Talking about sexuality -Medical staffs´ experiences of conversations about sexuality with patients at a cardiology unit The background of this essay is the taboo to talk about sexuality among people who suffer from some kind of illness. When a person gets ill and need medical attention, his or her life changes dramatically. The patients get treatment for their symptoms. The illness and treatment have often an influence on the patient?s sexuality.

The aim of my study is to investigate how last year students in upper secondary schoolunderstand certain mathematical concepts, in particular the unit circle and its trigonometry.I have used intentional analysis to interpret student?s actions when they solve certain tasks onthe basis of a cognitive, situated and cultural context.Interviews with four university teachers in mathematics about the unit circle, trigonometry,and mathematical understanding, serve both as background for the study and as basis for adiscussion, where I relate students understanding to what the teachers want new students toknow about these concepts when they begin university studies in mathematics.The students were arranged in three groups with three students in each group. Each group waspresented with two tasks, one in which they were asked to calculate the cosine values for onepointed, one blunt and one straight angle, each located in a separate triangle. They were alsoasked to decide whether the points (0,71; 0,71) and d (1 2 , 3 2 ) are located on the unit circleor not.My conclusion is that students mainly have an operational conception of the unit circle andtrigonometry. The lack of structural conceptions result in difficulties in seeing connectionsbetween the concepts in unfamiliar situations.

Rapporten belyser arbetet med att välja ut en transaktionsstrategi för RDB2 version 0.97. Arbetet med att välja ut denna transaktionsstrategi fokuseras på de två strategierna tvåfaslåsning samt tidsstämpelalgoritm.Ett flertal varianter av dessa transaktionsstrategier har identifierats, vilka sammanbinder olika för och nackdelar hos strategierna. De egenskaper som en transaktionsstrategi bör uppfylla för att väljas är:att lösa verifierings problemen: förlorade uppdateringar, temporära uppdateringar, felaktiga summeringar samt upprepade läsoperationeratt vara fri från deadlocksatt ha en acceptabel effektivitet nivå,att möjliggöra testning av problemen ovan, dvs användar initierade transaktioner skall vara möjligt att införa.Den strategi som valdes var en variant av tvåfaslåsning, nämligen multiversion. Denna variant löser inte problemet med förlorade uppdateringar men samtliga övriga verifieringsproblem. Varianten skulle, enligt [EN94], vara fri från deadlock, detta visades vara ett tvivelaktigt påstående.

I dagens samhälle har internet blivit en stor del av vårt dagliga liv. Nu utför man nästan alla sina ärenden på internet via olika webbplatser. Man handlar böcker, elektronik, utför bankärenden och läser nyheterna. Många antar att dessa webbplatser är säkra, men de flesta är medvetna om någon typ av hot på internet. De vet att man inte ska öppna program eller filer man inte känner igen, dock finns det fler faror.Vårt projekt går ut på att skapa en automatiserad process som visar dessa faror.

Asymptotically flat spaces are widely studied because it is one natural way of describing an isolated system in general relativity. In this thesis we study what happens to the Lanczos potential at spacelike infinity in such spacetimes. By transformations of the Weyl-Lanczos equation, we derive expressions for the limiting equations on both the timelike unit hyperboloid, and the timelike unit cylinder. Finally the Newman-Penrose formalism is used to get a component version of the equations..

Sammanfattning Fel i programvara (buggar) kostar ofantliga summor varje år. I detta arbete presenteras en metod där programexekveringsmiljön utan vare sig programmerarens eller användarens inblandning utförligt kan rapportera och dölja effekterna av en avsevärd andel buggar. Genom att kompilatorn eller tolken tillåter att en och samma procedur implementeras hur många gånger som helst införs ett helt automatiskt stöd för N-Version Programming (NVP) omedelbart i programspråket. Tekniken gör programvaran feltolerant och blir ett komplement till kostsam och ofta bristfällig testning. En tolk utvecklades för ett programspråk som tillåter multipla definitioner av procedurer.

The aim of this paper is to investigate to what degree the groups in our inquiry work independently. It is a qualitative research, which points to a well?functioning unit, that by definition is not self-governing, but has many traits of self- government. We have reached to the conclusion, that complete self?government does not have to be the best solution, if you want both quality and efficiency.

