Finansiell reklam under 2000-talet : De fyra storbankernas reklaminköp
Denna uppsats granskar marknadsföringen av finansiella tjänster i Sverige. Fokus ligger på de fyra stora bankerna, Swedbank, SEB, Handelsbanken och Nordea. Litteraturgenomgången presenterar teorier om hur och varför finansiella organisationer gör reklam för sina tjänster. Den går igenom: reklamens mål, styrkefaktorer att lyfta fram, vilka faktorer, som får en kund att byta bank, det visuella i marknadsföringen och vilka kanaler, som finns att tillgå. Uppsatsen vill besvara frågorna: Hur mycket lägger de fyra storbankerna på reklam? Hur har reklamköpen utvecklats under 2000-talet? Hur skiljer sig de olika bankernas satsningar åt? Hur har respektive bolag utvecklats över åren totalt sett? Vem tar andelar? Med hjälp av siffror på reklaminköp under 2000-talet besvarar uppsatsen sedan dessa frågor.
Är Leviathan giftig? : Autonomi och repression som förklaringar till regimskillnader i förväntad livslängd
During the last decade a number of studies have been published that investigate how the most fundamental aspect of political organization, the regime type, affects population health. The results unanimously show that citizens of democracies live longer and healthier lives than citizens of non-democracies. Many explanations for this have been suggested, among these are that democracies redistribute more and invest more in salutogenic resources, and that the tendency of dictatorships to control the media negatively affects the ability to spread information crucial to public health. When these mechanisms are controlled for, however, it turns out that democracy has a large residual correlation with for example life expectancy, which suggests that other mechanisms are also involved.In this paper two new mechanisms regarding the possible psychosocially mediated health effects of the regime type are investigated, namely political repression, and the possible negative effects this might have on the levels of chronic stress, and autonomy, which connects to a large previous literature in social epidemiology. In the paper an ecological cross-country design is used and country-level data, provided mainly by the World Bank and Freedom House, is analyzed with a simple multiple OLS-regression model.

Effektivare reservdelsberedning för sammansättningsutrustning
Detta examensarbete är utfört på avdelningen TPM-office, Volvo Personvagnar AB i Olofström. Idag producerar VCBC, Volvo Car Body Components, i Olofström med en produktionstakt på cirka 450 000 karossatser om året. Tanken är att en 30 % takthöjning skall klaras av med samma numerär av människor. Detta kommer att ställa enorma krav på utrustningarnas tillgänglighet. Det övergripande målet är att skapa förutsättningar för en effektiv reservdelsberedning och det förebyggande underhållet.
Internal Communication Approach : En empirisk undersökning av de interna kommunikationskanalerna på ICA Butiksadministration
Title: Internal Communication Approach ? A study of the internal communication-channels of the ICA Administration. Background: The ICA Administration is in the process of generating an organizational change with the purpose of improving their external communication. The internal communication, on the other hand, has been put aside and is missing guidelines at the present. Since the ICA Administration does not know how the staff uses the internal communication-channels they cannot optimize nor develop them. As the literature shows, it is important to choose the channel that is most appropriate for the type of information that it is meant to communicate. Choosing the wrong channel, or using it wrongly, can bring problems consisting of the staff experiencing to receive less information than needed in their daily work. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to explore and describe the internal communication between the employees of the ICA Administration from the existing communication-channels and their usage. Method: Through the initial interviews with the staff, the internal communication-channels of the ICA Administration were determined.
SEB och Länsförsäkringars tolkningar av skyddet för investerare i MiFID
MiFID (Markets in Financial Instrument Directive) är ett EU-direktiv som trädde i kraft den 1 november 2007, vilket har för avsikt att avreglera och harmonisera finans¬marknaderna i Europa samt ge investerare ett ökat skydd. MiFID har inneburit förändringar för värdepappershanterande företag som exempelvis de svenska bankerna som handlar med värdepapper och ger råd till kunder i samband med dessa affärer. Utredningens syfte är att undersöka hur Länsförsäkringar och SEB har tolkat MiFID med avseende på skyddet för privata investerare. För att uppfylla syftet har författarna gjort två intervjuer på respektive bank. Den teoretiska referensram som används är Regeringens proposition 2006/07:115 vilken ligger till grund för MiFID:s implementering i svensk lag.

We also want to see if Nordea uses additional strategies that goes beyond the theory and what their customer relationship strategy is.Method: The study has a qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Interviews with leading and skilled profiles at Nordea Private Banking has been interviewed to provide answers to our research question.Theoretical framework: The chapter starts with theory about what relationship marketing is and what is driving customer loyalty. Thereafter theory that define CRM and its pros and cons are addressed, and finally the chapter describe the implementation phase.Empirical framework: In the empirical framework we present the qualitative interviews that were done with employees at Nordea Private Banking.Conclusion: The result from this study shows that Nordea Private Banking uses strategies that are common in theory of CRM to gain high customer loyalty and the use of recommendations from satisfied customers is of a much higher significance in Nordea Private Banking?s case than of what the theory is implying.
Visualisering av säkerhetsinformation på AB Wahlquists Verkstäder
Workplace accidents in Sweden have in recent years increased. Companies are at the same time putting a greater emphasis on preventing accidents and inform about safety and risks. Therefore there is a need to know how to visualize this safety information. This study is based on a part of a project proposed by the industrial company AB Wahlquists Verkstäder, in which they want to visualize their safety information for new employees and existing staff, and also for temporary contractors and apprentices. The purpose of this study is to see what is required of the visualization of safety information and what guidelines that should be followed.

