Background: In Sweden, heart transplantation increases as a method of treatment. Patients undergoing heart transplantation require special needs of care. Nurses have to increase knowledge about experiences that these patients percieve to conform the health care in the future. In this study, health science has been used as a theoretical frame of reference which includes a patient perspective.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe experiences among patients, elder than 18 years old, undergoing heart transplantation.Method: The method was a qualitative descriptive study with a context analysis based on ten scientific articles and an Autobiography corresponding with the aim of the study.Results: The results of this study showed six themes about experiences that emerged among patients undergoing heart transplantation: feeling of vitality, existential crisis, importance of social support, destructive feelings, capacity of going on and the experience of quality of life.Conclusion: It?s not a guarantee that the quality of life will increase among patients undergoing heart transplantation and they need a specialist trained nurse available to support at all hours..

The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of women who have been abused by their partners. The study also examines how violence takes shape in a relationship. Based on a qualitative text analysis of three autobiographies and one novel, we have obtained the material for this study. The three selected autobiographies are; "I have not told you everything" by Jessie Andersson, "The nightmare" by Maria Dahlén and "It would be a pleasure to kill you" by Magdalena Graaf and the novel "Hidden" by Liza Marklund. Dessa individer påverkades inte bara fysiskt negativt, det var även en påfrestning för välbefinnandet. För vissa individer sågs GBP som deras sista möjlighet till ett hälsosamt livSyfte: Syftet med studien är att belysa vad patienter upplever ökar hälsan i sin vardag efter en Gastric Bypass.Metod: Fem självbiografier analyserades med hjälp av en kvalitativ analys beskriven av Dahlborg-Lyckhage.Resultat: Analysen visade på vikten av ett adekvat stöd för en känsla av ökat välbefinnande. In this study I have met three authors in a dialogue seminar on their literary work. The discussion, starting from texts by Lacan and Socrates, revolved around the dichotomy of personal and private, and how to benefit from personal material in one?s literary work. The three authors reflected on the writer Karl Ove Knausgård and the photographer Sally Mann, who both are working with their own immediate family as a motif. In Knausgård, you can find a strong and self-dissecting writer persona as a medium of creating recognition in the readers mind.

In this essay I examine the auto fictive self in Jeanette Wintersons Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit. I do this through a close reading of the novel using Mieke Bals narratological terms;narrator, story, fabula, time and order. These narratological terms have been merged together with central themes of the book. I look at the readers understanding of the novel, the relation between fairytale and realism, symbols, intertextuality, the mother-daughter relationship and silences and I analyze these themes in their relation to autofiction and the auto fictive self.  Gemma Lopez Seductions and Narratives has been a key reference, mainly her theories on self-creation in narratives, and the construction of the self, trough language. The narrative is the place where the self can transgress and reshape, which gives the narrative a subversive power. I analyze this presumed power, and look at how the story shapes an opportunity for the subject to see itself.

Självskadebeteendet används ofta som en copingstrategi för att hantera och lindra psykisk smärta och ångest, men kan även vara ett rop på hjälp. Handlingarna väcker ofta starka känslor, såsom ilska, maktlöshet och antipati, hos sjukvårdspersonal. Patientgruppen upplevs ofta svår att ge bra vård till och patienterna utsätts för mycket tvångsvård och tvångsåtgärder. Syfte: Syftet är att belysa hur patienter med självskadebeteende upplever bemötandet i vården.
