras lägesriktigt m h a GIS (Geografiska Informations System) och vilka fördelar detta medför. Arbetet genomfördes i två faser. Den första fasen innehöll en förundersökning om vad det finns för tidigare erfarenheter inom området vad gäller nyttan att redovisa ledningsinformation m h a GIS. Den andra fasen, målet med arbetet, var att utveckla en GIS-applikation som visar hur olika datornätverk sträcker sig i olika byggnader eller städer.

The possible implications for the importance of knowing about ones culture in an organization affect both the recruitment process in organizations and what the organization stands for and what is conveyed through values and ways to act in the organization. The purpose of this study was, through the use of semi-structured interviews with young coaches and organizational leaders and a review of policys, to get the perspective and experiences of young coaches regarding cultural influence on their leadership.

Bakgrunden till rapporten var att det företag som medverkat i studien ville utveckla ett grundmönster för damkappor. Syftet med arbetet blev därför att utarbeta ett grundmönster med två ärmtyper som graderas mellan storlek 32-50, samt konstruera en kappmodell från samma grund. Utöver detta skulle även detaljkonstruktioner och specifikationer utformas. Frågeställningarna som styrde arbetet kretsade därför kring hur man på bästa sätt tar fram detta.All konstruktion utfördes i Lectra´s Modaris. För att ta fram grundmönstret jämfördes två arbetssätt för att sedan välja en av de grunder som konstruerats.

The purpose of this thesis is to study to what extent the UN millennium development goals have influenced Sweden?s development policy. The research method that I have used is a qualitative text analysis and I have studied the ideas in governmental texts and millennium development goals reports from 1995-2008.My hypothesis is that the Basic ideas that has symbolized Sweden?s development policy has not changed much since the adoption of the millennium development goals in year 2000. This hypothesis is based on different ideas that the Basic perspectives in international development policy are rather constant.My conclusion is that many of the areas that are affected by the millennium development goals already are prioritized areas within Swedish development policy, for example poverty reduction and gender equality.

Preschool has a long tradition of using picture books, both as entertainment and as a resource for educational activities. In science there are two main application areas. The first one is science concepts and the second is to teach Basic science process skills. These skills, observing, communicating, inferring, classifying, measuring and predicting reflects the methods used by scientists. Picture books potential to put science concepts and activities that promote the use of science process skills in a meaningful context, recommends using picture books for this purpose.

The aim of this study is to research images of the academic world that is presented, incorporated and reproduced within the frames of the mentorship in the Basic level. Can these images derive to the view upon science as a traditionally male area? Is mentorship gendered? Can the mentorship on the Basic level be viewed upon as a milestone of a academic career where men and women have different opportunities to succeed?By interviewing seven mentors, working in a social sciences institution in a larger Swedish university, I have come to the conclusion that knowledge is coded male and that this affect mentors mental images of what male and female students are expected to do. The male student represent the scientist, while the female student represent what the scientist is not.Depending on the work of, among others, Kerstin Norlander, Dorothy Smith and Eva Erson I have come to view upon the university as a patriarchal organisation witch produces knowledge based upon male values, experiences and concepts. This precludes the female within this organisation from relating to the knowledge she is supposed to incorporate.

This paper discusses normativity in selecting musical phonograms in public libraries. The purpose is to gain an increased understanding of music activity in public libraries. To do this I have interviewed five music librarians about their visions, ideals and goals with their work. The questions discussed concern ambitions with the music activity and how to keep up to date with current record releases. For the theoretical frame I use two kinds of material.
