Unaccompanied minors who are fleeing and being sent way from their countries of origin are nothing new. In 2011, 12 225 unaccompanied minors where registered in The European Union, none undocumented minors included. Most of the minors are coming from Afghanistan and Somalia. The aim of this essay is to investigate how The European Union?s migration policies are applied in reality and how United Nation?s Convention on the Right of Children are put in practice by the member states of The European Union and Norway.

Nature conservation issues are often complex and difficult to handle. Different actors andinterests are involved and it is generally agreed that constructive interaction is a crucialpart of dealing with these issues. According the theory which forms the basis of this thesis,conflict is defined as social interaction during which the actors trust in the interaction isdecreasing. Signs of conflict and diminished trust in the interaction are that these actorsmake attempts to change the situation and some of these attempts can lead to increasedconflict.The aim of this thesis is to describe the social interaction that takes place when peoplemove from conflict to dialogue. A qualitative case study of a nature conservation issue inÖstra Vätterbranterna, an area east of Lake Vättern, is presented.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the social worker?s perspective on working for the government as a professional in care of children, in relation to the family's right to self determination. The essay's empirical material is gathered from qualitative, semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with children and youth in communities and districts in Skåne and Stockholm City, Sweden. The analysis was conducted in line with theories of social constructivism. The results and analysis show that the interviewed social workers did not believe that the state has too much power over the citizen.

In this study the semi structured interview method was used to explore what kind of knowledge one In State Authority: The Migration Board, and three Non Governmental Organisations: Red Cross, Save the Children and ISS- International Social Service have about the situation for separated children. Another purpose in this study was to explore if people who are close to the children are working for the best of the children and if their cases were treated with legal security. The result shows that the children?s cases are not treated with legal security and some of the children suffer psychologically from separations from the families and other children need new families because they were maltreated. The result also shows that there are signs that separated children are discriminated compared to children with a Swedish background..

Computer games is a growing market with over millions of players that are playing and/or enjoying the play of games on a daily basis. The nerdy gamers that once were, are now becoming professional athletes in the virtual world called eSport. We have identified a lack of studies in this area which implies that there is little data of what it is. In this paper we have focused on the phenomena that is eSport and more closely on the game series Starcraft made by Blizzard Entertainment. Our focus lies in the game series Starcraft and eSport organisations mainly outside South Korea.

 Abstract: Facebook in the Public Sector - qualitative interviewstudy with The Swedish maritime Administration, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, the Swedish prison and Probation services and the municipality of Katrineholm about their precense on Facebook.In my bachelor?s thesis I have studied how three government authority and one municipality uses or don?t use Facebook in their communication towards the citizens. I have chosen to study four different cases, to see if there are any significant similarities or differences between how the different services are working with their communication. I have chosen to explore my cases through semi-structured qualitative interviews, where I met communications officers of every organisation face to face.I have found out that there is not one right way to communicate through Facebook, every organisations decisions must be based on their own mission, aims and objectives. And I have seen that both the transmitter and the receiver need to mature into the new acting of this new channel - Facebook..

During the last decades the evolution of information technology and the increasing ability to access information have been discussed in many ways. In the beginning the focus was on the technology but now the discussion is more and more about the use of information and how to develop knowledge out of it. There is an ongoing discussion about the difference between knowledge and information. The subject of this Master s thesis is to find out if and how the Swedish elementary school has written into its mission statements to help the pupils to become information literate. For this purpose I have examined literature about information literacy and pedagogic as well as legislation and other documents that control how the Swedish elementary schools work.

Transfer pricing has attracted considerable interest among tax authorities in recent years. One of the reasons for this is that various countries have now begun to protect their own tax bases to a greater extent than they did in the past. Sweden has introduced a law on the documentation on the grounds that the tax office to review the pricing of transactions that occur within multinational corporations. The purpose of the law is that companies should apply a transfer pricing that meet arm's length principle, which means that internal pricing reflects market prices. The EU Commission has, together with the EU member states formed a Forum, the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum (JTPF), since cross-border trade within groups constitute a threat to the internal market. AbstractThis essay contains a comparison between principals and supervisors within the Health-care and is focused on their view regarding their own leadership. It contains a comparison between their respective models for leadership and how to evolve as a leader within these two organizations.The study is carried out as in dept interviews with four principals and four supervisors.The results show that the principals have a sufficient education and a broad network, but they need the opportunity to a personal development within their leadership. On the other hand, within the Health-care, the supervisors stand on a good base of education where focus lies on the personal development within the leadership. However, they need more opportunities to build up their networks.The conclusion that can be drawn is that these two organisations would gain on learning from each other, in order to establish as good conditions as possible to improve the leaderships within their own organization..

Syftet med denna undersökning var att utifrån en kvantitativ ansats beskriva och undersöka huruvida en organisations jämställdhetsarbete kan anses som framgångsrikt mot bakgrund av vad olika teorier framhåller om vad ett gott jämställdhetsarbete är. Uppsatsen bygger på en enkätundersökning som genomfördes inom en offentlig verksamhet. Teorin utgick från sex olika teman om vad ett gott jämställdhetsarbete bör innehålla, lärande i samband med förändringsarbete samt tidigare forskning. Resultatet visar de svårigheter som kan förekomma med att genomföra ett jämställdhetsarbete som ska leva upp till jämställdhetslagens krav. Undersökningen visar att det finns tendenser till att låg delaktighet och dålig kommunikation inom verksamheten försvårar implementeringsprocessen..

Litteraturen visar att för att kunna förbättra kvalitén på en tjänst måste organisationen definiera hur tjänstekvalitén uppfattas av kunden. Kundfokusering är ett viktigt verktyg för att kunna styra en organisations strävan efter kvalitetsförbättring. Denna studie behandlar hur ett nytt ersättningssystem inom hemvården kan inverka på kundens uppfattning av tjänstekvalitén. Studien visar att ett nytt ersättningssystem som bidrar till att förändra vårdbolagens förutsättningar och därmed tjänsteprocessen får effekt på tjänstekvalitén.

Förmågan att i dagens organisationer effektivt genomföra och arbeta med förändringar betonas i allt högre utsträckning. Mot bakgrund av detta och på grund av vårt intresse för kvinnligt ledarskap har vi gjort en undersökning för att få förståelse för om och, i så fall, hur en organisations förändringsarbete påverkas om det är en kvinnlig alternativt en manlig ledare. Vi har använt oss av befintlig teori inom ledarskap och förändring, medan den empiriska studien, i form av intervjuer, genomfördes på två företag där två av personerna har en kvinnlig ledara och de andra två en manlig ledare. Resultatet som vi kom fram till var att det fanns vissa skillnader i kvinnligt respektive manligt ledarskap vid förändring, men att likheterna könen emellan trots allt var övervägande..

Problemformulering: . Idag såväl som historiskt har chefspositionerna dominerats av män, vilket har resulterat i att de flesta människor förknippar en ledare med en man. På den svenska arbetsmarknaden innehar män sammanlagt 71 procent av alla chefspositioner (SCB 2008). Framgångsrika ledare beskrivs således ofta av vad som vanligtvis associeras med maskulinitet. Den maskulina könsmärkningen av ledarskapet har bland annat bidragit till att minska kvinnliga chefers handlingsutrymme att utöva ledarskap jämfört med män.

The object of the essay was to investigate the argumentation in the bill, the comments from unions and the authorities, among others and the motions concerning the bill. To analysis this argumentation I have been using feminist theory, specifically Carole Lee Bacchis ?What?s the problem?-aproach. I also used Maud Eduards and Diane Sainsbury to complete my theory. They describe men as the norm of the society and women as deviant.
