Har äldrepedagogen en speciellt förhållningsätt som skiljer sig från deras kolleger? Vilka hinder möter äldrepedagogen i sin yrkesroll som äldrepedagog? Metod: Vår uppsats har en kvalitativ ansats. De teorier vi har valt som utgångspunkt är socialkonstruktivism, rollteori och professionaliseringsforskning. Vi använder dessa teorier för att få en förståelse av vad som sker när man skapar en yrkesroll, och för att få en insikt i vilka konflikter som kan uppstå mellan olika yrkeskategorier.

The study of culture is specifically relevant to libraries confronting changes. A variety of conditions makes it beneficial for libraries to understand the strengths as well as the weaknesses of the underlying culture. Such an understanding can help libraries in adjusting to changes easier, without losing the cultural values that they hold important to their identity and strategic strengths.Taking this as a starting point the purpose of this essay is to examine and describe what aspects in prevailing library cultures are important to pay attention to when meeting changes. To accomplish this we will explore the concept of library culture, its substance, meaning and expression.Culture is reflected in the artifacts, values and underlying assumptions of formal and informal groups. Culture can be found at various levels.

Problematiken för vår studie grundar sig i den nya revisionslagen som trädde ikraft 1 november 2010, nämligen avskaffandet av revisionsplikten. Lagen innebär att alla aktiebolag som understiger två av tre följande gränsvärden: att ha i genomsnitt 3 anställda, omsättningen understiger 3 miljoner svenska kronor och att balansomslutningen understiger 1,5 miljoner svenska kronor, behöver inte anlita en revisor.I samband med att revisionsplikten avskaffades, diskuteras det mycket vilken betydelse revisionen hade för olika intressenter. Revisionen infördes framförallt för att ge bättre kontrollmöjligheter för externa intressenter. Trots lagändringen, är det idag flertal småföretag som fortsätter att behålla revisorn i företaget och det beror främst på grund av externa intressenternas påverkan.Vårt syfte med studien är att skapa förståelse varför småföretag behåller revisorn i företaget i förhållande till externa intressenter och hur externa intressenter påverkar det, ur småföretagens perspektiv. Undersökningen grundar sig på en kvalitativ studie i form av intervjuer.

Landscape architects has many ways of transforming our cities and landscapes. Traditionally, most attention has been put to visual qualities. Pen and paper are well established as the way to present proposals and to analyse in the landscape architects profession and training. But are we perhaps missing out on other ways of seeing the landscape? The purpose of this paper is to present sound as a tool of transformation. Sound in public spaces has long been treated just as noise and therefore unwanted.

Introduction:By insight in the company and by monitoring the management, the board has an important function in creating trust in governance of the company. Furthermore, the board reduces the asymmetry of information between the owners and the management, which also is the function of the auditor, by auditing how the board governs the company and the accounting. In case the board does not effectively monitor the management, the auditor has to extend its monitoring, which increases the owners agency costs through the audit fee. The board composition can affect how effectively the board practices the monitoringProblem: How is the audit fee affected by the board composition?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explain how the board composition affects the audit fee.Method: The study uses a quantitative method, where the data was collected from the annual reports of 112 limited companies listed on the NASDAQ OMX Large and Mid Cap lists on January 2, 2012.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken kunskap lärare med elever i årskurs 6-9 har om elevers stress och vad de gör och kan tänka sig göra för att underlätta för stressade elever, och vad jag i min kommande profession som svensklärare kan ta med mig ut av deras erfarenheter. Metoden jag använt för att ta reda på svaren till frågeställningarna är kvalitativa intervjuer. Resultatet visar på att lärare är relativt kunniga om vad stress är, dock skulle de behöva mer kunskap för att se symptomen på stress hos sina elever. Lärarna har en hel del konkreta metoder för att förebygga och underlätta för stressade elever, och många av dem finner stöd i litteraturen. Jag har fått en del nya idéer om hur man just i svenskämnet kan förebygga stress. Slutligen är det viktigt att identifiera stress på ett tidigt stadium så att man på så sätt kan sätta in stressförebyggande åtgärder och eliminera stressfaktorerna så vi inte utsätter eleverna för mer stress än nödvändigt..

Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancerformen bland kvinnor, cirka 6 300 kvinnor i Sverige drabbas varje år. Ett cancerbesked innebär ett förändrat livsperspektiv för patienten. Syftet med denna kvalitativa litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnor upplevde sjuksköterskans stöd. Litteraturstudien planerades och genomfördes enligt Polit & Hunglers (1999) arbetsgång. Resultatet delas in i tre olika kategorier: Emotionellt stöd, informativt stöd och instrumentellt stöd.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och hur begreppet beprövad erfarenhet används i den specialpedagogiska verksamheten. De uppställda frågeställningarna till syftet är:- Hur definierar nio specialpedagoger begreppet beprövad erfarenhet och hur talar man om beprövad erfarenhet i den specialpedagogiska praktiken? - Hur anser specialpedagogerna att förhållandet mellan beprövad erfarenhet och vetenskaplig grund ser ut?- Används beprövad erfarenhet och vetenskaplig grund för professionalisering av specialpedagoger?Teori: Studien utgår från två teoretiska perspektiv. Dels det specialpedagogiska dilemmaperspektivet men även från professionsteorin. Dilemmaperspektivet problematiserar skolans komplexa värld.

The work as a personal assistant is sometimes associated with certain problems. Studies have shown that personal assistants often experience indistinct rules and roles concerning what should or should not be included in their duties. This study was undertaken to evaluate problems associated with the profession as a personal assistant, how widespread they are and how they are dealt with. Specifically, the study evaluates if the personal assistants have to do duties that they consider they are not assigned to do. Different roles (formal as informal) are also discussed which may be of current interest in this study, but also how we see people on basis of ethics and moral.

The aim is to describe the factors that influence nurses' assessment and measurement of pain in patients. Literature study based on 13 reviewed articles, searched in the Cinahl. Qualitative and quantitative articles were analyzed. Six themes were identified that can be seen as the factors that influence nurses' assessment and measurement. The themes were   pain education, nurses´ experience in the profession, nurses´ level of knowledge about pain relief, documentation about pain, nurse´s perspective on the patient, and pain measurement.

My thesis is based on a qualitative study in which I have selected six professional teachers in a school in Greater Stockholm, and their views on the phenomenon of conflict management. My questions were the following.How teachers perceive the phenomenon of conflict in the world of school?What strategies do teachers use to resolve conflicts with students?In order to analyze my informants, I have chosen different books that deal with conflict man-agement, policy documents and books on the teaching profession meaning. Through my investigation I found that some teachers used tools and strategies through expe-rience and reflections, and resolve conflicts together or individually. My informants described that there are some teachers how choose to hide and pretend not to see the problem.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka skolkuratorers uppfattningar av, inställningar till och föreställningar om barnfetma och barn med övervikt. Följande frågeställningar användes för att besvara syftet: Hur beskriver skolkuratorerna arbetet som bedrivs omkring barn med fetma och övervikt? Vilka psykosociala konsekvenser får fetma och övervikt för barn?Studien är en deskriptiv, kvalitativ intervjustudie. Empirin har hämtats genom intervjuer med sex skolkuratorer på grundskolor inom Göteborgs kommun. Materialet tolkades utifrån två perspektiv, dels ett professionellt perspektiv och dels utifrån ett barn perspektiv.

Purpose/Aim: The aim is to study the critics own views upon their profession and upon the development of criticism, and to thereafter set this in relation to contemporary theory and debates.Material/Method: A qualitative study pursued through personal interviews. The results are categorized and split into different themes.Main Results: Through media convergence and a changed media culture the conditions for criticism have also been altered. But in spite of various negative prophecies, these changes cause no serious threat to criticism. New forums and new forms of criticism actually increase the importance of the traditional ditto as the authoritative voice that holds the field together. Still, there are questions and fears about a future seemingly less and less predictable.

This master thesis concerns the relationship the librarianhas to the libraries classification system. The system itselfis made by librarians for librarians and is only used bylibrarians. This raises the question of how the librariansrelate to their own system to create order. The empiricalmaterial consists of five in-depth interviews with librarians.Two theoretical approaches were used in the analysis of thematerial with one focus on the librarian?s professional rolland the other on the postmodern theories about humansneed for order.
