This paper describes the design and implementation of an automated build system for the JAS39A simulator FUS39A at HiQ:s offices in Arboga. The assignment was to automate the process in which modules are built; the simulator is composed of a number of modules which are built manually at the end of each week, this process takes about a day of manual labor. The system can automatically build a module as either a scheduled service or by manual invocation. The system contains functionality for reporting the build results to any given recipient by e-mail. The purpose of the system is to free up the time put into manually building the modules for better suited tasks by automating the build of FUS39A.The assignment was split into two parts, an analysis part where information of the old system was gathered, tools and methods were chosen and the new system was designed.

This essay is about two Swedish folk musicians, Anders Rosén and Leif Stinnerbom, who have been playing two important rolls in the developing process of Swedish folk music, on their separate ways. The main part of this work is focused on the era called ?The Folk Music Vogue?, which was the era when my informants were in the limelight on the Swedish fiddler scene of the 70s.Our music culture is constantly lying under the change of progress and I find it interesting to reflect how these kinds of changes are affecting the role of the musician.In this essay I am reflecting on the different perspectives of the musicianship according to my informants and how they both are referring to their role as musicians. The purpose is further on to see how they have been relating to the change of progress on the field of the Swedish folk music during the 70s and up to this date. Throughout interviews with the informants I am analyzing their personal relationship to their life as folk musicians.

This thesis is about developing a design that provides improved vacuum seal between a lead coating and a plastic coating during plastic extrusion processes of cables. This report is a part of the course MSGC 17 for Bachelor Engineers in mechanical engineering.The work is performed at Nexans Norway AS in Halden where they have a production of high voltage cables for sea-, and offshore industry. A problem they face is that they do not get enough good seal at the attachment to the plastic extrusion machine. They want to achieve a vacuum between a lead coating on the cable and a plastic coating of the cable for plastic extrusion, which is something they do not achieve today. The thesis is thus to come up with a design that provides better sealing against the cable.The work involves a construction part with the phases of product development processes.

Since feeding fodder crops to dairy cows is a heavy and time-consuming but often disregarded line of work, this study wishes to view the different possibilities that are currently available to decrease the time to feed and apply this knowledge on an existing farm. For this purpose, four farms have been studied due to what feeding systems that are currently used and how long time the feeding required. The occurring systems are either mobile, i.e. a feed mixer operated by a tractor witch feeds the cattle via a drivable fodder table, or a stationery mixer, i.e. an electrically powered mixer which fills an automatic feeder.

I focus on the informants' television viewing and I compare this cross-generational, and in relation to other media use. Material/Method: The method I used in this thesis is qualitative interviews. My choice fell on this method because I believe it to be the most suitable for obtaining the data needed.

Huvudsyftet med det här examensarbetet är att se om det finns ett skäl eller behov att skapa ett serviceföretag inom IT och finna affärsmodeller för detta företag. Vidare avses utvärdera dagslägets hantering av IT hos små till medelstora företag. IT har blivit viktigt för företagsverksamheten men kan lätt försummas i mindre och medelstora företag Vi vill genom en marknadsundersökning se om det finns ett behov av ett serviceföretag. Därtill genom en undersökning av existerande teknologi och öppen mjukvara utvärdera om ett serviceföretag kan skapas för hantering av IT hos dessa företag. I vår undersökning fann vi vissa företag som är intresserade av vår lösning och vi fick svar på en del av våra frågor om hur situationen ser ut för företag inom Gävleborgsområdet.

Arbetet bygger på att de informationssystem som används idag men som blir allt äldre och därigenom inte klarar de krav som ställs på dem. Detta medför att informationssystemen måste migreras till modernare plattformar, då företagen dels inte klarar sig utan dess nuvarande funktionalitet och dels måste vidareutveckla systemen.Detta arbete tar upp olika sätt som detta kan genomföras på och vilka problem som kan komma att uppstå när detta sker. För att kunna undersöka detta så genomfördes ett antal migrationer. Språken som migrationen kommer att ske mellan är Visual Basic 6 och Visual Basic .net. Migrationerna kommer att ske med hjälp av ett migrationsverktyg, samt ett ramverk som i arbetet skräddarsys för just arbetets typ av migrationer.Det arbetet kommer fram till är att det sker problem vid användande av ett verktyg och även att det inte ger tillräckligt med respons på vad som gått snett under migrationerna..

