Title: Care of the voice ? one part of the choir singing? The choir conductors work with children's and youths' individual voices within the choir. The purpose of this study was to examine how four different choir conductors work with children's and youths' individual voices during choir rehearsal. Further aims of this essay are to shed light upon relevant research within the topic. I used a qualitative method of researching observations with low structure and structured interviews.

We consider the meaning of leisure time for the human linguistic and cultural development of great meaning, in particular association with bilingual. We are both bilingual and have had the privilege to use and develop our knowledge likewise our experience during our education.The purpose with our school essay is to investigate what the youth tell us about their bilingual development outside School time. Our target group is Albanian-/Swedish speakers from upper secondary youth. Based on our own experience we know that upper secondary School contributes to an increasing awareness about themself and their own language and identity.In our empirical study, have we used qualitative strategy and build our interview guide on the basis of the semi structural method. Furthermore we have carried out two different group interviews which consisted each between 6-7 interviewees.

The escalating usage of pyrethroids has resulted in an increased awareness about resistance towards pyrethroids in insects. Pyrethroids inhibit voltage-sensitive sodium channels (VSSC) in nerve cell membranes and are composed of synthetic molecules based on pyrethrins present in pyrethrum extracts from Chrysanthemum species. VSSC are transmembrane proteins that are important for electric signalling over the membrane in insects. Mutations in the gene encoding the sodium channel have proved to be a common reason for resistance against pyrethroids. Pyrethroid resistance among pollen beetles is spread all over Sweden and also abroad and is increasing.

The purpose of the essay is to draw attention to my approach in relation to a boy I choose to call Emil, and how I can increase my understanding of his behavior. I explore conceivable reasons for why he breaks down so often, especially when other children are given attention. Is he simply unusually egoistic, and to a large degree only able to see to his own interests, or am I overlooking the real reasons for his actions.In order to explain the reasons for Emil?s apparent frustration in sensitive situations, I explore the significance of attachment theory. I argue about possible effects of Emil?s parents? way of describing and guiding him, as well as how I, and my colleagues, risk fulfilling and amplifying negative expectations.As the prime reason for his repeated sense of unhappiness seems linked to a lack of empathy, I explore different ways of understanding this, as well as how I might contribute to fostering compassion.

The world has changed its understanding of environmental issues dramatically and more people are showing awareness of social and environmental problems. Various stakeholders have increasingly begun to show an interest in how companies are taking responsibility for their actions. This has led to an improved activity amongst organizations to make their production consequences positive. They work with Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR). In order to communicate their responsibilities, many companies work with CSR and ethical guidelines.

Nano materials can today be found in a wide range of consumer products and the number of new products on the market is expected to inrease. In the shadow of hope for nano materilas potential in various applications, low awareness of its health and environmental risks is hiding. Furthermore, the knowledge about people´s risk perception of nano materials is limited. Parallel to the situation described above, the scholls meet the challenge of incrasing the scientific literacy. To achieve this goal, skills in argumentation in science studies has been emphasized and the concept of socio-scientific issues has been emerged.

In this two years master's thesis a regional project, Futurum.kom, is studied through the experiences of eight librarians from two of the participating libraries. The interviewees have all attended local and regional seminars where questions about core values, target groups and the role of the public library were discussed, among others. The seminars resulted in a number of core values and target groups. During the project, a number of advertising campaigns are to be conducted. The first one of these had recently been implemented at the time of the present study. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the interviewees organizational self-perception in relation to the project.

Idag börjar personliga tränare kännas igen som en stor del av friskvården och har nu uppmärksammats vara en resurs för att främja hälsa.Syftet med detta arbete är att studera personliga tränares erfarenhet av hälsa när det kommer till utbildning, sin egen hälsa och hälsa i relation till sitt yrke.Det genomfördes fem individuella intervjuer med personliga tränare för att samla in material. Intervjuerna transkriberades och resultatet tematiserades där kärncitat valdes ut för att illustrera var tema. Resultatet analyserades och diskuterades utifrån dessa teman med en teoretisk utgångspunkt komponerad genom begrepp av Pierre Bourdieu.Resultatet av intervjuerna visar på en helhetsyn av hälsa. Hälsan ses som en resurs för att kunna leva livet. Den hälsa de olika personliga tränarna upplever är något som formats under livs- och yrkeserfarenhet.

The purpose of this thesis is to, based on interviews and document studies, critically discuss how the introduction of kickboxing in Physical Education (PE) could affect gender equality in society. Based on a queer feminist and norm critical perspective on the prevailing teaching of PE, which, despite official efforts to challenge and modernize PE, persists in reproducing gender norms by e.g. spending 75% of class time on ball games. The hypothesis is that girls accessing violence (empowerment) through a bodily awareness in the form of kickboxing, positively would challenge the power imbalance that gender norms create. Girls are brought up, even today, in accordance with gender norms arguing against girls/women wanting to use their bodies as powerful tools to set limits.

