The purpose of this research has been to find out whether and how teachers stimulate and motivate well achievers in the elementary school to reach a higher level. To gather information I visited two different schools within the same county in Stockholm and on each school I met and interviewed with two teachers. The answers received from these interviews are presented in this study as my results. I found that the teachers feel that students that do well in the classroom many times work as role models for the other students. Often these students require extra material as they usually finish their workload ahead of others.

The problem with keeping horses with to little social contact has come to Attention in a new regulation that comes into effect august 1st 2009. It states that horses? need of social contact has to be accommodated. That?s why it feels important to try to survey the horse owners? awareness about the regulation and its present fulfillment.

The thesis explores representations of fatherhood in the Swedish blog 'Hemliga pappan' ('Secret/Anonymous Daddy'). The purpose is to identify three themes in the blog material; The Father, The Son and The Partner. I have performed this study using discourse analysis as methodological tool and Critical Studies on Masculinities and Fatherhood as theoretic approach. The theories are Social Constructionist and consist of sociologists and socio-psychologists as Connell, Hearn and Johansson. Important theoretic concepts are the presence and absence of the father as well as hegemonic masculinity.

The purpose of this study has been to find out what possibilities the journalists at the newspaper Aftonbladet have to live up to the proposed ideas and values that defines journalism, as well as how these values are presented to the readers. With this as a starting-point we have studied what kind of society Aftonbladet presents to its readers as well as how this society is supposed to work and also what it`s like. To be able to answer this question we have first researched through theories and earlier studies, literature about journalism, media science, semiotics, history and laws. With the help of the investigation we found fitting tools to perform the analysis. With the theory as groundwork we have, through the qualitative approach analyzed seven news articles from seven Aftonbladet newspapers during one week.Our study shows that the Afonbladet?s journalists have not been able to present occurrences in society in a correct and impartial manner - because they exaggerate insignificant details and neglect to show real Attention to serious societal structures by using sensationalism, dramatization and a very superficial approach to the stories that they are conveying.

Swedish law (SOL 2001:45, LVU 1990:52) has gone through several changes to promote participation. The law also includes that young people should be able to participate even during a placement at youth detentions.  The aim of this study is to describe how young people at youth detentions are participated in their treatment plans. The questions of the study were: How and where are the young opinions produced in their treatment plans; how did the opinions change during the time in detention; and how have the opinions been considered at youth detentions? Participation is a wide concept with different meanings. The meaning of participation in this study is that youth have been listened to and that their opinions have been paid Attention to.

Syftet med denna studie är att analysera och beskriva fenomenet -flickor med ADHD. I studien undersöks professionella behandlares upplevelser kring fenomenet flickor med ADHD, utifrån de flickor de mött under sitt yrkespraktiserande och uppmärksamma orsaker som lyfts fram för att förklara varför flickor med ADHD upptäcks mer sällan och i många fall senare än pojkar med ADHD och vilka konsekvenser detta kan leda till. Denna kandidatuppsats har genomförts med kvalitativ metod genom intervjuer med tre professionella behandlare som i sitt dagliga arbete möter flickor som fått diagnosen ADHD. Den tidigare forskningen som tas upp i studien syftar till att ge läsaren en inblick i och förståelse för vad en ADHD- diagnos innebär och hur diskussionerna kring ADHD ser ut i dagsläget. Analysen av det insamlade materialet utgår från tre teoretiska inriktningar.

The aim of this report was to investigate the economy of passive houses. The work was focused on economy in total and on the economy of different components such as windows, insulation, heat exchanger and the air tightness of the climate shell. No Attention was paid on the comfort factor or to the impacts on the environment.Two houses, aspiring to be passive were chosen; A big one and a small one. Hence, comparisons considering the size of the building have been possible to do as well.The comparisons were made by calculating ?break even? between two concepts; passive and BBR- concept.

Interest in alternative energies is high in Sweden today, particularly in the agricultural sector. According to the Swedish lantbruksbarometern (2009), almost all respondents consider the use of some form of alternative energy from the farm. While interest in alternative energies is large, Attention to the alternative energy straw has fallen and is almost nowhere mentioned in the literature today. Three years ago, in the Lantbruksbarometern nearly 44% of the farmers would be willing to invest in straw as heating system on the farm. How do the farmers decide to invest in alternative energies? With this information a problem is presented for this paper.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how social workers, working in a management position in the health care system, perceive the encounter of the medical and social perspective. With seven qualitative interviews, the study tries to conclude whether or not social workers are accepted at managerial positions within the health care sector. The social worker is, as a manager in health care, a leader but at the same time in a professional alienation from the medical caregivers. Organizations in the health care sector are often multi professional and have their own long standing tradition, history and culture. The results show that the conditions for social workers, working in a management position in health care appear to be agreeable.

