This thesis consists of four case studies. The objective is to find out how to get a well functioning cow traffic in an automatic milking system. Different technical and building solutions are analysed and some adjustments are proposed for the DeLaval herd management software. Case study 1: Lactation chart comparison from traditional cow traffic and Feed First? cow traffic Case study 2: Farm A - a study of the precedence passage and the cow traffic Case study 3: Farm B ? an overview of the farm and their way of working Case study 4: Key factors ? how can we judge how well a VMS farm is working? The aim of this study was to examine nursing personnel?s knowledge about oral health care and attitudes towards the free assessment of the oral status done by the dental service for elderly and handicapped persons in a municipality in the south part of Skåne, and also how personnel experience the free assessment of the oral status done by the dental service and how it functioned at the facilities. The study was carried out by sending out 150 questionnaires to nursing personnel at six special housing facilities. 73% (110 personnel?s) answered the questionnaires.

The purpose of this case study was to examine consequences of a limited social citizenship among young adults in the refugee camp of DeHeishe in Palestine. In order to receive a profounder understanding of conditions and structures that affects young adult?s experiences of social citizenship, status in the community and practices a case study was carried out during April 2013.The data has been collected by triangulation, conducted through nine interviews, 52 survey forms and several observations in DeHeishe camp. The data was analyzed through the theoretical approach of social citizenship, intersectionality and the concept of ?empower-ment?.

This study examines the cultural place and status of video and computer games in the Swedish public library. Using works on popular culture and the theories of Pierre Bourdieu, this study employs quantitative methods, as well as textual analysis, to analyze the results of an online questionnaire with 19 questions focusing on selection criteria, shelf placement, perceived competence, as well as reasoning for having or not having these games in the library. 286 out of the 440 libraries contacted is participating in the study, and the libraries consist exclusively of public libraries in Sweden that are found in the database of the Royal Library.The results of this study show that a larger number of libraries than previously indicated have started to provide electronic games to their patrons. At the same time, patterns in the data and comments suggests that these games in many cases still do not enjoy the same level of cultural recognition as other media. Indicative of this is the way most libraries seem to focus on the medium being exclusively for their young patrons, with seem-ingly very little in the way of investment for adults.

The aim of this master thesis is to investigate the ideas about functions that public libraries have in the local society. We have used the method idea analysis on four municipal library plans, to find out which ideas about library functions that frequented each plan, and what similarities and differences there were between the ideas about functions in each plan. As a theoretic base, we have used a theory about three dynamic spheres in modern society: the state market and civil society, and examined how these three spheres influence and control the library functions. We have extracted six different ideas about library functions: educational, social, economical, entertaining, serving and democratic functions. The most dominating ideas in this study are ideas that the public library should be an educating and formative institution.

Bakgrund och problemAnders Hultqvist gav efter SamRoB-utredningen ett rättsutlåtande på uppdrag av branschorganisationen för revisorer och rådgivare, FAR SRS. I detta utlåtande behandlade Hultqvist frågan om företagen vid beskattning, i konstitutionellt avseende kan vara beroende av bokföringsmässiga grunder och god redovisningssed. Hultqvist lyfter fram frågan kring Bokföringsnämndens praktiska och konstitutionella ställning som central. Idén till frågeställningen i uppsatsen kommer från Hultqvist rättutlåtande och är som följer:Vilken status har Bokföringsnämnden utifrån olika aktörer?SyfteSyftet är att förtydliga Bokföringsnämndens status hos olika aktörer på området.MetodVi har i uppsatsen använt oss av den kvalitativa metoden.

Problemet som den här uppsatsen belyser är att olika grupper, till exempel lärare, politiker och fackförbund för en diskussion om läraryrkets status, utan att beskriva vad de menar med begreppet status. Syftet med den aktuella studien är att belysa vad en grupp gymnasielärare respektive representanter från Lärarnas Riksförbund lägger i begreppet yrkesstatus och ta reda på vilka faktorer de anser påverka yrkesstatusen. Vidare är syftet att ställa resultaten mot relevant forskning på området och ge förslag på hur diskussionen om lärares yrkesstatus kan sättas in i ett större perspektiv kopplat till skolutveckling. Undersökningen bygger på en textanalys av debattartiklar från Lärarnas Riksförbunds hemsida och en enkät som gymnasielärare svarat på. Både textanalysen och enkäten har en kvantitativ och en kvalitativ del.