AbstractIT can facilitate communication among individuals and connect people across geographical distances. On the contrary, citizens of the society who do not use communication technologies to some extent might feel excluded from the information society. As elderly citizens are already in a vulnerable position for the digital divide, communication technology becomes an important tool for interacting with friends and family. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.

The main purpose of recruiting is to find a job candidate who meets the demands of formal and informal competence at the same time as the candidate should be seen as the right person to the right place. Several job advertisements in the areas of finance and administration has at least two years of work experience as a demand before individuals can be seen as an appropriate job-candidate, hence it becomes a sort of ?catch-22? for graduates with no prior work experience. The purpose of this study is to create a better understanding for recruiters? approach and attitude to hiring individuals who only have a university degree.

BAKGRUND: Samhället blir allt mer mångkulturellt. Människor från olika delar av världen immigrerar till Sverige och det är därför av stort värde att känna till dessa människors kulturella bakgrund och trosuppfattning.  Som vårdpersonal är det viktigt att vara uppmärksam på eventuella kulturella skillnader och bemöta patienten med respekt för att skapa en god vårdrelation.SYFTE: Vårt syfte med denna litteraturöversikt var att undersöka utlandsfödda patienters upplevelse av vårdrelationen med personalen på en vårdavdelning.METOD: En litteraturöversikt gjordes där tretton artiklar granskades för att kunna sammanställa en helhetsbild av det valda ämnet.RESULTAT: De flesta patienterna i artiklarna beskriver olika svårigheter med att skapa en god relation med vårdpersonalen. Två kategorier identifierades: Att inte bli förstådd av vårdpersonal och Att inte känna sig delaktig i vårdrelationen. Från dessa två kategorier framkom fem underkategorier som beskriver på vilket sätt patienterna kände sig missförstådda eller inte kände sig delaktiga i relationen med vårdpersonalen.KONKLUSION: Det finns svårigheter att skapa en god transkulturell vårdrelation mellan patient och vårdpersonal. Patienter beskriver hur de inte alltid blev mötta med samma respekt och kulturella förståelse som de andra infödda patienterna.

The amount of cargo has since the 1970s increased in Sweden and the road traffic accounts for a large part of the transported volume. In Stockholm County the amount of cargo is calculated to be doubled in size from year 2001 to 2020 which means a greater need for transport is required. Much of these transports are being carried out by haulage companies of varying sizes which acts externally as carriers for their customers. All of this despite a greater awareness, laws and demands regarding environmental performance.The trend shows that the haulage industry in Sweden are moving towards fewer but larger haulage companies, which means that the competition is getting tougher for the smaller haulage companies. Smaller haulage companies and research about their competitive strategies is a neglected part of this industry.

Användningen av trådlöst nätverk blev under början av 2000-talet mycket populärt bland privatpersoner, genom dess mobila fördelar, Tekniken medförde många fördelar, men också många nackdelar och frågan var hur många som verkligen hade blivit uppmärksammade på eller kände till dessa och därefter valt att skydda sina trådlösa nätverk.Det främsta syftet med denna uppsats var därmed att undersöka på vilken nivå säkerhetsmedvetandet låg i samhället vid användning av trådlöst nätverk vid gällande tidpunkt. Vidare handlade det också om att reda ut gällande rättsläge , vid handlingar mot eller via ett trådlöst nätverk, och mäta hur utbredd säkerhetsanvändningen var bland trådlösa hemmanätverk. För att besvara detta utgick vi från ett positivistiskt och deduktivt synsätt, med kvalitativa intervjuer för att reda ut gällande rättsläge, pejling av trådlöst nätverk för att mäta säkerhetsläget och kvantitativa enkätintervjuer, för att få fram typer av säkerhetsmedvetande, bland användare av trådlöst hemmanätverk. Innehållet i alla intervjuer baserades på fastställd fakta kring trådlöst nätverk, risker med tekniken, riskförebyggande säkerhetsrutiner och Svensk lag.Vi konstaterade slutligen att gällande rättsläge för närvarande var föråldrat och inte anpassat att hantera de risker som trådlöst nätverk hade medfört. Vidare visade resultatet på ökad säkerhetsanvändning bland trådlösa nätverk i samhället, och att det överlag var yngre användare som stod för denna ökning.

In Scandinavia today many old harbour areas are developed into residential and commercial areas. For example are both Helsingborg city and Malmoe city in south Sweden planning to restructure some of their harbour areas to accommodate shops, schools, offices, residences et cetera. In Copenhagen in Denmark new plans for Nordhavn is also underway. In almost every plan proposal to redevelope an old harbour area the harbour activities are set a side to give room for new development. In Reykjavik, however, this has not been the case.
