Jämförelsestudie för tre olika metoder att beräkna genomstansning i betong : Skillnader i genomstansningskapacitet för metoderna i BBK04, EK2 och BHB

Before the European construction standards were introduced in January 2011, it was mainly themethod in BBK04 that was used for calculating punching capacity in concrete structures, and in lesscommon cases the method in BHB. The method of BBK04 is easy to use and have had the samestructure since the first was published in 1979. The Concrete handbook method (BHB) where usuallyonly used when a higher punching capacity was needed and the cross-sectional height where fixed,calculations using this method entails more work, but will in return usually give a higher capacity. Italso allows the use of shear reinforcement to increase the cross-section capacity. The method ofcalculating punching shear in EC2 differs largely from the methods of BBK04 and BHB.

AbstractAbetong in Falkenberg manufactures, among other things, small prefabricated concrete buildings for housing various installations, such as electric transformers.The aim of this dissertation is to reduce the time needed to design such buildings, by way of finding a number of standardized buildings. Standardized in such a manner as to incorporate both the needs of the manufacturer (Abetong) and its customers.To analyze the needs of the parties the work has included a market survey and calculations on the strength of these buildings.One survey was a letter questionnaire to all of Abetong?s customers who have, in the past, ordered these types of building. The aim of the questionnaire was to establish how the customers want these buildings designed.Another survey conducted was an inventory of all of Abetong?s previous projects where these types of building were manufactured.

Vidhäftning mellan prefabelement och pågjutningsbetong : Undersökning hur skrovligheten påverkar vidhäftningskapaciteten vid skjuvning

Self-compacting concrete has soon been around for a decade. Recently the prefabrication industry has started to use this fairly new concrete type in larger scales, mainly because of its distinctive properties.  There are still certain areas that need to be thoroughly examined, such as bond capacity. There have been very few studies regarding shear capacity due to the fact that the procedure is complicated.This report will highlight a method to examine the shear capacity of different surfaces that have been prewetted as well as non-prewetted surfaces. The surface areas follow BBK 04?s and Eurocode 2?s demand for surface roughness.  A smooth surface will be completed in order to confirm if the different shapes influence the bond strength by shear stress or not.                       The purpose of this essay is to measure the bond strength within the shear capacity as well as examine the impact it has on surface roughness and treatment for shear bond.The method used to identify the shear capacity is called L-shaped Push-Off Test.

Utmattning av järnvägsbroar av armerad betong: Jämförande beräkning för två befintliga plattrambroar

Många befintliga järnvägsbroar i Sverige närmar sig sin beräknade livslängd. Det finns också en önskan att öka tåglasterna, antalet tågöverfarter och tåghastigheterna för att klara dagens och framtidens behov. För att inte behöva riva fullt fungerade broar bör bärighetsutredningar ge resultat som stämmer väl överens med verkligheten. Med dagens betongnormer kan utmattning bli den dimensionerande faktorn, trots att få fall av brott har observerats i broar av armerad betong på grund av utmattning. Detta examensarbete jämför tre utmattningsmodeller på två plattrambroar av armerad betong belastade med järnvägstrafik, en från 1972 och en från 1995.
