Due to the climate change natural disasters expects to increase and in some areas the conditions for dissemination of hazardous pollutants from contaminated areas could be affected. Different inventories and mapping has been made to identify areas of risk for flood or Avalanche around the country. At the same time inventory and treatment of potential polluted areas (MIFO objects) is progressing. In Ljungans run of area in Västernorrlands county is a exposed area due to the amount of clay and silt in the ground that are sensitive in the context Avalanche. The area has also a lot of MIFO objects and risks of flood.This essay aims to investigate what data material that is available regarding MIFO objects, flood- and Avalanche risks in Ljungans run of area in Västernorrlands county.

English title: Julia and the elite. A study of how the Internet hatred developed into a media Avalanche.Introduction: During February 2013 Swedish media flooded with news of online hate directed towards women after an episode of Uppdrag Granskning on SVT (2013). Female media profiles were given the opportunity to tell the entire Swedish population about the hate and threats they had been exposed to online. In this thesis we want to investigate what topics end up on the media´s agenda, how a piece of news is developed and framed.Questions: How does a piece of news considered highly newsworthy develop from when it first appears in the media until it gradually disappears? How and why did Internet hatred end up on the media´s agenda? How does the media framed the Internet hatred?Theory: To be able to answer the questions formulated in this thesis, the following theories have been used: Agenda-Setting theory, framing theory, news valuation and media logic. Method: Quantitative content analysis of news broadcasts and debate shows from TV, radio and newspapers.

This report examines some common or otherwise interestingnon-cryptographic hash functions with respect to the number of collisions when used in hash tables for different types of hashkeys. The report answers which of the examined hash functions can be seen as the best performing for the chosen hashkeys. To compare the different hash functions, an experiment which studies Avalanche effect behaviour is carried out. The experiments also calculate the fraction of colliding hashkeys, and the distribution of hashkeys in hash tables is studied using Karl Pearson?schi-squared test.

The demand of nature tourism is increasing and new ways to satisfy tourists are necessary.The goal with this report was to answer that demand by exploring the possibilities for backcountry skiing north of Torneträsk. This area was chosen because it is unexplored. This hasbeen succeeded by an extensive fieldwork. Aspects like topography, routes, slope angles andgeological places of interests where recorded. The results has shown that back country skiingis well suited for this area and poses no negative impact on the natural habitat.

Arbetet har gått ut på att utveckla en lavintransceiver.En transceiver är en sändare samt mottagare i sammaenhet och är ungefär lika stor som två medelstora mobiltelefoner.Gemensamt för alla lavintransceivers är att desänder ut och kan ta emot en signal på 457 kHz som ärlagstadgad internationell standardfrekvens. Transceiversanvänds vid skidåkning utanför preparerade backar föratt kunna söka efter lavinoffer och bör bäras av var ochen i en grupp. Hamnar en eller ett par personer i gruppeni en lavin kan de resterande som klarat sig ställa om sinasändare på sökning och spåra offret i tid.Mitt skidintresse och allvaret kring laviner lockademig till att undersöka och utveckla denna utrustning.Efter flera samtal med både vana användare och personersom inte sett en transceiver ifrågasattes hela konceptetoch ny teknik som kan ersätta den gamla söktes.Många intressanta tekniker granskades och förkastadespå grund av att de inte skulle kunna ersätta den befintliga,teknikerna var för outvecklade eller passade inte i sammanhanget.När ingen teknik var överlägsen den befintliga sågranskades dagens transceivers. Ett antal punkter visadesig vara värda att se över. Ergonomi, gränssnitt och formblev huvudfokus, det vill säga hela konceptet.