I min uppsats har jag som syfte att analysera och diskutera hur tre av mig utvalda kvinnor i Gamla testamentet tolkas förhålla sig till de gammaltestamentliga patriarkala maktstrukturerna, samt undersöka vilken status och vilka roller dessa kvinnor har tillskrivits. För att besvara frågorna i mitt syfte så har jag undersökt hur forskare inom religionsvetenskapen tolkar följande tre kvinnor ur Gamla testamentet: Mirjam, Rut och Ester. Två av dess kvinnor, Rut och Ester, är så betydelsefulla att de i Gamla testamentet blivit tillägnade varsin bok. Den tredje kvinnan Mirjam, som är syster till Mose, uppfattas som viktig i judendomens tillblivelse, eftersom att det var Mirjam som lade ut Mose i vassen och på grund av sin handling räddade livet på judendomens religionsstiftare. Uppsatsen är en litteraturstudie, där jag använder mig av den hermeneutiska tolkningsmetoden.

This bachelor thesis in tourism studies focuses on people's use of social media related to travel. The paper aims to provide a wider knowledge of tourist?s propensity to display destinations through social media and how they perceive others that display travelling. This is put in relation to the term of social status in order to find out if there is a possible link. The intention was to provide an insight into the phenomenon to contribute new awareness that destinations can exploit in their marketing.

This study aims to investigate the domestic and work organization at the mansions located in the south of Västmanlands county years 1705-1849. The study takes into account the manors' size, ownership, owners' status and social changes. The study includes both large manors with noble owners and smaller manors with bourgeois owners.  The study examines how the households were formed, how they changed over time and how thet may have links to the Manor's ownership and size. The organization of labour is studied on the basis of how it changed over time and what it may have links to the owners ' status and the manors size. The focus is to answer how the connection was between household size, its composition, organization of labour and the owner?s status in the society.  Also if a difference can be seen between the strategies of the noble owners compared to the bourgeois owners..

The way in which media discusses religion has changed over time. Due to the separation of state and church in 2000, the Swedish state to a lesser extent legitimizes its political ruling with references to religious concepts. As a result, a higher tolerance towards religious minorities can be said to have taken place. This is an ambiguous change however, where critique raised towards religious practices and expressions of minorities also occurs to a higher extent. The public debate is in large part conducted through the media, but is also seen to be produced and reproduced through the media?s discourse.

What can make us identify ourselves with places? Why do we feel stronger for certain environments? Is it possible to change the identity and how can we do it? What exactly is building identity on a site, what elements it is safest to hang on to when the wind of change is blowing? In this paper, I?m going to discuss the subject identity in different ways and from different angles. Important questions I have had, has been how to analyze a site and what is the importance of identity and the possibility of changing it?The first part of the paper aims to provide an introduction to the concept of identity. I'm giving a short explanation of what identity is and how places relate to identity.

Vi vill med denna studie bidra till att förstå hur barns status och popularitet påverkas av kläder i grundskolan. Våra resultat visar att kläder påverkar popularitet och status i ett komplext samspel med andra faktorer, såsom beteende och umgänge. Kläder börjar bli viktigt för status och popularitet någon gång under mellanstadiet. Det är då barnen börjar bry sig om sin egen, och andras, klädsel. Bullying and harassment is a common phenomenon that usually is associated with schools, but bullying among adults at workplaces is not as much discussed. Previous research shows that discrimination occurs in various social areas because of the individual's gender and ethnicity. Based on this there was a reason to suppose that bullying, which is a form of vulnerability, could also depend of belonging to a particular social category. The aim of this study was to get knowledge about the correlation between bullying at the workplace and concurrent collaboration of class, gender and ethnicity. The results of this quantitative study show that there is no correlation between the simultaneous interaction of gender, class and ethnicity towards bullying and harassment.