We also want to give an understanding of what factors may be responsible for the outcome that it may be helpful in future financial crises. Method: A qualitative study was the basis for the study, where three interviews were carried out by the respondents from Nordea Life and Pension. Theory: In this section we have focused on relevant theory and has divided them into different themes, advice, current legislation, marketing, consumption and buying behavior. Conclusion: The study shows that Nordea Life and Pension had a positive growth during the financial crisis and a number of factors are presented that may be the basis for the outcome.Proposal for further research: Since this study was limited to one company it may be intresting to investigate and examine the consuling industry market as a whole affected by the financial crisis. Contributions: This paper has provided an understanding of how Nordea Life and Pensions affected during a financial crisis, based on market share and the factors that may have been the basis for this..
Bankers marknadsstrategier på bolånemarknaden ? en jämförelse mellan svenska banker
Syfte: Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka och beskriva om det finns några skillnader och/eller likheter i hur svenska storbanker respektive övriga banker arbetar strategiskt för att få nya bolånekunder samt behålla befintliga. Metod: Sex stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med tre storbanker respektive tre övriga banker har utförts. Vi har bandat intervjuerna för att sedan sammanfatta dem och skicka tillbaka dem till respondenterna för godkännande. Urvalet av banker gjordes genom att kontakta de fyra största bankerna i Sverige där tre valde att delta. Övriga banker valdes ut subjektivt.

The paper's purpose has evolved during the process of researching and writing it. In the beginning it was to investigate if art and culture could increase the strength and knowledge of a brand and if there existed a knowledge about this amongst Swedish companies, situated in Stockholm. During the process the purpose has evolved into exploring the type of companies that acknowledge this and those that don't. By using Bourdieu's terminology and tools, the reasons behind the use of art has been analyzed.The paper employs an explorative approach by accessing data through interviews and public data provided by the Internet through web pages and government files.The paper comes to the conclusion that what Holt calls cultural branding has not evolved, when looking at the companies that are accurate for this study. Out of 24 companies only one comes close to observing socio cultural movements through the arts.
Revisionspliktens avskaffande : Vad innebär det?
Problem och Syfte: I och med regeringsskifte har diskussionen kring revisionens avskaffande åter blommat upp. Detta som ett led i en anpassning till resten av Europa där detta redan skett. I Sverige har frågan blivit alltmer belyst i den offentliga debatten. Syftet med uppsatsen är att fånga förväntningen hos revisionsbyråer, mikroföretag och banker kring ett avskaffande av revisionsplikten och vad detta kommer att innebära. Dels för de egna verksamheterna och dels för samhället i stort.
Avskaffandet av revisionsplikten - En studie av dess påverkan på bankers kreditgivning till små ägarledda företag
In April 2008 an official report, SOU (2008:32), was presented. In that report it was suggestedthat the statutory audit for approximately 96 % of the Swedish companies was to be abolished.The report suggests that the new regulations should apply to all limited companies thatare below two of three limits that have been suggested: a) a balance-sheet total of 41,5 millionSEK; b) a net turnover of 83 million SEK or; c) less than 50 employees. The regulations aresuggested to come into force July 1, 2010. According to the Swedish laws that regulate thelimited companies, Aktiebolagslagen 10:11, should all limited companies regardless of sizehave an chartered accountant or otherwise approved. The purpose of the audit is to create atrust towards the figures that the company shows and also to act as an assurance towards thirdparties (Collis, 2003; Strenger et al, 2008).
Extern rådgivares påverkan i kreditprocessen för småföretag
SammanfattningVi har undersökt hur kreditprocessen påverkas ur kredithandläggarens perspektiv, av att det kreditsökande småföretaget använder sig av en extern rådgivare eftersom tidigare forskning tyder på att det blivit svårare för dessa företag ett erhålla finansiering från banker. Ändringen i förmånsrättslagen 2004 är en bidragande faktor till småföretagens prekära situation eftersom det försämrade bankens utdelning vid en eventuell företagskonkurs. När en småföretagares kunskaper inte räcker till, kan en extern rådgivare konsulteras för vägledning i kreditprocessen. Vårt syfte med uppsatsen var att beskriva kredithandläggarnas uppfattning om den externa rådgivarens olika funktioner i kreditprocessen samt att analysera hur kreditprocessen påverkas av att en extern rådgivare agerar i småföretagets intresse. Vi har genom en kvalitativ undersökning och studerat fyra kredithandläggare i fyra olika banker med erfarenhet av vårt ställda problem och fångat deras respektive betraktelser.
