The main purpose of recruiting is to find a job candidate who meets the demands of formal and informal competence at the same time as the candidate should be seen as the right person to the right place. Several job advertisements in the areas of finance and administration has at least two years of work experience as a demand before individuals can be seen as an appropriate job-candidate, hence it becomes a sort of ?catch-22? for graduates with no prior work experience. The purpose of this study is to create a better understanding for recruiters? approach and attitude to hiring individuals who only have a university degree.

BAKGRUND: Samhället blir allt mer mångkulturellt. Människor från olika delar av världen immigrerar till Sverige och det är därför av stort värde att känna till dessa människors kulturella bakgrund och trosuppfattning.  Som vårdpersonal är det viktigt att vara uppmärksam på eventuella kulturella skillnader och bemöta patienten med respekt för att skapa en god vårdrelation.SYFTE: Vårt syfte med denna litteraturöversikt var att undersöka utlandsfödda patienters upplevelse av vårdrelationen med personalen på en vårdavdelning.METOD: En litteraturöversikt gjordes där tretton artiklar granskades för att kunna sammanställa en helhetsbild av det valda ämnet.RESULTAT: De flesta patienterna i artiklarna beskriver olika svårigheter med att skapa en god relation med vårdpersonalen. Två kategorier identifierades: Att inte bli förstådd av vårdpersonal och Att inte känna sig delaktig i vårdrelationen. Från dessa två kategorier framkom fem underkategorier som beskriver på vilket sätt patienterna kände sig missförstådda eller inte kände sig delaktiga i relationen med vårdpersonalen.KONKLUSION: Det finns svårigheter att skapa en god transkulturell vårdrelation mellan patient och vårdpersonal. Patienter beskriver hur de inte alltid blev mötta med samma respekt och kulturella förståelse som de andra infödda patienterna.

The amount of cargo has since the 1970s increased in Sweden and the road traffic accounts for a large part of the transported volume. In Stockholm County the amount of cargo is calculated to be doubled in size from year 2001 to 2020 which means a greater need for transport is required. Much of these transports are being carried out by haulage companies of varying sizes which acts externally as carriers for their customers. All of this despite a greater Awareness, laws and demands regarding environmental performance.The trend shows that the haulage industry in Sweden are moving towards fewer but larger haulage companies, which means that the competition is getting tougher for the smaller haulage companies. Smaller haulage companies and research about their competitive strategies is a neglected part of this industry.

Användningen av trådlöst nätverk blev under början av 2000-talet mycket populärt bland privatpersoner, genom dess mobila fördelar, Tekniken medförde många fördelar, men också många nackdelar och frågan var hur många som verkligen hade blivit uppmärksammade på eller kände till dessa och därefter valt att skydda sina trådlösa nätverk.Det främsta syftet med denna uppsats var därmed att undersöka på vilken nivå säkerhetsmedvetandet låg i samhället vid användning av trådlöst nätverk vid gällande tidpunkt. Vidare handlade det också om att reda ut gällande rättsläge , vid handlingar mot eller via ett trådlöst nätverk, och mäta hur utbredd säkerhetsanvändningen var bland trådlösa hemmanätverk. För att besvara detta utgick vi från ett positivistiskt och deduktivt synsätt, med kvalitativa intervjuer för att reda ut gällande rättsläge, pejling av trådlöst nätverk för att mäta säkerhetsläget och kvantitativa enkätintervjuer, för att få fram typer av säkerhetsmedvetande, bland användare av trådlöst hemmanätverk. Innehållet i alla intervjuer baserades på fastställd fakta kring trådlöst nätverk, risker med tekniken, riskförebyggande säkerhetsrutiner och Svensk lag.Vi konstaterade slutligen att gällande rättsläge för närvarande var föråldrat och inte anpassat att hantera de risker som trådlöst nätverk hade medfört. Vidare visade resultatet på ökad säkerhetsanvändning bland trådlösa nätverk i samhället, och att det överlag var yngre användare som stod för denna ökning.

In Scandinavia today many old harbour areas are developed into residential and commercial areas. For example are both Helsingborg city and Malmoe city in south Sweden planning to restructure some of their harbour areas to accommodate shops, schools, offices, residences et cetera. In Copenhagen in Denmark new plans for Nordhavn is also underway. In almost every plan proposal to redevelope an old harbour area the harbour activities are set a side to give room for new development. In Reykjavik, however, this has not been the case.

