The aim of this study was to describe how nurses cope with their daily stress at work. A literature review was made to answer the research question, data was gathered from two databases; Academic Search Elite and Medline (via Pubmed). The result which was based on 20 scientific articles showed that nurses used problem-focused and emotional-focused coping strategies to deal with the stress at work. Most of the nurses used emotional-focused coping strategies by practise some kind of physical activities, avoid and take distance from the problem. Using these strategies was negative correlated with burnout and psychological health.

The purpose of this study is to examine how activities are looked upon, organized and put into practice at homes designed for the elderly. To achieve this we have done a survey study, based upon the caregiverÂŽs point of view regarding the subject activity. The result of this study has been interpreted and analyzed with help from the engagement- and disengagement theories. The result shows us that the caregiverÂŽs find the term activity slightly abstract, and rather difficult to define. All of the caregiverÂŽs did agree on the matter that it?s good to activate elderly people and that the elderly people are activated at a large extent.

In Jaunuary 1995 Sweden became part of the European Union. Consequently Sweden agreed upon beeing part of a greater integration project with influences of federalism. However, many argue that the discourse that has been been dominant in Sweden is the discourse where we focus on the national state instead of the EU. In my essay I question whether the discourse about ?nationalstatslogiken? is found in the daily press in Sweden.

Background: The difference between the market value and the book value of the companies has dramatically increased. One explanation is that the inflow of capital on the market has increased. Another explanation is that companies have a larger share of intellectual capital. The question is how this has influenced the company-valuator's use of valuation-models? Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out what relevance the substance valuation model has, the DCF-model has, and also discover new valuation-models, among company-valuators.

De har ocksÄ visat pÄ att samförstÄnd Àr av stor betydelse för en lyckad intervju. Denna uppsats syftar till att under-söka skillnader i lÀmnad information vid dominant respek-tive humanitÀr intervjustil. I studien har 30 bandade inter-vjuer med misstÀnkta gÀrningsmÀn och brottsoffer obser-verats. Polisens frÄgor har kategoriserats som antingen dominanta eller humanitÀra.

This thesis examines the USA?s response to the military coup in Myanmar 2021 through a comparative analysis of the two dominant international relations theories: realism and liberalism. The study uses a qualitative text analysis of the US Burma act of 2021 to test the explanatory power of the theories in the formulation of US policy. The results shows that liberal theory has the greater explanatory power, as the US response was systematically motivated by a normative desire to restore democracy in Myanmar. However, some realist tendencies could be observed, especially through exception clauses preserving US national security interest and the mention of China?s support for the military junta in Myanmar.

The overall aim of this study is to gain an understanding of how student?sexperiences influence their perceptions about the use of alcohol during the study years. We focused on various factors that might have an impact on the individual?sperception and alcohol intake. These are: environmental influences such as family, school and friends and their dominant norms, context such as place and time in life and how individual and social identity affects student?sperceptions.

Föreliggande uppsats behandlar oberoende skivbolags förÀndrade roll till följd avdigitaliseringen av musiken som bidragit till artisters möjlighet att sÀlja och distribuera musikutan skivbolag. Syftet med studien Àr att förklara hur oberoende skivbolag erbjudervÀrdeförslag och vad som inkluderas i dessa vÀrdeförslag nÀr det oberoende skivbolaget villattrahera nya samt behÄlla sina befintliga artister. För att besvara syftet har fyra oberoendeskivbolag intervjuats och intervjuerna har sammanstÀllts och analyserats utifrÄn Servicedominantlogic. Resultatet visar indikationer pÄ att oberoende skivbolag allt mer vÀljer attinkludera artister i den vÀrdeskapande processen nÀr vÀrdeförslag utformas. Oberoendeskivbolag vill arbeta nÀra sina artister och tillÄter artisterna att vÀlja vilka vÀrdeförslag de villta del av.

Birch is the dominant deciduous tree species in Sweden but only 16 % is found in pure birch stands. The majority of the birch (51 %) is to be found in conifer dominated stands. Swedish forest land comprises approximately of 23 % mixed stands and one problem is that for mixed stands there are few management recommendations. The underlying aim of this thesis was to study the management of mixed forest stands of spruce and birch to achieve good timber quality of birch. The study was based on a literature study and measurement in a field experiment launched in 1998 by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).

Syftet med denna undersökning Àr att studera första satsen ur Beethovens pianosonat nr 32 i c-moll, op. 111, ur ett interpretperspektiv för att dÀrigenom bidra till en fördjupad förstÄelse av verket. Min huvudsakliga metod Àr en detaljerad analys av kompositionen för att klargöra min förstÄelse av verket samt redogöra för de insikter som varit avgörande för min interpretation. Jag undersöker Àven den biografiska, kulturella och sociala kontext dÀr verket tillkommit. Resultatet visar att en djupare förstÄelse av verkets struktur och faktur Àr betydelsefull för att förtjÀnstfullt kunna interpretera verket: vikten av den fixerade ordningen av de tre förminskade septimackorden, submediantens funktion som utökad dominant samt hur huvudtemats motiv fylls med karaktÀrsmÀssigt olika uttryck relaterade till artikulation, dynamik, kompositionsteknik och stÀmdubbling kan inte underskattas.

In my essay I will study the injustice within science in movies, in this particular case: Archaeology. This essay will also examine whether there is reason to believe that there is aconnection between this unfairness and what's being displayed of the archaeologist in popular culture. In my case I have decided to focus on the movie industry because it's a dominant part of our daily life. I have chosen to explore two different groups of students studying an occupation. One is, of course, the archaeological institution at Lund University, and the other is a high school (upper secondary school) program called ?OmvÄrdnadsprogrammet? at Rönnens in Malmö.

HÀsten tolkar antagligen inte vÄra dominanstecken sÄ som vi önskar.

This study focuses on the transfer between a product-oriented to a service-oriented perspective regarding marketing activities in companies due to the development of information technology. It illustrates how this very transfer has been, and can be, contemplated through the eyes of organizations working with marketing in a digital world on a daily basis. Technology has turned several industries - their price-setting, communication channels and supplying possiblities - upside-down. This turnpoint brings out a new way of observing and working with marketing. Therefore, we find it interesting to gain a better understanding of how actors within industries where the turnpoint is a fact observes marketing, and how this service perspective can be seen in their various organizations and daily.

This study has as its purpose to reveal whether female and male entrepreneurs are offered the same kind of conditions in their role of entrepreneurs in their respective media representation. This is studied by analyzing portrayals in the magazine Entreprenör (Br.E. ?Entrepreneur?). Methodologically the analysis will be making use of textual analysis, semiotics and discourse analysis in order to expose the underlying gender perspective(s) in Entreprenör.The entrepreneur portrayals? texts and visuals will be studied in the light of gender and entrepreneur theory, and more specifically on the basis of theories about representation, discourse and stereotypes.The main conclusion of the study is that female and male entrepreneurs are not offered the same conditions in their roles of entrepreneurs in a medium such as Entreprenör.

Burnt Spine-cap SĂĄrcodon fuligĂ­neoviolĂĄceus are one the most endangered mycorrhizal fungal species in Europe. They have their main distribution in Sweden. It form mycorrhiza with pine and dependent on limestone, which makes it connected to a rare environment. It has therefore been important to study the ecology of it further and to recognise the requirement it has on the environment more accurate and what it need to establish in a new area. In this study, 31 of 34 known sites in Sweden was visited and studied in field and their history analysed through aerial photographs.
