Detta examensarbete är gjort för Kårhuset Trappan AB genom att använda ramverket Geovisual Analytics Visualization (GAV), som är utvecklat av National Center Visual Analytics (NCVA). Examensarbetet producerade en applikation för att följa företagets inköp och försäljning av artiklar. Applikationen är en webbplats i flash, och skrevs i Actionscript med Adobe Flash Builder 4. The purpose of the present investigation was to identify how knowledge about goal-setting is developed and applied in practice of male players in the Swedish national floorball team, by using a qualitative methodology. Participants were 6 players playing for the Swedish national team. They were asked to respond to the interview questions in relation to their perception of setting goals for a successful outcome in sports, how their goal- setting process has developed and how they deal with goal setbacks and goal attainment. Results revealed that Swedish national players in floorball employed goal setting often for both individual and team goals in practice and competition. In addition, many interesting findings regarding the process of goal setting emerged in the result.

Within literature, politics and science, there is a claim that ?tree avenues are important?. But the question and the goal for this essay are to explore the pretext to how and why. Planting tree avenues is a 4000 year old tradition and they are a common element in the Swedish and Scanian landscape since the 18th century. They were first mainly planted by aristocratic land-owners or on their initiative, but since the 19th century also by farmers.

The exclusion of visually impaired from the information flow presented to us through signs was what led me into this project. With a growing amount of information being presented to us on signs and digital information surface the need of communicating this information in a way that could be read by visually impaired is evident. Looking into different ways of communication, my goal was to create something that filled the need of the visually impaired without branding them as disabled. Having a close relative with bad eyesight is became evident on how much it limited her in her everyday life, not being able to navigate herself without the support of her husband. Through interviews with her and others with varying diagnoses I reached an insight in their situation. To my surprise they still favored a visual form of communication before an auditory or tactile form, because it?s easy to survey and quick to interpret.

Att tidsperceptionen är påverkbar har tidigare påvisats. Studien syftar till att undersöka huruvida tidsperceptionen påverkar fartperceptionen, med hypotesen att när interna taktgivaren går snabbare uppfattas farten som lägre. 28 försöksdeltagare fick under fyra betingelser (Lugn, Stressig, Egen musik och Tyst) utföra tids- och fartestimationer under bilfärd. Inga signifikanta resultat påvisades ifråga om vare sig tidsperceptionen eller dess inverkan på fartperceptionen. Däremot skilde sig prospektiv estimation av medelfart åt beroende på betingelsen.

This thesis examines immigration policy and the problematic of the surveillance society, by analyzing the movies V for Vendetta and Children of Men. In the thesis we use visual analysis, and the theories of Michel Foucault and Nikolas Rose. Central questions to our thesis are how the movies interpret the present time, and how they have chosen to depict the surveillance society to problematize the current immigration policies. Thespeakers will use the latest available technology and at the same time, using digitalsignal processing, have a low environmental impact through high energy efficiencyand low power consumption. Parallel to this work a pilot study will be conducted tosee trends in listener preference of sound.The result achieves the goals pledged while power consumption in sleep mode is solow that they meet the demands of tomorrow.
