The relatively poor economy in European dairy farming might be improved from efficient feeding systems and dietary management. Increasing herd sizes and transition to loose housing systems in Sweden, increases the possibilities for other feeding systems than separate feeding that is the traditional feeding system in Sweden. Other possible feeding systems are partial mixed ration (PMR) and total mixed ration (TMR), where the TMR system sometimes is associated with overfeeding and thereby increased environmental impact and high feed cost. Diets providing nutrients above or below animal requirements are considered as unbalanced, which in turn are associated with reductions in health, fertility and milk production. On the other hand, a balanced feed ration improves feed efficiency, nitrogen utilization and profitability.

However, new established companies are struggling to maintain their selves during the startup process and according to a survey from Tillväxtanalys, only 68 % of startup companies from 2008 were still active three years later. One of the main reasons is lack of capital and the most common approach to finance companies is to apply for a bank loan. In other words, commercial banks are of great importance for new businesses. I mars 2008 stod en statlig offentlig utredning klar med förslaget att avskaffa revisionsplikten för alla små och medelstora aktiebolag, detta för att främja det svenska företagandet. Revisionen innebär sedan länge en kvalitetsstämpel vid arbetet med krediter och ett avskaffande skulle kunna innebära ändrade förutsättningar vid kreditgivningen. Den svenska bankmarknaden består till stor del av de fyra storbankerna; Swedbank, Handelsbanken, Nordea och SEB. Dessa bankers inställning till förslaget har studerats i ett flertal uppsatser och rapporter. I denna uppsats genomförs därför tre personliga intervjuer med Sverigefilialer till utländska banker; Fortis Bank, DnB NOR Bank och Upplandsbanken (provinsbank inom Danske Bank) och två personliga intervjuer med fristående sparbanker; Sala Sparbank och Sparbanken i Enköping. Revisionens betydelse idag och hur kreditgivningsprocessen därmed skulle påverkas vid ett avskaffande i de undersökta bankerna, visade sig skifta och tycktes bero på storleken på de företag som utgör bankernas kundkrets.

The composing of new standards in the area of machinery safety is a continuous work which aims at writing standards that works as a tool for companies and enables them to control if the fundamental demands of security and health which is prescribed by law are reached. It is optional for the companies to choose if they want to use the standards. This report is written in cooperation with SIS and the study were performed within the technical committee SIS/TK 282. The report aims to investigating if the companies that choose to use standards see any economic advantages due to this work, how these advantages take form and where they originate. The main question formulation is how the profitability among companies that have adjusted their production to machinery safety standards are affected. The study was performed with an initial literature study which aimed at obtaining knowledge and an overview over the subject as well as investigate what former studies had resulted in.
