From being an exotic small religion that has existed at a fading presence in southern Iraq and Iran mandeism has moved to the West and Sweden. As more and more Mandaeans encounter a new culture and a new society in Sweden it affects not only them as individuals but also their religion mandeism. In this essay, I have begun to examine how Mandaeans think about their identity and religion. I have taken my starting point in a broad theoretical discussion of identity, religion and secularisation. Mandeism is a gnostic religion that probably has its roots in today?s Israel / Palestine and sees John the Baptist as the last prophet.

This Master's thesis discusses the freedom of speech, the right to freedom of opinion and expression, freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas in the context of public libraries in Sweden. The scope of this thesis is to examine the acquisition and maintenance of the literature about the killing of Sweden's Prime Minister Olof Palme 1986. This literature will serve as an instrument to measure the extent to which Swedish public libraries adhere to the rules set by the Swedish parliament, United Nations' universal declaration of human rights article 19, UNESCO's public library manifesto and the principles of the Federation of Library Associations and Institutions..

Tidigare forskning visar på att småbolagens existens har en stor betydelse. Småbolag bidrar inte bara till att generera fler jobb, de bidrar också till den ekonomiska tillväxten. Dock kräver deras existens och fortsatta tillväxt mer kapital, de behöver därmed ha tillgång till krediter. Tidigare forskning visar på att småbolag har svårigheter att erhålla bankkrediter jämfört med större bolag. På grund av Basel-regleringarna och de införda kapitalkraven har bankerna blivit mer försiktiga och är inte villiga att ta allt för stora risker.

The purpose for this study is to compare two major Swedish daily newspapers ?Dagens Nyheter? and ?Svenska Dagbladet? and their statements regarding the electors of Sweden Democrats attitude regarding immigrants and immigration policy during the autumn of 2013. The scope was to analyze medias interpretation with the electors of the Sweden Democrats statements and opinions regarding their immigration policy. I have used three different ques­tions to fulfill my purpose; the first one is to describe how media chooses to present the elec­tors of Sweden Democrats opinions regarding immigrants. The second question is to reflect and pre­sent the electors own opinions on immigrants and their immigration policies.

Teoretisk förankring och frågeställningar.Kundtillfredsställelse handlar om att sätta kunden i fokus. Det finns många faktorer som spelar in på en kunds upplevda globala tillfredsställelse, det vill säga det samlade intryck som denne får av ett företags produkt eller tjänst. Dock finns det enligt Sörqvist (2000) inga allmänt applicerbara parametrar som avgör vad det är som har mest inflytande på kundtillfredsställelsen. Därav kommer vi till vår första frågeställning;F1 = Vilka parametrar anser kunderna vara av störst vikt gällande kundtillfredsställelse i bank- respektive nyhetsapplikationer?Vidare menar Kuo et al (2009) att det på grund av detta är viktigt att identifiera rätt parametrar för varje unik kontext.

Bakgrund Det riktas idag mycket fokus på entreprenörskap i samhället och det blir allt vanligare att människor väljer företagande som ett karriärsval. Den tid vi nu lever i brukar kallas för entreprenörens era och de personer som väljer att starta eget företag hyllas som hjältar. Detta fokus på entreprenörskap grundar sig i att det i Sverige under de senaste två decennierna har skett ett ideologiskt skifte och en individualiseringsprocess på arbetsmarknaden. Genom denna individualisering har ansvaret för att få ett arbete flyttats från staten till individen. Individens rätt till en anställning har ersatts av skyldigheten till att skaffa en anställning.

AbstractEver since Sweden joined EU Swedish law has to be compatible with EU law. Swedish law cannot state anything that may restrict the freedom of establishment. This means that companies are free to change their resident within the EU without any restrictions. National rules regarding exit tax states that companies who wants to move their business out of Sweden is taxed as if their assets has been disposed of at the exit time. These rules have been found to restrict EU law according to case RÅ 2008 ref 30.

