RISKfree ? ett system för riskhantering inom programvaruprojektI dagens IT-centrerade värld sker utvecklingen av hårdvara och programvara i en rasande takt. Om ett företag skall ha möjlighet att vara konkurrenskraftigt i denna utvecklingstakt, krävs det snabba och effektiva metoder i utvecklingsprocessen. Dessa krav från omvärlden på nya och mer komplexa produkter och tjänster innebär ofta nya och större risker för ett utvecklingsprojekt; både ekonomiska som tidsmässiga.Analyser av programvaruprojekt som har misslyckats visar att många av deras problem och risker kunde ha undvikits eller åtminstone drastiskt reducerats med hjälp av riskhantering. Oftast är det en optimistisk entusiasm över projektet som överskuggar viktiga varningssignaler om risker och problem enligt B.W.

The purpose of this Master's thesis is to make suggestions as to how librarians can promote young reluctant readers to help them find the joy of reading. We want to show how the comprehension of these children and adolescents can be translated into action in the librarians work with reading promotion.Our main questions are:? What attitudes do the librarians find that children and adolescents, ages 9-15 with reluctance to read, have towards reading?? What do public- and school librarians do to stimulate children and adolescents, ages 9-15 that are reluctant to read, to feel the joy of reading?? What role or which roles can the public- and school librarians have in the work of reading promotion, targeting children and adolescents with a reluctance to read?We have used Beers's theories about reluctant readers and reading promotion, Chambers's model and theory ?Reading Circle? and his theories about conditions that promote a ?good reading environment?. We have also used Smidt's theories about the librarian's different roles in the work of supplying literature.The method we have used is qualitative and based on literature and interviews with 7 children- and school librarians that all of whom work or have worked with reading promotion for children and adolescents in the ages between 9-15, that are reluctant to read.Our results show that in order to gain understanding about the attitudes towards, and relationship to reading, our targeted group have, the librarian has to be aware of the inner conditions that these children and adolescents have. These inner conditions are going to affect the work and the result of the reading promotion activity.

The aim with this thesis is to develop a plugin; Lovefish, for the purpose of allowing non-realistic renderings (NPR) for visualisation in Newtek Lightwave3D. The main purpose with Lovefish is to offer textured tones, something that has not been offered before by any previously existing shader for Lightwav3D. The textured tones are a substantially widening of what is possible to imitate in the field of classical art techniques. Among others has a number of SIGGRAPH papers has been the foundation and a source of inspiration for what has been achieve in this project. Further has this thesis treated a number of questions: what is non-photorealistic rendering is and how it works; an overview of the Lightwave3Ds software development kit (SDK)..

Uppsatsen gör en första ansats till redogörelse för smygteknikens taktiska implikationer.Vilka möjligheter finns med smygtekniken mot en kvalificerad motståndare under väpnad strid? Detta koncentreras till tre olika områden: duellstrid, underrättelseinhämtning och vilseledning. Med avstamp i flottans gamla reglemente, TRFL, via litteratur i ämnet, och slutligen med intervjuer dras slutsatser på huruvida sjötaktiken påverkats, eller kan påverkas av signaturanpassningen.Slutsatserna är, förutom att fortsatt forskning behövs på området, att det är av största vikt att fartygschef har adekvata beslutsunderlag angående fartygets signaturer, och att signaturanpassningen, rätt nyttjad, ger taktiska fördelar..

I denna slutreflektion beskriver jag vad det var som fick mig att börja med applikationsutveckling till mobila enheter. Vilka mina tankar och planer var i början respektive slutet av projektet. Även hur jag gått tillväga för att skapa en mobilapplikation till Sveriges ledande annonssajt Blocket.se. Jag beskriver också hur jag gjorde min research i början av projektet och även vilken sorts mjukvara jag valde att arbeta med. Hur jag tog mina idéer och tankar från bilder i huvudet till skisser på ett papper, för att sedan förbättra det digitalt på datorn. Jag går även igenom mina arbetsmetoder och vilka delar som hjälpt mig till framgång.

Detta självständiga arbete i militärteknik behandlar två simuleringsprogram för radarvågutbredning i syfte att undersöka konsekvenserna av dess nyttjande för den taktiske chefen till sjöss. Simuleringsprogrammens användbarhet mäts kvalitativt genom att respektive simuleringsprograms egenskaper ställs mot den taktiske chefens krav. Simulerings-programmen beskrivs utifrån teoretiska egenskaper i respektive program och utvärderas genom simuleringar av en typradar i tre olika vädertypfall. Den taktiske chefens krav grundas på personliga erfarenheter som fartygschef på korvett. Resultatet presenteras i form av positiva och negativa konsekvenser för den taktiske chefen vid nyttjande av respektive program. .

The aim of this report is to improve the fire safety at Hallsta Paper Mill in Hallstavik, Sweden. In order to do so large parts of a fire-protection management system for the paper mill has been created. The report begins with giving a general description of management structures and fire-protection management systems. An account is given for how management structures are designed, and how they should be implemented, maintained and updated. Thereafter follows a description of what routines and instructions should be included in a fire-protection management system..

My aim is to provide knowledge about ways of understanding Intranet as a communication artifact. Today organizations plan to update their technology so as to make the communicative functions of Web 2.0 come true. With this objective in mind organizations will be prepared to meet social demands among staff. After interviewing intranet managers I have compiled qualitative data in categories. My approach is influenced by a phenomenographic approach.

This report describes a study of two different methods to achive the best possible result in setting out apartment details. These two methods are the setting out of details with a measuring tape from baselines and the setting out procedure with an instrument (totalstation).Through our knowledge in surveying and mapping technology and help from a carpenter, this investigation has been implemented. The setting out using a tape has been performed by letting the carpenter to set out windows, bathroom and water- and drain-details from baselines and drawing. The setting out using a surveying instrument was carried out by means of a Trimble Total Station. These two methods have been compared in order to detect and show the difference that occurs.The report shows the investigation background story from the practice of Swedish Mätcenter in Karlstad.A result of differences in accuracy and time is described in the report, as well as their theoretical consequences.

Municipal safety work is an issue frequently discussed. The new legislation about accident prevention obeys the Swedish municipality to present an action program for accident prevention. In Borlänge municipality there has been no sanctioned proposal for a program. This report presents the problems found and gives proposals for improvements in the future safety work. The guiding words should be unambiguousness, able to control and not too complicated.

The study has been conducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, by using a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that the traditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenue is gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties in order to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control of activities that used to be controlled by the record label..

This paper addresses the need to review the modern presentation of textile archaeology in museums. It is time to look at textiles in archaeology with new eyes. The reality behind archaeological textilestudy is holistic, embracing many different aspects of society. The presentation of textiles has in my opinion become old-fashioned. I will show in my paper that Jonathan Adams? `seven constraints´ model, developed for research on ancient ships, can also be applied to textile research.