I ett samhälle där upphovsrätten och immaterialrätten blir allt mer uppmärksammad är det viktigt för företag att vara medvetna om sitt innehav av licenser för mjukvaror. I detta arbete kommer företags medvetenhet om deras licenshanteringssituation att undersökas. I den här rapporten kommer problemställningen att undersökas med hjälp av intervjuer med företag. Dessa intervjuer kommer att ske via telefon och per e-post. Ett liknande arbete har tidigare inte gjorts och därför känns det relevant samt intressant att göra denna undersökning.Arbetet resulterade i intervjusvar från 11 företag.

Haemophilia is an inherited disease which causes increased bleeding due to defect clotting factors VIII and/or IX. There are two forms of haemophilia, A and B, which both are X-linked and due to mutations of the genes of factor VIII and factor IX respectively. This study focuses on Haemophilia A and thereby factor VIII.The drugs that are available on the Swedish market today for patients with haemophilia A include Factor VIII(FVIII), which has been purified from human plasma and recombinant factor VIII(rFVIII). The main goal of this study is to gain a better understanding of the effects of treatment of haemophilia A with either purified plasma factor VIII or recombinant factor VIII on reducing or preventing bleeding and on side effects.  The study was designed as a literature review and searches were carried out in PubMed at the Linnaeus University library.  The criteria for selection of articles were: patients with haemophilia, treatment with plasma derived and/or recombinant factor VIII as well as clinical studies.

In process oriented organizations, it is important to have well-functioning work processes tosupport the work being performed. In order to accomplish this, the organization has to makecertain decisions regarding the design and usage of the processes. This master thesis is based ona case study of a work process that is being used for the industrialization of products at Ericssonin Katrineholm. The aim of the study is twofold. One aim is to improve the studied process byidentifying improvement opportunities and carrying out the required adjustments.

This thesis concerns how Sweden relates to life cycle assessment (LCA) in the construction process. LCA means analyzing a products impact and the analysis includes the whole life span of the product. A building has a high complexity and the combination with its unique shape will make the LCA more comprehensive, unlike e.g. aluminum cans. Recently there has been a development of a working procedure in the construction industry.

The aim of this study was to examine self-harming women?s own experiences. To try and raise understanding and Awareness about how they themselves create their identity and meaning round the self-harming behaviour. Our three questions were; how do the young women conceive society?s reactions on their self-harming behaviour? Do the young women express an imposed or self-elected alienation? If so, in what way? In what way do the young self-harming women construe their own identity in relation to the self-harming behaviour?We have used a narrative approach when we have examined the blogs as life stories in the sense that all our lives and everything in them is a story by definition.

Background: The demand for sending letters, in the traditional aspect, has decreased because of electronic sources which have replaced a big part of letter communication. The Postal Service constantly strives for lowering costs and due to the changeable demand, a greater Awareness is required regarding recourses and their usage. The previously mentioned measures in combination with commonly occurring quality issues during the collective process at the letter terminal in Alvesta would be improved by applying a lean-perspective to the process. A first step towards saving of time is to apply the ?value stream mapping?-method on the collective process for small and large letters.Purpose: To map the process of collection for small and large letters to be able to identify waste of recourses and furthermore give suggestions on how the Postal Service would be able to reduce the waste of recourses identified.

The complex, ever growing and changing environment, requires that today's organizations are dynamic and willing to change in order to stand competitive.This Awareness has made change number one priority in almost all organizations' agenda.We live in a world that is constantly changing, yet many organizations fail to change successfully. When a change occurs in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, it immediately increases the complexity and the challenges of the change process.A complex situation may arise when, for example, partial outsourcing of the corporate information system infrastructure. Two of the most difficult challenges that organizations face today is to conduct a successful change process and managing the effect of a change, such as arising expectations. It is very common for change in an organization not to achieve the desired result or that they even fail. There may be a lot of reasons for these failures.

The capacity to process and to remember information is a basic condition for language ability and for coming reading ability. Reading ability is strongly connected to phonological Awareness, receptive vocabulary knowledge and working memory capacity. In what way hearing impairment in children affects development of cognitive skills and later on reading ability is an area that has attracted minor attention for research.The aim with this study was to investigate changes in cognitive skills and reading ability in children with mild or moderate hearing impairment after one year of progress and furthermore if any connections between any increases of the abilities were to be found. Comparisons were made with results from age adequate normal hearing children. Moreover prosodic ability on word-level was tested this year.