The aim of this study was to reach an understanding of how young adults with permanent residence permit, who came to Sweden as unaccompanied asylum seeking minors, experience their confrontation with the Swedish society. Another purpose was to understand how these young adults view Sweden and its inhabitants, as well as the experience of starting a new life in Sweden. In order to investigate these questions, a qualitative method consisting of five interviews with five young men was conducted.The results showed that the respondents feared the meeting with the immigration board and that they feel that school is divided in two groups, Swedes and immigrants. People with nonethnic Swedish background who have lived in Sweden for a long time are seen as Swedes, and in that meaning assimilated. One important conclusion we made was that the division between Swedes and immigrants have a negative influence on the immigrants´ integration in the society.

Att SEB fick göra en kontraktion av sin verksamhet och skifta fokus mot företagskunderna i Tyskland berodde delvis på förändringar i de institutionella villkoren. Följande studie beskriver och analyserar SEB:s förvärv och försäljning av sin tyska kontorsverksamhet. En bakgrund ges till SEB:s expansion i Tyskland samt processen fram till kontraktionen. Empirin har huvudsakligen införskaffats genom djupgående semistrukturerade intervjuer och ställs mot en modell för svenska bankers internationaliseringsprocess i vår analys. Vår studie visar på vikten av att anpassa sig efter och ta till sig skillnader i kultur och marknadsstruktur när man expanderar internationellt.A .

Earth science is a dynamic system science that explores the structures and processes of the earth. Knowledge about the earth is important for citizens since the science is a vital part in the sustainable development of the society. Without good basic knowledge the citizens don?t have the possibility to anticipate in the questions and decision-making that concerns e.g. anthropogenic climate change. In the Swedish school system earth science is not an independent subject until academically studies at the University?s.

To invest money in funds is increasing rapidly in popularity and one of the biggest reasons is that banks are offering a greater range of funds. Information about funds is always easy to find and it is easy to invest money in a fund because the bank takes care of all the management of the fund.The essay examines two funds from two different countries with an aim to choose the one with best potential yield. The first fund is entirely invested in North America and the second fund invests in Asia, with most of its possessions in companies from China. Both these funds invest in wellknown companies in respective region. The essay is limited to compare these funds with data from 2005 to 2009.Information was collected from Morningstar and Avanza Bank for the quantitative examination.

Age is one of two new discriminatory grounds in Swedish law. EU took official position against age discrimination by means of Council Directive 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000 establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation. From January the 1st 2009 it is, by Diskrimineringslag (2008:567), illegal in Sweden to discriminate anyone based on age. The law covers all age groups and is applicable to various fields in society. Age differ from other discriminatory grounds since everyone has an age.

Abstract: The purpose with this study is to analyse the political debate about freedom of speech in Sweden and Denmark, after the caricatures of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed that the Danish newspaper Jyllandsposten published in September 2005. For this debate four political parties have been chosen. These are: Socialdemokratiska Partiet and Moderata Samlingspartiet in Sweden and Socialdemokraterne and Venstre in Denmark.An idea analysis has been chosen as method, and dimensions as an analysing tool. The overall result of the analysis is that right- and left political parties in Sweden and Denmark are more alike, than different in their political debate about free speech. They all wish for total freedom of speech, and see that as the foundation of the democratic society.

Striga hermonthica, a parasitic weed, has long been believed to be correlated with the declining soil fertility status. However scientists have recently come to question this statement since some recent studies have shown contradictive results. To investigate whether soil fertility status and infestation of Striga hermonthica were correlated and the impact of it were caused by farmer management, 120 farmers in Western Kenya, where Striga hermonthica infestation is prone, participated in this study. In three districts with two sub-locations each, farmers answered a structural questionnaire and identified two fields, one with high and one with low soil fertility. These fields later came to be the basis for this study and soil were therefore also sampled from them.

Aim and starting point: The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to examine and define the paramount knowledge Chinese businessmen need in order to succeed with their establishment in Sweden. The authors also seek to answer what incentives attract Chinese businessmen to come to Sweden, as well as how Chinese establishments in Sweden can be predicted to appear in the future.Results/conclusions: The study outlines key areas in which Chinese businessmen should have knowledge in order to succeed with their establishment in Sweden. The results also gives an indication on how Chinese business establishments in Sweden will appear in the future, into which areas the Chinese mainly invest/establish in, as well as why and how these are done. On the basis of this material the authors generate proposals for educational packages which among others can be sold to Chinese businessmen.Knowledge overview: Here relevant theory connected to the area of study is presented.
