This thesis is about developing a design that provides improved vacuum seal between a lead coating and a plastic coating during plastic extrusion processes of cables. This report is a part of the course MSGC 17 for Bachelor Engineers in mechanical engineering.The work is performed at Nexans Norway AS in Halden where they have a production of high voltage cables for sea-, and offshore industry. A problem they face is that they do not get enough good seal at the Attachment to the plastic extrusion machine. They want to achieve a vacuum between a lead coating on the cable and a plastic coating of the cable for plastic extrusion, which is something they do not achieve today. The thesis is thus to come up with a design that provides better sealing against the cable.The work involves a construction part with the phases of product development processes.

The purpose of our study was to investigate whether national adoptions could be an option within the childcare system in Sweden. We wanted to create an understanding of how the professionals agree to this. We have implemented a comprehensive literature review as well as a qualitative study, taking benefit of a phenomenological method of analysis. The result of our study shows that national adoptions cannot replace foster placements but be a good addition to foster homes. Adoption gives the children a more secure and stable life..

Hur personlighet och attribut påverkar arbetsprestation har längevarit ett aktuellt forskningsområde inom organisationspsykologin. Vipresenterar i vår studie Anknytningsteori, samt hur anknytningsstilaroch beteenden kan kopplas till arbetsrelaterade situationer ochproblem. Anknytningsteorin försöker förklara människorsinterpersonella relationstendenser. Med hjälp av mätinstrumentetAttachment Style Questionnaire (ASQ) undersöker vi poliser (n=50)och sjuksköterskors (n=83) anknytningsstil för att ge grund för vårahypoteser om yrkesdoktrinens påverkan på fördelningen avanknytningsstilar. Statistiskt säkerställda skillnader existerargrupperna emellan vad gällande anknytningsbeteende där poliseruppmäter högre värden på målinriktade delskalor och sjuksköterskorhögre på relationsbaserade.

Developments in milk production are heading towards fewer but larger herds where the milking process is often fully automated. Automatic milking systems were launched in the 1990?s and in the year 2010 the Automatic Milking Rotary (AMR) was introduced. As a rule there are no supervision personnel present during the milking event in systems with automatic milking. This means that there is a risk that cows can be incompletely milked in one or more udder quarters, for example if the robots fail in attaching the milking cups or if the cow kicks off the milking unit.

The Swedish agricultural sector is currently undergoing a substantial structural change. The number of farm enterprises is continuously decreasing and the average farm size is increasing. In combination with increasing number of competitors in the insurance market, the competitive rivalry within this market has increased significantly. With this knowledge in mind, Länsförsäkringar Uppsala initiated this study, which aims to provide an understanding of customer?s view on customer value, related to agricultural insurance and financing.

Syfte med studien var att undersöka pedagogernas uppfattning om arbetet med hållbar utveckling genom en Grön Flagg-certifiering i förskolan. Mina frågeställningar blev därför: Hur stödjer en Grön Flagg-certifieringen arbetet mot hållbar utveckling? Hur görs barnen delaktiga i arbetet med Grön Flagg? Hur ser pedagogerna på sig själva som förebilder? Dessa frågor har besvarats genom en undersökning med kvalitativa intervjuer av åtta pedagoger i fyra olika Grön Flagg-certifierade förskolor (bland dessa en förskoleadministratör) samt kommunens miljöstrateg, tre barns egna tankar om miljö och yngre kamrater har undersöks.  Resultat har analyserats utifrån lärande för hållbar utveckling, Harts delaktighetstrappa samt Axness fostrans principer utifrån ett nytt forskningsområde kallad epigenetik med fokus på ett av dess användningsområden: barnuppfostran. Genom resultat och analys av datainsamlingen har jag funnit att en Grön Flagg-certifieringen kan stödja arbetet mot hållbar utveckling om det finns ett gemensamt synsätt inom arbetslaget, engagerade och drivande pedagoger samtidigt som man synliggör de små vardagliga insatserna i förskolan. Pedagogerna i studien anser att certifieringen utåt visat att man arbetat mot hållbar utveckling och sätter press till att arbetet genomförs.

I have written an experiential essay about my role as a preschool director and the important work decisions that I face. What is best for the child? That is something that I think is important to take into consideration.In the narrative, I describe how an induction occurs at my preschool. We use an "old" tried and true method which spans two to three weeks, which I believe is best for children under the age of two. They need to first connect withone educator who they are comfortable with before they are secure enough to play and explore the environment of the preschool.In recent years, another method has emerged which is shorter and which has quickly became popular in many preschools.