Inom dagens systemutvecklingsprojekt har testning en viktig roll för att ett företag ska kunna lyckas leverera en produkt. Testning har ofta nedprioriteras pågrund av att det största fokuset har legat på nyutveckling. Testrollen är väldigt viktig för att kunna försäkra om sin produkt är redo för marknaden. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på utmaningar och problem med testautomatiseringens startprocess i en agil systemutvecklingsmiljö. Vad företag och undersökningsföretaget som startar med testautomatiseringen kan förbereda sig på för att kunna lyckas. Undersökningen som uppsatsen bygger på har använt en induktiv ansats. Undersökningen har skett på ett undersökningsföretag som arbetar agilt inom systemutveckling.

ESAB is a world leader in production of welding consumables and equipment. The company manufactures, among other things, welding electrodes. A roller straightening unit is used in the cutting process to straighten the wire, which the welding electrode consists of, by adjusting some of the rollers during operation. According to ESAB?s standard and the European machinery directives, moving parts of machinery, such as rollers of the roller straightening unit, must be out of the operator?s reach.

This thesis has been done on a haulage contractor company named GP-Last (AB Gustav Perssons Åkeri) and the purpose with the paper was to analyse their traffic from Malmö to Stockholm and leave suggestions on efforts that GP-Last can use to increase their level of transportation quality. This has been done with two main questions, which problem do they have today and which efforts they need to do to solve their problems? Through a case study with interviews as method to collect data it showed that GP-Last had four main problems.        Not enough information about their freights. The transport planning unit in Malmö doesn?t have the exact delivery address when GP-Last begins to bring in the gods.        There are no clear routes.

The aim of this study is to examine the patient's understanding of the counselling while testing for an STI. The method was an inquiry directed to patients at two receptions, where tests for STI are made, and on the Internet for patients who made a test within the last year. The study involves 95 participants, 39 answered the inquiry directly after the test. The main results show that most participants are positive to talk about their sexuality and sexual strategies with the personnel, irrespective of who takes the initiative to the counselling. Women are yet more negative then men to talk about their sexuality, even if the test is made voluntarily by the woman.

De senaste åren har det skett en utveckling av verktyg i form av mjukvara som automatiserar testning och som utlovar att de kan förbättra kvaliteten på testningen av mjukvara och spara resurser. Trots detta är det få företag som använder sig av denna nya teknik. En orsak till att företag är avvaktande till automatiserande testverktyg är de krav som ett sådant verktyg kan tänkas ställa på utvecklingen av den mjukvara man vill testa och att dessa krav påverkar flexibiliteten i mjukvaruutvecklingen negativt. I denna rapport har vi försökt identifiera krav som automatiserande testverktyg ställer på mjukvaruutvecklingsmetoden. Vi vill också visa på tekniker för att implementera dessa verktyg på ett sätt som inte påverkar flexibiliteten i testningen negativt.

This thesis describes the redesign ofequipment designed for drying bags thatis used in Fresenius Kabis´manufacturing of their nutritionmedicine in Uppsala. The need of thistask arise during the start of thedevelopment of a new packaging line werethis equipment were meant to be used. Anevaluation of the bagdryers capacity andcapability was necessary.The work started with gathering ofinformation from suppliers of the usedcomponents and from the responsibleengineers for this equipment. Aneducation to learn how the equipmentworked and how to operate it were taken.That was followed by the creation of astudy plan were the tests were plannedto test different parameters effect onthe drying result and to see if thebagdryer managed to handle the bags ofthe correct format in the pace that theequipment should be designed for.The test results detected a need ofdesigning a unit with a function thatholds the bags in place while passingthrough the dryer in order to attainhigh quality results. The results werelater used for optimization of thedesign.

The purpose of this study is to find datable interstadial sediments in the core area of the LateWeicheslian ice sheet extent. Based on geomorphological evidence, three coring sites wereidentified close to the Ultevis plateau in Norrbotten, northern Sweden. Sediment coring wascarried out in two pre-Late Weichselian stream channels and in a sediment basin. Stratigraphyfrom one of the sites, a 100 meter wide meltwater channel, was chosen for further analysis. Thestudied core was 5,93 m long and ended in a lower till unit.
