Speciellt farligt är klarluftsturbulens eftersom fenomenet ej är synligt för blotta ögat, samt att det kan uppstå mycket plötsligt. Mycket pengar och resurser har lagts ned för att ta fram system som skall kunna detektera och automatiskt rapportera turbulens. Denna uppsats beskriver kortfattat hur några av dessa system fungerar samt hur systemen skall bidra till att piloter lättare skall kunna förbereda för eller undvika turbulens. One of the aims of this report has been to make an inventory of the building trade market to see which document handling systems that are available. The secondary aim was to document the users´ demands on the systems and other demands such as quality assurance. After this, the document handling systems Byggnet and Lotus Notes, which are rather complex systems, have been analysed. Finally a recommendation has been made. In the inventory of the marketthe internet has been used because it is there the latest information can be found.

According to international and national literacy studies (PISA, PIRLS) Swedish boys are inferior to Swedish girls when it comes to reading. There can be numerous reasons to that statement. One is that Swedish teachers require more knowledge about communication as an important component in literacy. In spite of this shortcoming, Swedish girls manage to gain sufficient literacy. Why is that? The aim of this survey was to examine if there were any differences between girls and boys regarding communication skills when they begin in school.The main questions taken in account were:Which differences and/or similarities in communication skills are discernible between boys and girls this particular preschool?How do boys and girls communicate with each other in different room contexts on this particular preschool?           To be able to answer the questions, I adopted observations and audio recordings from children aged five.

The purpose of this study has been to examine a few Swedish advertisment producers opinions on the subject of viral advertising and especially the ethical aspects of hidden viral advertising. The specified purpose of this paper is to:To clarify the underlying reasons for the use of viral advertising.To clarify the advertising producers ethical views on hidden viral advertising.The essay is based on a qualitive research metod of an abductive nature where the empirical data is derived from interviews with three advertisment producers. Through a stratified selection method we contacted agencies that in one way or another uses digital solutions as an advertisment method. All interviews were conducted via the digital chat room Skype, one of the interviews were conducted with both picture and sound and the other two with audio-only.The following points are the essential conclusions of our study:Hidden viral advertising is seen as a rare promotional method in Sweden today, however, the viral-spread effect is more commonly used.The economic factors together with the spreading capacity of the viral advertising is contributing to one of the biggest reasons behind the use of viral advertising. In addition to these, viral advertising is seen as an effective way to stand out from traditional advertising.Viral advertising where the sender is hidden or unclear is always seen as unethical.

The present study aims to investigate the phonological development of typically developing monolingual Swedish speaking children aged three to four years. The result could be used in the standardization of a new phonological test material for clinical speech and language pathology assessments. One-hundred and thirty four children aged three and four years (73 girls and 61 boys) were assessed with the new material. The children were tested in kindergartens in three communities in southeastern Sweden. Their assessments were audio recorded, transcribed phonetically and analyzed with Percentage Phonemes Correct (PPC) and Percentage of Words Correct (PWC).

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur medvetna gymnasieelever är om it-säkerhetshot och risker på Internet. Detta har gjorts genom att först undersöka aktuella hot genom att studera trendrapporter från ledande it-säkerhetsföretag. Denna information har sedan använts i en enkät för att ta reda på kunskapen och medvetenhetsnivån om dessa it-säkerhetshot bland gymnasieelever i Uppsala. Studien visar att det finns ett behov av utökad kunskap inom området. I resultatet kunde särskilda brister ses i de sociala aspekterna av it-säkerhet.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the lunchtime from a language development perspective. It will compare two preschools with different ways of organizing mealtimes and observe the conversations between teachers and children. It will also study the ways in which a meal is served and how it affects the conversations. In one of the preschools the children eat in a proper dining room where the food is served as a buffet while in the other preschool the children eat in the preschoolarea and the food is served in bowls on the tables. I also want to investigate how two of these preschool teachers reflect on the mealtimes as part of the language development plan.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how students in higher education use talking books. This has been inves-tigated through qualitative interviews with nine students. The intention has been to find out how they use talk-ing books and why they have chosen to do it in the way they have, looking specifically on whether there are strategies shared by most of the interviewees.As a theoretical basis of the thesis I have chosen a study, described by Sigrid Hongset, where dyslectic pu-pils tried using printed text and text on tape, as well as both simultaneously. George Kingsley Zipfs ?Principle of least effort? will act as a supplemental theory.The interviews show that the students use talking books in different ways.

