The purpose with our study is to investigate in which way a public field of action has succeeded to make the economic management more effective and also find out which factors/activities that have contributed to get the result of the budget in balance. We also want to find out in which degree the balanced scorecard (BSC) has contributed to the positive result of the budget. Method: We had started out from the qualitative method theory which is based on the hermeneutic theory, because we will interpret and understand. With this starting point we have chosen to use a case study with semi-standardised interviews supplemented with information from different documents, and to get the theoretic connection we have studied literature in the subject field. The analyse and even the theoretic connection have then started from, for this study, a special analyse model. Results: Througt systematic and target-concentrated management and through cooperated factors, with stress on a leadership that is both professional, visionary and un-combined, and there the staff´s is seen as a important resource, and there it is a clear strategy and objective to keep the cost of the activity within assigned budgetframe, has a public field of action, as the clinic of hab./rehab.

Syftet har varit att förklara varför en del företag redovisar finansiell leasing off-balance. Vår studie har angripits genom en enkätundersökning riktad till 67 börsnoterade industriföretag, svarsfrekvensen var 54%.

This study explores women?s experiences of the impact of remote work on work-life balance, and the potential consequences of telecommuting from a gender equality perspective. This investigation is contextualized by societal shifts post-pandemic, during which remote work has become increasingly prevalent. This transition raises new questions about the impact of home-based work on individuals? work-life balance, particularly for women who, according to prior studies, carry a greater responsibility for household tasks.

Public health focuses on interventions related to physical activity during leisure and at work under conditions where health care is offered during working hours. Increased physical activity offers many positive effects on health in general and reduces the risk for most injuries and illnesses. Female cleaners represent a profession that is largely composed of women at high risk of overload injury and rarely participate in wellness initiatives offered at workplace. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 20 minutes of daily physical exercise for 10 weeks of intervention for healthy female cleaners. A total of 40 female cleaners in a larger organization participated in the study and were divided in into an intervention group and a control group.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether there is any connection between working hours, desired working hours and the worker ?s health. The study also aims to investigate if there are any differences over time. Earlier studies have shown that individuals need a balance in their life between worked hours and free time. Syftet med denna undersökning är att djupare undersöka vad fenomenet work-life balance innebär i en svensk kommun. I teoriavsnittet behandlas delar om hur det såg ut tidigare på arbetsmarknaden och Sveriges lagar angående föräldraledighet. Det ges en förklaring till work-life balance begreppet som är förmågan att hantera både arbetssfären och icke-arbetssfären utan att någon av sfärerna tar över eller sätter press på den andra. Vårdkapital är även ett viktigt begrepp i denna undersökning och det står för omsorg, att ta hand om andra som t.ex. barn, äldre eller sjuka familjemedlemmar.

The study aimed to shed light on the distribution of space in the newspaper between men and women, those within power and those without in Swedish local press. The study was conducted with four newspapers, during a month of time with local editorial news material. In our study, we have assumed Lippmann?s and Strömbäck?s theories of pseudo-reality and distribution of gender and position of power in Sahlstrand and Jarlbro.

Bakgrund: Kaplan och Nortons modell Balanced Scorecard (BSC) introducerades i början av 1990-talet och är ett populärt resultatmätningssystem och strategiskt managementsystem inom ekonomi- och verksamhetsstyrning. BSC exemplifierar det Røvik (2008) kallar ett organisationsrecept och Abrahamson (1996) ett organisationsmode som spridits på en marknad för ekonomistyrningsmodeller. För att underlätta spridning av BSC samt minska motståndet på lokala marknader kan komponenter inkluderas, till exempel som Ax och Bjørnenak (2005) exemplifierar i Sverige avseende BSC och medarbetarperspektivet, ett budgetlöst företagande och det intellektuella kapitalet. Utöver modellens grundare, forskare, konsulter och massme-dia utgör studenter en aktörsroll som både är mottagare av BSC under utbildningen och spridningsagenter i samband med uppsatsarbeten och sedermera i yrkesutövningen. Det är kategorin studenter som är huvudfokus i denna uppsats om BSC popularitet och livscykel.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att skapa förståelse för om och på vilket sätt BSC kan uppfattas som ett populärt organisationsrecept.

Bakgrund: Genom elitidrottens utveckling mot en mer affärsmässig verksamhet har också kraven på och behoven hos elitidrottsföreningar förändrats. I föreningar på toppnivå inom exempelvis hockey drivs elitverksamheten mer eller mindre som företag, men ses rent juridiskt som föreningar. Ofta är dessa föreningar målstyrda. Balanced scorecard är en styrform som strävar efter att uppnå balans mellan målsättningar vad gäller mått, tid och organisation. Parallellt med den affärsmässiga verksamheten inom elitföreningarna finns det sektioner som drivs helt av ideella krafter och med helt andra målsättningar än de affärsmässiga.

This master thesis is made of two parts. The first part concerns the method and results ofdesigning a motion control system for a piece of research-equipment called BIRGIT. Theequipment is made to be used for research on eyemovements. In the second part, a computermodel of a part of the balance organ in the inner-ear is developed. The work has been done atthe Bernadotte laboratory at S:t Erik Eye Hospital.The equipment the control system is made for is a so-called rotationchair.

Övergripande resultat i studien är att KS idag präglas av ett annat tänkande i och med BSC-konceptets införande. Användandet av BSC konceptet har skett i sjukhusledningen, på medicinkliniken samt intensivvårdsavdelningen. Processen att arbeta fram styrkorten har resulterat i att man har minskat stuprörstänkandet, skapat en ökad helhetsförståelse och fått ett mer långsiktigt tänkande. Vidare har effekten av att man tycker om att mäta och värdera uppstått. Processen har även skapat ett ökat nätverk för KS både i och utanför Sverige, detta kan förhoppningsvis i slutändan visa sig i form av en ökad samhällsnytta.
