ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to describe various methods of treatment and effects of treatment of ADHD, and to investigate wheater there is an association between adults with ADHD and obesity. Method:  Literature review. Twelve quantitative scientific articles were found in the data bases PubMed, Cinahl and MedLine.  Result: ADHD is a cognitive impairment that can lead to serious complications such as obesity. Studies show that drug treatments of adults with ADHD have positive effects in terms of reduced symptoms, increased efficiency and improved quality of life, but drugs can also cause side effects in form of loss of appetite and insomnia. For adults with ADHD and obesity drugs that affect metabolism have a significant impact on patients ability to lose weight.

Aim: The purpose of this study is to increase the knowledge around the location?s importance when rent setting office premises. Furthermore, I want to get broader knowledge about the real estate market as a whole when since it is of current interest.Method: The study is performed with the aid of qualitative interviews on persons with experience of office premises in Stockholm city. Theoretical dates mainly have been gathered via literature and the Internet. Then I have put together the interviews in order so that I finally can analyze empiric with theory.Result & conclusions: The results that have been achieved with this essay are how the concept location has been used within the real estate sector, also how important long-term thinking is when letting of premises, not only office premises.Suggestions for future research: Future studies can increase my study with more interviews, with for example real-estate owners.

VD:n för spelindustrins intresseorganisation (Interactive Digital Software Association) förutspår i den årliga State of the Industry rapporten för åren 2000 ? 2001, att spelindustrin snart kan nå 70 procent av världens hushåll, vilket gör spelmaskinen, näst intill, lika vanlig som videon. I denna dag börjar många spelutbildningar växa fram i hela landet, så som i Karlshamn, Visby och Kramfors. Trots denna tillväxt finns det nästan ingen akademisk forskning i ämnet speldesign. Detta gör att hjulet i många fall tvingas återuppfinnas om och om igen. I detta kandidatarbete är huvuddiskussionen hur man designar ett spel innehållande både spelfrihet och en färdig berättelse, vilket är en konflikt i sig. Vi försöker identifiera kärnan av ett spels design genom att samarbeta med både användare och designers av digital underhållning och sätta detta i relation till de studier av spel vi gjort.

Bakgrund: Internet och sociala medier är idag en naturlig del av människors vardag och företag lägger allt mer av sin marknadsföringsbudget på att synas i digitala plattformar. Sociala medier har blivit en viktig marknadsföringskanal för e-handelsföretag, vilket har visat sig innebära både möjligheter och hinder. Vidare har tidigare forskning lyft fram goda kundrelationer som en viktig komponent för företags framgång. Samtidigt som det har framkommit att det finns en skillnad mellan hur e-handlare gentemot den traditionella butikshandeln kan skapa relationer med sina kunder, då köpare och säljare aldrig får möjlighet till att mötas ansikte-mot-ansikte.Syfte:Avsikten med denna studie är att analysera hur e-handelsföretag använder sig av sociala medier och huruvida dessa medier möjliggör för e-handlarna att skapa och utveckla kundrelationer. Syftet med studien är även att bidra med rekommendationer för hur e-handelsföretagen kan skapa och utveckla kundrelationer via sociala medier, samt att identifiera och analysera de hinder som begränsar e-handlares användning av sociala medier.Metod:Författarna för denna uppsats har valt att använda sig av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod för att generera en djupare kunskap och analys för forskningsområdet.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how venture capitalists implement ESG issues internally, as well as before the investment decision and during the investment period.Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework consists of previous studies that identify different driving forces behind the work of the ESG and present a number of different strategies for implementing ESG issues in the investment process.Method: This study aims at providing an understanding of a phenomenon which implies an inductive approach. This thesis applies a qualitative method of data collection in the form of semi-structured interviews. The sample in this study consists of venture capital companies that were members of the SVCA (Swedish Venture Capital Association) during the time of the survey, 2015.Result: The empirical findings in this thesis consist of a presentation of the data that was generated from eleven interviews conducted with eleven different investors in the venture capital sector.Conclusion: This study indicates a lack of written policies regarding internal work with ESG-issues which were offset by the application of the "unwritten" policies. Implementation of ESG-issues during the pre-investment phase was dominated by an avoidance of investments in sectors which lead to a negative impact on society. During the post-investment phase ESG-issues was integrated by monitoring the portfolio companies' operations.

Bakgrund: The Standish Group, CompTI, (Computing Technology Industry Association) och Good ? to ? great visade i sina studier att de främsta faktorerna för ett lyckat IT-projekt handlar om att bjuda in aktörerna i utvecklingsarbetet, förbättra kommunikationen mellan berörda parter samt att använda rätt personal på rätt plats. Detta medför att konsulten måste inneha en mellanmänsklig kunskap för att kunna förtydliga den kommunikation som uppstår vid interaktionen med användaren. Syfte: Att undersöka vilka mellanmänskliga kommunikationskunskaper yrkesverksamma systemvetare inom konsultbranschen upplever sig sakna och möjligtvis behöva efter avslutade studier i systemvetenskap.Metod: Intervjustudie med kvalitativ ansats baserad på fem intervjuer. Materialet har transkriberats, kodats och strukturerats enligt beskriven bearbetningsmetoden.Resultat: I resultatet framkom det två olika kategorier; viktiga aspekter och avsaknad av kunskaper.Slutsatser: Denna studie påvisar att konsulter saknar kunskaper inom mellanmänsklig kommunikation efter avslutade studier från olika systemvetenskapliga program i Sverige.