Samtalsmöten är en viktig del i människors kontakter med myndigheter. De sätt som dessa samtalsmöten sker på kan påverka den enskildes medverkan, kunskaper och utfall från dessa möten, på olika sätt.Studiens syfte är att analysera och beskriva hur asymmetrier mellan handläggare och klient konstrueras i samtalsmöten om bistånd för äldre och ekonomiskt bistånd samt handläggarens hantering av dessa.Genom att använda diskursiv analysmetod analyseras tio audio-inspelade samtalsmöten och den samtalsinteraktion som sker i dessa när det gäller handläggarnas biståndsbedömning av så väl bistånd för äldre som ekonomiskt bistånd.Resultatet visar att det är av vikt att handläggarna är medvetna om de inneboende asymmetrierna i dessa samtalsmöten som kommer av deras institutionella karaktär. Detta, då handläggaren genom sin hantering av dessa har en stor möjlighet att påverka huruvida asymmetrierna förstärks i samtalsmötet och hur det i sin tur påverkar klienten och deras relation. Resultatet tyder också på att handläggarens hantering av de olika asymmetrierna som framträdde kan äventyra rättssäkerheten för klienten.Resultatet lyfter fram betydelsen av att det är handläggarens medvetenhet eller omedvetenhet om dessa asymmetrier som är avgörande för hur de hanteras och vad det får för effekter för klienten. Studien kan användas för vidare förståelse i praktiska sammanhang om vilka kommunikativa asymmetrier som finns mellan handläggare och klient och hur handläggarens hantering av dessa påverkar interaktionen och relationen dem emellan, samt det utfall som det kan ha för klienten..

Denna rapport är resultatet av en studie kring kostnader för brandskydd av stålprofiler. Rapporten inleds med en beskrivning av problemet att hitta den ekonomiskt bästa lösningen för brandskydd av stålpelare i en konstruktion med specificerad brandklass. Därefter följer en allmän del om brandskydd och en övergripande redogörelse för gällande lagar och föreskrifter som har betydelse för brandskyddsdimensioneringen. De laster och förutsättningar som ligger till grund för valet av pelardimensioner beskrivs och valda dimensioner redovisas i tabell. Därefter följer en beskrivning av de brandskyddsmaterial som studerats: inklädnad med gips-, fibersilikat-, och stenullsskivor samt brandskyddsmålning.

Background: Studies that have been made in male-dominated organisations shows that only few women have succeeded in advancing to the higher positions in all businesses. Statistics shows that merely 4 % of the managers in all building companies are female. The manager role has earlier always been classified as most suitable for men resulting in barriers for women who strive for management positions. This problem is now very renowned and is called the glass ceiling. To improve the current situation, both the organization's structure and culture, have to be modernized for more women to succeed and get the courage to get into the industry.

Jaggjorde mitt exobb på avdelningen MD Engineering som huvudsakligen utvecklar marina drivlinor.Marinediesel Sweden AB var i behov av ett styrprogram till den testbänk de byggt för att kunna testasina motorbåtsdrev. Denna rapport beskriver arbetet jag utfört för att färdigställa och optimera ettstyrprogram till en testrigg för marina drivlinor. I rapporten tar jag upp drevbänkens uppbyggnad, dessfunktion samt de problem jag stött på på vägen. Bland annat beskrivs hur effektförlusten beräknasmed energidifferensen i tillförd och bortförd olja i drevet, samt hur det pålagda vridmomentet, somsimulerar belastningen vid verkliga driftsförhållanden, styrs och beräknas med endast trycket ihydraulcylindrarna..
