Utveckling av takra?cken fo?r sla?pvagnar
This report is a Bachelor thesis work in the field of product development and design. The assignment has been to develop a solution for roof racks, normally used for cars, to fit on the open trailer models FS1425 and Alugance. The project was implemented by Johan Andersson and Victor Karlsson, students at the Mechanical Engineering program with a focus on product development and design at Jo?nko?ping?s school of Engineering, in spring 2012.The client wants to use transport solutions in the same way as roof racks on cars. The user of such a product is assumed to desire simplicity, safety and an attractive design with an appealing price, which has been a challenge during the thesis work.Pre-studies have been conducted to examine the potential competitors and gain knowledge in the research area.
Statistik, nyckeltal och mätmetoder ? Vad ger de för bild av bibliotekens verksamhet?

Mating behaviour and hierarchy among male warthogs (Phacochoerus africanus) in Kenya
Warthogs live under natural conditions in matriarchal groups, Bachelor groups and yearling groups. Just like all pig species do warthogs have a complex behaviour repertoire. The semi-wild warthog population at Kichwa Tembo Lodge, outside Masai Mara National Reserve, lives in a fenced area with access to food all over the year and is protected from predators. The aim of this study was to observe the male warthogs? mating behaviour and their hierarchy during the mating season.
Psykiatrisjuksköterskans erfarenhet av att skapa hjälpande relationer med patienter inom slutenvården
This Bachelor?s thesis purpose is to examine how library staff experiences the meeting with non-Swedish speaking users of public libraries, and how they solve different situations. Today there is not much research on this subject but we find these questions important to study because we think it is good to be aware of the situations that can arise and discuss how to solve any problems. To have a basis for this qualitative study we conducted group interviews with library staff, where they are asked about their experiences with non-Swedish speaking users. In the analysis the results of the interviews are compared to previous research and related to communication theory, which is the theoretical framework for this study.

BLOD, SKATT OCH JORDEB?CKER. En j?mf?rande fallstudie om informationskapacitet i det postkoloniala Latinamerika
Tax revenue is crucial in order for states to survive. States vary a lot in terms of tax revenue
however, and different explanations are frequently debated among political scientists. Recently,
scholars have argued that the variations in tax revenue among European states today can largely be
explained by their ability to collect information about the citizens and their belongings during the
early modern period (1450-1800). States that were early in acquiring this information in so called
cadasters, could use it in order to collect tax. This fiscal capacity thereafter sustained in a path
dependent manner.

Eklektisism : Hur jag tolkar min samtid
During spring 2005 I, Hanna Brogård, undertook my Bachelor degree project in furniture design. The supervisors were Glenn Henningsson at Njudex in Vrigstad and Leó Jóhannson, teacher and examiner at Carl Malmsten CTD in Stockholm. The project was based on three elements:Design concept for upholstered furnitureCooperate together with a sofa producer for professional supervision and to learn more about industrial production and upholstery techniqueLearn more about furniture history of styleI contacted a sofa producer called Njudex, in the province of Småland, who became my work partner during this project. Eclecticism is the name of the furniture styles that became popular during the mid-nineteenth century. It develops from a new, rich society class arisen from industry and trade. The trend is based on the escape from reality to dreams of foreign countries, past centuries and nature.
Att skildra sin historia - En diskursanalys av franska politikers bild av Frankrikes roll som kolonisatör sett ur ett postkolonialteoretiskt och mångkulturellt perspektiv
The aftermath of colonization, culture diversity and the recognition of the ownidentity - living in a country which has the role of a former colonizer has got consequences in the multicultural French society. These consequences can be seen studying the politics, the education and the history of that country. In this Bachelorthesis I discuss the aftermath of French colonization with a focus on how the French cultural identity can be explained in defining colonialism in French lawmaking. The aim is to understand the definition of the own cultural identity from a postcolonial perspective and what meaning the multicultural society has for this definition. This is an issue which can be seen in politics as well as ineveryday life, and to make an understanding of it, I study how French politicians are representing their country's role as a former colonizer in a postcolonial era.
Märken i morgonljuset En kvantitativ studie av varumärkesexponeringen i Tv4:s Nyhetsmorgon
AbstractAuthors: Agnes Källén & Amanda RedinTitle:Level: Bachelor of JournalismLocation: University of GothenburgLanguage: SwedishNumber of Pages: 39With this study we aimed to answer the following questions: has the amount of brand exposure on the Tv4 show ?Nyhetsmorgon? increased between the years 2008 and 2013? And if so, how can the increase be explained by well-recognized research in the field? The media industry is changing toward an increasingly commercial content. In television, this change is mainly caused by the growth in shows watched on the web and through time shift, which is the act of watching something on a digital video recorder, or DVR. This gives the viewer the possibility to fast forward through the commercial breaks, and therefore forces the networks as well as the advertizer to find new ways to reach consumers. Hence the plausible growth in product placement and brand exposure.
Programvarustöd för hot-, risk- och sårbarhetsanalys
This report describes a final thesis done during the spring of 2008 as part of the Bachelor degree in computer engineering degree at the School of Engineering in Jönköping. The client is working in the consulting business and is involved in, amongst others, work regarding information security. Within this field they perform so called Threat, Risk and Vulnerability assessments. Today these assessments are done by a predefined method, but many details are controlled by the person documenting the project. A wish was made that the implementation was standardized, it should also ease the task of estimating the need for time and money. The solution for this seems to be a software tool.
?Tala är silver??: En undersökning av användarrecensioner på webben och på biblioteket
The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to examine reviewswritten by users in library online catalogs, online bookstoresand on the web community LibraryThing, in order todetermine whether there are any differences in the way usersreview books, and whether these differences might explainwhy libraries experience difficulties in getting their users toreview books. At the core of web 2.0 and library 2.0concepts lies the thought of user participation, and largerlibraries have sought to implement systems for reviewingand tagging items in the catalog in ways similar to onlinebookstores and other websites.By analyzing the contents of user reviews, however, thisthesis shows that users express themselves differentlydepending on what kinds of literature they review, and inwhat context. Most notably, user reviews of ?the Classics? orcanonized literature recognizes the high status of suchliterature, while users reviewing popular fiction expressthemselves in a way that admits that the reviewed titles areconsidered less valuable. There are also signs that booksreviewed at online bookstores are seen as products ormerchandise, while the reviews at the library to a greaterdegree treat the books as works of literature. The conclusion reached in this thesis suggests that there maybe a relation between the image of the library as a defenderof high culture and the perceived status of literary works, causing users to become hesitant to review books, feelingthat they do not have the knowledge to describe or reviewthem ?correctly?..
