This essay examines the limits of marketing strategies in the online casino industry, focusing on how data-driven and advanced marketing practices influence consumer behavior and contribute to problematic gambling consumption. By observing the online casino industry, the study identifies how companies use sophisticated data analysis methods and psychological techniques to attract and retain customers, raising significant ethical and social issues. The study highlights three key perspectives: the consumer's, the producer's, and the legislator's. From the consumer's perspective, it explores how various consumer behaviors, from responsible gambling to problematic overconsumption, are influenced by marketing and gaming experiences. This includes an analysis of how cognitive limitations and psychological biases can lead to irrational decisions and an increased risk of gambling addiction. From the producer's perspective, it examines how gambling companies use marketing strategies and technologies to increase profitability and what incentives they have to take social responsibility according to modern Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles. It appears that companies do not see CSR as a business goal beyond the risk of current and future regulatory compliance requirements and policy changes. From the legislator's viewpoint, the current regulatory framework for the gambling industry is discussed, including the changes that occurred in 2019 when the special monopoly form we had in Sweden was transformed into a license market.

Vindkraften byggs ut i rask takt i Sverige och även uppe i norra delarna, där Skellefteå Kraft är ett av de företag som bygger mycket. Vid kallt klimat som det är i Blaiken stora delar av året finns det risk att det bildas is på vindkraftverken samt på rotorbladen till vindkraftverken. När vindkraftverken dessutom är igång finns det risk för att is slungas iväg och detta kan ske med stor kraft och kan skicka is- och snöklumparna lång väg. I detta arbete behandlas problemet med is och snö som rasar ner och riskerar skador på personal som befinner sig intill vindkraftverken för att ta sig in i dem och arbeta.

Background: Flavan-3-ols are polyphenolic phytochemicals belonging to the flavonoids. Flavan-3-ols are present in many higher plants and are particularly concentrated in e.g. Camellia sinensis (tea) and Theobroma cacao (cacao) and have got attention due to their antioxidative capacity. Many studies have been able to associate flavan-3-ol-rich foods to improved endothelial function. The aim of the present work is to review the scientific literature and evaluate the evidence for positive effects of flavan-3-ols on endothelial dysfunction in humans. Method: Scientific articles describing intervention and observational studies about flavan-3-ols and endothelial dysfunction, were searched for on http://www.pubmed.org.

In many of the disputes concerning custody, residence and visitation determined by the court, some form of violence has been performed. The consequence of a child who has witnessed violence in their homes is a problem that is sometimes overlooked. It is not unusual that the violence will continue even after a separation. The law shows that the child´s need of both parents is to be met. This has according to previous studies resulted in the fact that courts do not always see visitation with a violent parent as a risk for the child.

The change of control clause is nowadays a well used covenant in the Eurobond market, with the aims to protect bondholders in case of a leveraged buyout. This thesis intend to evaluate whether the change of control clause is a new phenomenon in the Eurobond market today and to estimate what have been the driven force for the popularity of it. The thesis found that the change of control clause already existed before and thus it is not a new phenomenon. Several factors where found though to explain the extended use of the clause today. Starting in 2005 the LBO activity increased rapidly, exposing almost every company to the risk of LBO.

The issue of honour related problems in schools are important social problems in Sweden. It?s not unusual that honour related problem has had serious consequences before any action has been inserted by society. Sometimes the efforts made by society have had no impact whatsoever due to them being inserted too late. We can conclude based on our literature and our interviews, the importance of prevention.

Problembakgrund: Sedan revisionsplikten avskaffades för de minsta aktiebolagen i Sverige för snart fyra år sedan har andelen som använder sig av revisor sjunkit med tiden. Lånefinansiering är den mest förekommande formen av extern finansiering för dessa aktiebolag. Teorier och tidigare forskning visar att revision bidrar till att minska informationsassymetri mellan företag och dess intressenter, däribland kreditgivare. Att ett företag väljer bort revisionen bör teoretiskt sett leda till att dessa assymetrier ökar och därmed också riskerna. Det är därför intressant att undersöka hur kreditgivare i Sverige hanterar problemet med att fler och fler små aktiebolag väljer bort revision.Syfte: Att undersöka revisionens betydelse för småföretag för kreditgivare vid beslut om kreditgivning samt de strategier kreditgivare använder sig av för att reducera risk och osäkerhet vid kreditgivning till småföretag.Metod: En kvalitativ metod i form av semi-strukturerade intervjuer.

Problematiken i strategiska samarbeten avseende varumärkesutvidgning ligger i att skapa en gemensam grund för användandet av varumärket, för att undvika varumärkesförsvagning. Det är svårt att förutsäga hur den andre parten kommer att agera och använda varumärket, vilket innebär en risk. Syftet med vår undersökning är att studera hur kommunikation, avseende relationen samt varumärket, tar sig uttryck i ett strategiskt samarbete som bygger på varumärkesutvidgning. Resultatet visar att genom att kombinera formell och informell kommunikation kan ett företag föra över sitt varumärke till ett annat företag, men för att förankra detsamma krävs även att hänsyn tas till kontexten, i vilken mottagaren verkar. Genom samma kombination byggs en relation som baseras på förtroende, vilket kan underlättas genom gemensamma erfarenheter samt val av ett visst språkbruk.

The aim of this study was to examine if an organisation that strives for democracy and participation, also possess an open information culture. This study deals with the information culture in a social movement organisation, Attac Gothenburg. To achieve the aim, following questions were asked: What is the organisation culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, in relation to the identity of the organisation? The focus has been put on earlier research in social movements, organisation and information culture. In this qualitative study I have collected material mainly from interviews.

Context. In today?s society we use smart cards in many areas, NFC is a smart card technology that allows contactless interaction between a reader and the tag, the tag is often in the form of a card. NFC can be used for various payment methods or as access card to a building which makes life easier. In previous studies, the technique has proven to be weak to attacks using an NFC reader connected to a computer.

Barn till psykisk sjuka kan ha ökad risk för psykisk ohälsa men detta kan uppvägas av tillgängliga skyddsfaktorer. Barn har blivit mer uppmärksammade inom vuxenpsykiatrin på senare år. Beardslees familjeintervention implementeras sedan 2008 i Sverige. Studien undersökte hur vuxenpsykiatrin stödjer barn till psykisk sjuka, speciellt angående interventionen. Tio anställda, utbildade i interventionen, från sju psykiatriska kliniker i Stockholm intervjuades.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur fakta konstrueras i situationer där det finns en stor risk att tappa ansiktet. Det sociala fenomenet ansikte studeras med hjälp av Erving Goffmans teori om ansiktsarbete och hans dramaturgiska perspektiv. Goffmans teori kombineras med Jonathan Potters diskursanalytiska teori om hur fakta konstrueras. Ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv tillämpas i studien. Den metod som används är Potters diskursanalytiska metod för analys av faktakonstruktion.

Författarna har upplevt att systemutvecklingspraxis ofta baseras på sekventiella systemutvecklingsmodeller. Med undersökningen vill författarna visa på vilka nackdelar detta eventuellt för med sig för projektets resultat. Among farmers in Sweden hedging of product prices is a relatively new way of thinking. A deregulated market and a more volatile price picture are consequences of the free market and the movements towards globalization. The effects of globalization are largely a demand- and supply driven market. These factors give the farmers incentives to stay informed and to act on their own in order to manage their price risk exposure.The overall purpose with this study is to analyze the farmers? attitudes and awareness of price hedging and to examine what type of decision processes that characterize hedging decisions.The study covers the period 2006 until 2008 and the crops oil seeds, barley (malt), milling wheat, feed wheat, oats and feed oats.
