The objective of the study is to map the cognitive structure of Library and Information Science, using a quantitative, bibliometric method. This empirical study shows how co-citation analysis combined with word-frequency analysis can be used to describe the subject content of the field. The research questions to be answered are: -Which clusters of Authors can be identified? -How can these clusters be described in respect of their subject content, if the descriptors associated with the Authors in the clusters are counted? The results show that the cognitive structure of Library and Information Science can be described by 13 clusters of Authors, where each cluster is representing a specific aspect of the subject- domain. Purpose Based on the new comprehensive income due to changes in IAS 1, the Authors aim to describe how a listed corporate accounting is affected by IAS 1 and the new income statement.Methodology This study uses an inductive approach with a combination of qualitative and quantitative data, using financial rapports from the investment company Latour. This case study is based on Latour?s all published financial statements under the period 2008 to 2012.Result The study resulted in different observations of Latour's operational and financial performance, share price trends as well as ratios. This report is a thesis on requests from Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) in autumn of 2012. The goal of this work was to study the feasibility of creating and implementing an Equalized preventive maintenance program in SMC maintenance operations and reduce downtime for preventive maintenance (PM). To investigate whether this was possible, the Authors studied the current procedures for the PM. The Authors have collected and analyzed all relevant information within the maintenance department reporting system as well as through interviews determined whether it is practical to introduce a Equalized PM programs. The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of the immigrant-writer. By studying the literary criticism on four debutants, all of whom have been categorised as immigrant-writers, I have come to the conclusion that the critics tend to focus on the Authors' otherness. By using postcolonial theory I've analysed the role as representatives of a supposed other reality that is imposed on these four Authors by the literary critics. The theories of Pierre Bourdieu, especially his concepts of symbolic capital, literary field and position, have been used to contextualise these conclusions. Although the otherness that the critics accentuate seems to work as a negative symbolic capital in a bigger societal perspective, in the author's position within the literary field it grows their positive symbolic capital.

Survey´s purpose is to illustrate why and how the process happened, when the seferades had to move from Spain in the last years of 15th century to the Ottoman Empire and how the Authors have discussed this. How the seferades were treated by the Turks and the sultan, how teh Jews taught the people in the empire, to use the new innovations. The different results showed that the ottomans also gave great chances to the Jews and they became a powerful group of the palace in the empire.The results also showed that the Authors are divided into two groups, one group defending the sultans act, and the others are not. The main reason for the ottomans to open their doors for the seferades was to take advantage of their konwledge. The reason for the attack by the western Authors on the sultan´s decisions, are more complex and needs to be explained.

The aim of this essay is to see how various texts, both Swedish and foreign, have described the former Swedish colony of St. Bartholomew. The focus has been on the slaves on the colony, and here how they were treated and how the analyzed Authors portray the slaves lives.The literature has been divided up into two different categories, based on when they were published. The distinction has been made by dividing them up into a contemporary cluster, that were published before the 1900?s, as opposed to the more recent literature, from after the 1900?s.

During the last years the number of Swedish detective stories which take place in the province outside the big cities has increased enormously. In this study I have analysed the novels by the three Authors Viveca Sten, Åsa Larsson and Johan Theorin to investigate the connection between the milieu and the story and in what way it is involved in the crime riddle.They all keep to the formula of the classical detective story but represent different variations within this formula. In spite of the differences in their stories the basic pattern is the same. As their protagonists the Authors are emotionally connected to the place in the novels. This connection it strengthen by the Authors themselves as well as the publishing companies when introducing them on the market.