På senare år har man i dags- och fackpress kunnat läsa om att den yngre generationen som äntrar arbetsmarknaden är ovilliga att ta chefsjobb. Man har kunnat läsa om att de som faktiskt gör det har sämre hälsa, är mer stressade och saknar befogenheter i högre grad än äldre chefer. Unga chefers ledarskap skiljer sig från traditionellt ledarskap och unga ställer andra krav på sin arbetssituation och på chefsrollen. Unga människor födda mellan slutet av 70- och 90-talet har helt andra värderingar än äldre som värdesatte hårt arbete, sparande och trygghet i livet.Generation Y, som den unga generationen har kommit att kallas, uppskattar fritid och frihet allt högre. De har kallats lata, bortskämda och krävande men också välutbildade, ambitiösa och socialt ansvarstagande.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att via kvalitativa intervjuer komma fram till vad det är som driver personer som jobbar inom traditionella hantverksyrken till att gå till jobbet.Det empiriska material som ligger till grund för denna undersökning bygger på 6kvalitativa halvstrukturerade intervjuer av hantverkare och 2 kvalitativa intervjuer medtjänstemän som tidigare i sitt yrkesverksamma liv har arbetat med samma yrken som deövriga 6 intervjupersonerna..

This report covers the conceptual design of a new one person hybrid vehicle that is to be fast and convenient to drive on the roads. The vehicle is most of all supposed to be used as a commute vehicle but can also be used at other occasions as well.During the work with this project the group has focused on three larger areas, the outer design (body), wheel chassis and an ergonomically designed interior. The group was not able to just create these parts in 3D to get a trustworthy vehicle, hence number of other components and details were also created to get a better entirety.The outer design starts with idea generation and sketches and ends with a 3D model which is rendered to show how the final product is going to look. The design of the body has been going on during the entire work process due to new ideas and improvements that seemed interesting and had to be changed.The wheel chassis also started with idea generation, research and sketches. It ended up with a simulated 3D model which later on was mounted on the vehicle body to show how the vehicle is going to perform during usage.

Nynas produces bitumen at two refineries in Sweden. The bitumen is shipped to seven depots along the swedish coast line, and from the depots special trucks handle the transportation to customers. Recently Nynas has transformed its supply chain and closed down a few depots. At the moment the company is considering a further reduction of the number of depots. In connection to these discussions an analyse of the companys distributionsystem and of possible changes is required.

Many grocery stores have products marked whit there private brands. The information about these brands is poor. We wanted to find out what the stores own brands stand for and what the manager of purchase thinks it stands for. We choose to concentrate on meat and cured meat and limit our study to ICA, Axfood and Coop because they are the three main actors in the Swedish branch of grocery. The supplier has traditionally manufactured products and made there own brands. These products have been distributed and sold to the consumer thru stores.

This master thesis work was done at Saab Underwater Systems AB, a company at the cutting edge of underwater technology. Here torpedoes and other underwater vehicles are developed and manufactured. The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

Företag inom modebranschen står i dag inför en ökande konkurrenssituation. På grund av globaliseringen och interaktionen mellan kunder över internet, är konsumenterna idag mer medvetna än tidigare. Den största faktorn bakom den nya medvetenheten är den generation av unga människor som växt upp i en digitaliserad värld, benämnd som Generation Y. Företag får kämpa för att få konsumenternas uppmärksamhet och situationen beskrivs som ett marknadsföringskrig. Många marknadsförare misslyckas med att nå fram till konsumenterna med traditionella marknadsföringsverktyg som; reklam, PR, direktmarknadsföring och personlig försäljning.

Människan är en social varelse och socialisering är ett el­e­mentärt och komplex mellan­mäns­k­ligt sam­spel, som först och främst formas i den fa­mil­jära sfären. Då syftet med denna studie har varit att vidga förståelsen kring det sociala fenomenet ondska ? började vi vår resa med att distan­sera oss från fenomenet för att istället fokusera på vad som händer i socialiseringens vagga. Det pro­blema­tiskt funna är att människor numera är mer asocialt responslösa än socialt respon­si­va vilket innebär att män­nisk­or mer än någonsin finns för att fungera i härskande sam­­hälle­liga sys­tem än att finnas till för varandra. Och följden, den nutida människan socialiserar och socialiseras in i emotio­nellt lidande och skapar en förträngd medvetenhet som förs vidare från generation till generation, något som i bäs­ta fall leder till ytterligheter.
