Homeless adolescents are in Sweden rather invisible, as a group. There is no established definition or description of the problem, nor any uniform terms regarding it. The purpose of this study is to investigate how four different organizations, based on their basic principles, describe the group homeless adolescents. We discuss why the organizations reason as they do, and what it leads to. In order to do so we have performed qualitative interviews with representatives from each organization.

Det här examensarbetet har utförts vid SCA Hygiene Products:s produktions-anläggning i Lilla Edet. Där trä och återvunnet material förädlas till toalett- och hushållspapper för konsumenter och industrier. Bakgrunden till projektet var att de anställda vid konverteringen var överrepresenterade vad gäller belastningsbesvär. Projektet var avgränsat till tre av produktionslinjerna vid konverteringen. Vilket omfattade ungefär 55 operatörer som arbetade 5-skift.

Syfte: Att studera prevalensen av samsynsproblem hos förstaårselever på optikerprogrammet, och jämföra med förstaårselever från ekonomihögskolan. Denna studie är tänkt att ligga till grund för en longitudinell studie av samsynsproblem hos optikerstudenter samt ekonomistudenter vid Linnéuniversitetet i Kalmar.Metod: I studien deltog 15 optikerstudenter samt 15 ekonomistudenter, som läser första året vid Linneuniversitetet i Kalmar. Undersökningen inleddes med en anamnesenkät och sedan utfördes en binokulär synundersökning innehållandes tester av samsynen. Resultaten analyserades och jämfördes med normalvärden för att bestämma studentens eventuella vergens- eller ackommodationssyndrom.Resultat: Bland optikerstudenterna hade 6 studenter av 15 tendens till något av vergens- eller ackommodationssyndromen, och bland ekonomistudenterna hade 9 studenter av 15 tendens till något av vergens- eller ackommodationssyndromen.Slutsats: Denna studie visade en prevalens av samsynsproblem hos optikerstudenter på 40 % och hos ekonomistudenter på 60 %, vilket är något högre än tidigare studier. Att optikerstudenter skulle vara mer utsatta för samsynsproblem än andra studenter är något denna studie inte tyder på.

This study takes its starting point in ongoing changes and differences in the global power dynamics. The liberal rules-based world order that has been acknowledged for governing the world with the US as the hegemon of power has been strongly challenged during the last decades. Russia?s invasion of Ukraine can be seen as an example of ongoing changes in the world order, with Russia as a challenger to the US as the hegemon of power. The changes and instability that this has led to for Sweden's national security situation can be seen as a concrete example of how ongoing changes in the world order affect Sweden?s foreign policy.

This thesis in Educational Sciences consists of a narrative ideology-analysis of the Swedish school's fundamental values with perspectives from the philosophy of Nietzsche and Kant, which also analyzed the same way, with the aim to trace and problematize the ideological foundations of "our society's shared values" that teachers should convey to the students. Based on a theory that a humanism crisis occurs when important values are perceived as threatened, does the introduction of the basic values of the curriculum appear as a response tosocietal changes. Nietzsche and Kant represent completely different idea currents that both have been reflected in the curriculum in which basic values have different meanings. Nietzsche has inspired social criticism, postcolonial and postmodern thinkers to a critical constructivist approach that is an asset in the multicultural classroom to deconstruct stereotypes and prejudices. That culture, ethnicity, morality and religion do not have an objective essence, but seen as social constructions, using a critical approach is a way of thinking which was developed with inspiration from Nietzsche.

Through an examination on a Telemarketing company this paper aim to investigate which relations there is between the level of motivation and performance and how these are related to the factors that are included in Herzbergs two-factor-theory.In this essay we have been using a questionnaire and interview. We have also been able to collect statistics on employees from the Telemarketing company we examine. On the basis of these data we have analyzed which relations there is.The examination shows on relations who mean that the factors Performance and Acknowledgement are the ones that affect the motivation the most, and therefore the level of Performance. The rest of the Motivation factors don?t show any clear relations.

Den vanligast förekommande smittspridningen sker via händer. Trots stor kunskap om vikten av handhygien bland sjukvårdspersonal har olika studier visat att följsamheten inte motsvarar det förväntade. Syftet med den här litteraturstudien är att belysa läkares och sjuksköterskors kunskap om, attityder och följsamhet till handhygien samt att belysa eventuella skillnader. Arbetet omfattar tio vetenskapliga artiklar från Europa och Nordamerika samt litteratur för att besvara uppsatsens frågeställning. Resultatet i den här uppsatsen visar att både läkare och sjuksköterskor har relativt goda kunskaper om handhygien men där läkare och sjuksköterskor jämförs har sjuksköterskor bättre kunskaper. De vanligaste orsakerna till negativa attityder är tidsbrist samt torr och irriterad hud p g a handtvättningsmaterial.

Palliative care is a care that focuses on providing end of life care but not to delay or hasten death. Despite training, nurses often show a lack of knowledge in attitude, ethics and healthcare issues of palliative care. The nurse in palliative care has a central role in caring of the dying patient and therefore a big responsibility. However, palliative care is a low priority in basic training. The aim of this study is to investigate the roles of nurses in palliative care and if there is a need for increased education in the subject.

Protracted social conflicts, as those in Cyprus and Northern Ireland, are based on deep rooted perceptions of identity and definitions of "the other". According to the theory of discursive conflict transformation, war is primarily a social phenomenon, which is legitimated by a discourse of identity defined in terms of exclusionist boundaries and structural ideas of the social relations in society. In order to develop positive peace, the discourse of violence has to be challenged and the discursive structures that enable war have to transform into a counterdiscourse of inclusion and individuality. For the purpose of making a critical peace analysis, I have, with the assistance of established conflict theories, analysed the basic ideas behind the the Annan Plan and the Belfast Agreement and thus been able to interpret to what extent they may foster positive peace. I argue, that in order to provide basic needs on a group basis, power sharing arrangement, based on ethnicity or religion, exacerbates division rather than ameliorating it.

It is in- tended for undergraduate students with some basic knowledge of differential geometry and complex analysis.After defining the concept of minimal surface and giving a brief histo- rical survey, we look at some well-known minimal surfaces and a few of their characteristic properties. The connection between minimal surfaces and harmonic functions is discussed and the Weierstrass-Enneper represen- tation formulas are introduced. We also present Bjo?rling?s problem and give some examples. .

The object with this work was to create a simple feeding program for beef cows. Another object was that I could learn more about the properties and functions of Excel and Visual Basic. I used parts of a program I designed a few years ago. This old program was neither user friendly nor had it an appealing layout. Initially I decided how I wanted the new program to appear and on which foundation it should be built. I designed various forms into a spread sheet, such as lists and multiple choice buttons. Using VBA (Visual Basic for Application) I could create macros, which used the information chosen in the lists and with the multiple choices to calculate the feeding requirement or the feeding plan.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att sammanställa vetenskaplig kunskap om hälso- och sjukvårdspersonals attityder gentemot handhygien. Resultatet baseras på 10 st vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visar att sjukvårdspersonal har en positiv attityd till handhygien vid patientkontakt eller vid exposition av kroppsvätska. Däremot finns en negativ attityd vid användandet av handskar, tro att handhygien orsakar hudirritation och när handhygiensmedel ej finns lättillgängligt. Personalens attityder påverkas av vilken kunskap de har och deras arbetsledares åsikter gällande handhygien.