The purpose of this essay is to compare two investigationprojects /evaluationproject (BBICOHPeL) regarding theoretical anchoring and operationmethods. Important questions in our research has been: What from BBIC can be found in the OHPeL-project, what has become of the fundamentals in BBIC when they have been introduced into this new context, has the ecological development theory remained in the OHPeL-project, is it possible to say that the OHPeL-project is a further development, distortion or something completely different from BBIC. To find answers to our questions we have studied 17 protocols from evaluationmeetings in the OHPeL project. This led us to the results that BBIC in many ways are present in the project. There are also differences between the projects.

Studien ämnar undersöka om människor med ADHD uppvisar en högre prevalens av otrygg anknytning (enligt testet ASQ) än normalbefolkningen. Metoden som har använts för att mäta detta är en internetbaserad självskattningsenkät; Attachment Style Questionnaire, ASQ, som är ett test som mäter olika kateogier av relationella mönster baserade på anknytningsteori. Testresultatet indikerar en hög förekomst av otrygg anknytning (95 %) i den undersökta gruppen. Med tanke på begränsningar I validiteten främst på grund av endast användningen av enbart ett test för mätning och på grund av att ASQ mäter relationella aspekter i en individ så undersöker studien först och främst resultatet av relationella mönster i gruppen ADHD..

I ett försök att återinföra samarbetet mellan tvärvetenskapliga discipliner och efterfråga ett mer holistiskt synsätt på vetenskap, är uppsatsens syfte följande: Genom en litteraturstudie undersöka ifall det förekommer forskning på tidig anknytning i anslutning till kriminologisk teoribildning. Undersökningen sker genom en sökning på tre viktiga sökord i ett antal kriminologiska databaser. Artiklarna som väljs ut läses sedan igenom för att finna kopplingar till forskning på tidig anknytning. Analysen visade att forskningen inom kriminologin ganska ofta tittar på anknytning som en oberoende variabel, dock är den anknytning som tas upp mer i enlighet med sociala bandteorins begrepp Attachment än med tidig anknytning hos spädbarn..

This thesis aims to identify the building integrated photovoltaic solutions available in the market with respect to general pros and cons of different systems and a technical description of there Attachment system. Investigate and provide examples of various building integrated photovoltaic solutions in Sweden and describe the experiences and results of these projects.The methods used to obtain relevant information are interviews with individuals involved in significant projects and a thorough search of different solutions from solar suppliers.The conclusion is that solar energy is needed for a sustainable society. There are endless opportunities regarding BIPV, with many companies with different products and individual solutions. But so far it?s not so customary in Sweden.

ABSTRACT Behavioural problems are a compound conception for emotional difficulties at different levels. Individuals with behavioural problems could have difficulties with social relations, low self-esteem, anxiety and worry. The purpose with the examination was to describe how clients apprehend their behavioural problems and what they consider could be the causes of it. The examination was based on the qualitative interviews with 5 clients and a professional helper. We came in contact with our clients through our practice.

This is a thesis on the Intranet use in the European Parliament. We investigated the use from a multilingual point of view, but also from a communication perspective. What we wanted to know was how a multilingual group, with presumably different computer skills, in the organisation handle the Intranet information. What are the positive and negative effects of a multilingual information exchange over an Intranet? To find out, we sent a questionnaire as an e-mail Attachment to all members of a chosen committee and their assistants.

Syftet med den här kvalitativa studien var att få en bild av hur vuxna skilsmässobarn upplever att deras personliga utveckling, relationer till föräldrar och kärleksrelationer med partners, påverkats av föräldrarnas skilsmässa. Studien bestod av åtta självvalda kvinnor mellan 25 och 43 år, som upplevt en skilsmässa mellan föräldrarna under barndomen. Halvstrukturerande intervjuer genomfördes och analyserades med hjälp av Grounded Theory metoden. Tre deskriptiva kategorier grundades i datan; föräldraband, personlig utveckling och vacklande perspektiv. Tillsammans bygger de upp kärnkategorin ?Ambivalens i relationer?.

The main purpose of this study is to find out what kind of help social service in one selected municipality in Sweden can provide for children who have witnessed or been victims of domestic violence. Using focus group interview this study investigate how the social workers meet the needs of these children. The bases for our analysis are the Organization Theory and the Attachment Theory, as well as previous research. Important results are that the social services are dependent on notifications in order to do their work and that the most common interventions are foster care, emergency foster care and/or family therapy. The difficulties that social workers perceive their work are unjustified families and heavy workloads.