This thesis examines how marketing by secondhand apps affects young adult women's consumption habits, investigating whether these platforms promote or counteract overconsumption. While the secondhand market is considered more sustainable than buying new, these apps may still encourage overconsumption. The study focuses on the marketing strategies of three major secondhand apps in Sweden: Tradera, Sellpy, and Vinted, analyzing their impact on consumer behavior using the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). Based on qualitative interviews with eleven women aged 20-27 and the authors observations of the apps marketing activities, the study finds that secondhand apps often emphasize environmental benefits and makes secondhand shopping accessible and appealing. However, the marketing tactics used by these apps, including frequent push notifications, targeted advertisements, and influencer collaborations, may lead to increased consumption. Overconsumption causes significant environmental damage, and while the secondhand market can mitigate these effects by extending the lifecycle of items, the emphasis on convenience end environmental benefits can inadvertently encourage more consumption. The study concludes that secondhand apps play a complex role in consumer behavior, balancing the potential for sustainability with the risk of promoting overconsumption.

As scholars argue, there has been a rapid diffusion of civic integration policies in Western Europe the last decade. In the light of the debate about the extent of civic integration policies, recent studies have shown that the diffusion is limited to certain countries. Despite a flurry of literature based on civic integration policies, Attention drawn to the implication of these policies has been quite inferior. This paper tries to examine what civic integration policies means in relation to immigration. Are civic integration policies used as an informal tool for the purpose of limiting certain groups of immigrants? I argue in this paper that the conditional factor in the civic integration policies creates a barrier for affected immigrants and their possibilities to gain long term residence.

AbstractIdag är det ca 30 % av befolkningen som upplever någon form av psykisk ohälsa, mångasöker vård via primärvården där de hänvisas till Hälsocentraler som erbjuder KBT behandlingför psykisk ohälsa. De flesta söker för diagnoser som depression och ångesttillstånd. Eftersomdet kan vara långa köer för individuell terapi erbjuds KBT behandling i grupp som ettalternativ till enskild terapi.Denna studie är en utvärdering av en KBT behandling i grupp inom Primärvården vid enHälsocentral i norra Sverige. Sex deltagare har intervjuats efter avslutad gruppbehandling.Materialet i studien har genomgått en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Teman som framkom istudien är psykologisk flexibilitet, perspektivtagande, smågruppsprocesser,beteendeförändringar och tilltro till den egna förmågan.Resultatet visar på att samtliga deltagare är positiva till den behandling i gruppform som deerbjudits.

Det område som undersöks i detta examensarbete är pedagogisk anpassning inom idrott och hälsa för elever med ADHD (Attention Dificit Hyperactivity Disorder). Syftet med undersökningen är att genom användning av vetenskapsteoretiska utgångspunkten ?Grundad teori? undersöka vilka metoder, pedagogiska anpassningar, lärare säger att de använder för att få elever med ADHD att lära sig i ämnet idrott och hälsa i dagens skola. Detta empiriska material jämförs sedan med vad forskningen inom området visar, för att på så sätt visa ifall forskningen når ut till verksamma lärare eller inte. För att kunna göra dessa jämförelser, har vi intervjuat åtta lärare i idrott och hälsa från fyra olika rektorsområden i en mellanstor stad i södra Sverige.

The purpose of the study is to illustrate the choices of sports profiled education amongst pupils in the upper secondary school. Special Attention is brought to whether there exist any differences between team- and individual competitors in their view on sport and education. One hypothesis that constitutes the base of the study is that pupils from lower social class, in a higher extent, tend to be team competitors and choose sport activities prior education. The result has been interpreted against Bourdieu's cultural sociology, in which the central concepts are habitus and cultural- and economic capital. The method that has been used is quantitative in the form of a questionnaire study which 277 pupils have answered.                   The result shows that the sportsmen, regardless type of sport, are not influenced by social position regarding choice of education and in their view on education and studies.

As a consumer often chooses product or service to satisfy the specific needs or desires. However, there is more often than not several brands that manufacture the same product, which means we also have to choose between these brands before we can calm our needs. This choice is usually an active decision. We choose a brand that we are familiar with, or a brand whose identity appeals to us. The brand thus has a major impact on both consumers' decision-making in connection with the purchase, but also for business success.
