Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka möjligheter för att genomföra matematikundervisning som tar till vara barns olika förutsättningar. Dessa har identifierats genom att vi kartlagt ett antal hinder, vilka vi fått fram dels genom tidigare forskning inom området och dels genom ett antal kvalitativa intervjuer med förskollärare, grundskollärare och specialpedagog. Några centrala hinder vi fått fram rör lärarnas höga arbetsbelastning, i vissa fall bristfällig ämneskompetens och ett antal yttre faktorer. Implementering av adekvata arbetssätt i förhållande till styrdokumentens mål och intentioner försvåras av ett antal hinder i skolans operativa verksamhet. This thesis deals with oval brooches from the Viking age. The aim of the study is twofold; the first goal is to identify and categorize the brooches according to an already existent scheme, created by two scholars on the subject. Det är en jämförelse utifrån en historisk kontext om industrialiseringens framfart och samarbete branscherna emellan. The purpose of this work is to explore the artistic processes of an ensemble where a musician and one or more dancers play together, either by improvising or by interpreting music that is written for the ensemble. The main themes are about finding ways to work with written material and still keep the communication between the music and the dance alive. The freshwater pearl mussel Margaritifera margaritifera is an endangered species. To survive, the young mussels demand a fairly coarse bottom material containing an appropriate quantity of organic substrate to survive without suffocating. In order to estimate if a bottom is suitable for juvenile mussels, samples of the sediment are needed. To obtain samples a sampling device called the Mulv collector has been developed within this project. Bottom samples were collected from 18 stations in 4 south Swedish streams, Vramsån, Kling-storpsbäcken, Brönnestadsån and Bräkneån.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur lärare arbetar med laborativa inslag i sin matematikundervisning under skolår F-6. Den inledande frågeställningen är vad laborativ matematik innebär. Vidare har jag undersökt hur lärare arbetar med laborativa inslag och vilken betydelse ett laborativt arbetssätt har för lärandet.Resultatet av litteraturstudien riktar sig till frågan vad laborativ matematik är och vilken betydelse det laborativa arbetssättet har för lärandet. Här finns även en beskrivning av det laborativa arbetssättets utveckling i historiskt perspektiv samt tre olika laborativa material som jag har kommit i kontakt med under min utbildning till lärare. Litteraturen visar att laborativ matematik är när eleverna får göra något med sina händer och sina kroppar.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate whether publiclibraries language cafés can support or enable the empowerment of the participants. Empowerment means that the individuals ability to take control of their own lives is strengthened and that the individual becomes more independent. Empowerment also means that the individual takes part in a community. An important part of this is the language. I have developed two research questions: What forms of empowerment can be seen in the respondents' statements? What role do language cafés play for people from other countries, in terms of empowerment? The thesis empirical material consists of interviews whit five people involved in different languages cafes in public libraries in the city of Malmö.

The purpose of this study is to explore students? perceptions and experiences of the school-subject Swedish. Ten qualitative interviews with students in school year nine have been carried out and the results of these interviews constitute the basis of this study. The result shows that students have a straight-forward attitude towards Swedish as a school-subject. The students identify skills such as reading, writing and speaking, and work in school mainly concerns perfecting these skills. The students think of Swedish as a subject with a clear purpose and find it important and useful. The result also shows that the students want grading for the purpose of further motivation.

The aim of the study is to examine a book used as level-based teaching material, Denmagiska kulan (Wänblad, 2011), to analyse the progression within and between thedifferent levels, A, B and C, intended for use in grade 1. The material is designed so thatpupils at different levels in their reading development can share the same literature.Another aim is to study the connection between illustrations and text. This literaturestudy is based on both a qualitative and a quantitative method of analysis. Thequalitative method applies a readability analysis with the focus on the graphic form andthe language of the text. The quantitative method measures the LIX (readability index)of the texts.