Kandidatarbetet behandlar den fysiska miljön på Södertorg i Kristianstad, beläget i nordöstra Skåne. Södertorg är ett gammalt kasernområde som 2006 fick ett ansiktslyft då innanmätet på en av byggnaderna ritades om samtidigt som torgytan fick ett nytt utseende och öppnades upp för allmänheten. Tanken var att skapa ett nytt, modernt torg, Kristianstads tredje torg, som skulle komplettera Stora- och Lilla torg. Södertorg är en del av kvarteret Södra Kasern och består i dagsläget av två huvudbyggnader, sammanlänkade i söder med hjälp av en tredje, lägre, byggnad. Tillsammans bildar de tre byggnaderna arkitektoniska väggar till den 3000m2 stora torgytan som idag är nästintill oanvänd. Det är alltså torget tillsammans med de tre byggnaderna som utgör Södertorg. Butik efter butik har med åren omlokaliserat eller gått i konkurs vilket har lett till att Södertorg idag inackorderar Länsstyrelsen, Arbetsförmedlingen, bank, frisörsalong, café och någon enstaka butik. Uppsatsen identifierar de faktorer som påverkat och bidragit till Södertorgs negativa utveckling; butiksutbud, avsaknad av aktiviteter, utformning av torgytan, parkeringsmöjligheter, läget i stadskärnan samt områdets anonymitet.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate if Latvia´s pattern of trade has become more similar to the mature market economies, after Latvia´s independence 1991.Today, the intra-industry trade (IIT) dominates the trade of mature market economies. One of the pioneers of intra-industrial trade is Paul Krugman, who was the first to emphasize the importance "of scale and consumers' desire for variety" in explaining the basis for modern commerce. Customers get more variety and usually cheaper goods when the market gets bigger. I mainly use the modern trade theories to explain the trade pattern in Latvia. To measure how Latvia has developed its intra-industry trade, and thereby is approaching the mature market economies´ trade pattern, I use the Grubel-Lloyd index (GL-index).

Every year, Swedish municipalities transfer considerable amounts of profit from public housing companies to the owner municipality. Municipalities are allowed to do this, provided that the money is used to pay for certain purposes. But there are no legal repercussions if they do not comply. Not all municipalities choose to transfer profits. Based on partisan theory, this difference could be explained by the political governance of the municipality.

The knowledge of value-enhancing factors in condominiums is very important for real estate agents when valuing condominiums, but it is also of interest to the owner for an upcoming renovation and sale. Previous research has sorted out the most fundamental factors affecting value of condominiums such as location size, age and condition.The purpose of this paper is by consumer?s actual preferences regarding various attributes identify the most value-adding factors in condominiums. Thereby we want to add and nuance previous research.This has been done through a quantitative method in which possible buyers have ranked how various attributes affect their willingness to pay. The results were analyzed and the median of the various attributes have been recognized.The result shows in accordance with previous research that the location is the primary value-adding factor.

This project will search for the sound in the contemporary landscape architecture, an attempt to combine music and land­scaping. In a first stage, I have searched for outdoor environments where loudspeakers are used, and sites with a concious sound design. The project will result in a sound design created for the park Frodeparken in Uppsala, Sweden. In my search for sites and examples of conscious sound, I have talked to the people behind the projects I found - landscape architects, sound artists and architects. Influences from different areas have been essential for me in the project.

Polydaktyli är en medfödd missbildning där en individ får en eller flera falanger mer än vad som är normalt hos arten. Defekten uppkommer under den embryonala utvecklingen och är sporadiskt förekommande hos häst. Hos människa tillhör den däremot en av de vanligaste hand- och fot- relaterade missbildningarna. Idag är kunskapen begränsad rörande den genetiska bakgrunden till polydaktyli hos häst. Forskningen om de genetiska faktorer som orsakar polydaktyli hos andra djurslag som t.ex.

Background: There is a newly founded national sports education program. This newly founded national sports program comprises of several different sports of which football is one of them. Before a football player can reach the European- or national elite the player usually is first developed in clubs and their respective academies where a lot of time is spent on fine tuning the players? individual skillsets.The main goal for the NIU program is to develop future elite athletes to different sports. When it comes to football, the Swedish Football Association and the Swedish school board have together developed a study plan which will serve as a guideline for the NIU-football classes in Sweden.

Fornföreningen Fibula on the Aland Islands contacts the author because its members want to create a museum.The purpose of this two years master?s thesis in Archive, Library and Museum studies is to shed light on what a museum really is. The research question I have answered is ?what is a museum and is this what Fibula really wants in their reconstructed Viking village??. Based on interview material, ethnographic field studies, relevant research in the subject and documents from Fibula, I have answered the research question.
