Gardens from the first decades of the 20th century are often described as seen from a sublime ownership perspective. It may be Artists, authors or some other intellectuals, they are all attributed as creators of the referred estate. As far as practically oriented gardeners, constructors or garden consultants are mentioned, they are consequently seen as the mere instruments for carrying out the intentions of the actual owners. Referring to those circumstances it is however well worth notifying that all properties, and in particular the gardens belonging to it, are submitted to a constant change. For anyone acquainted with garden work, it is quite obvious that the gardens vitality is closely related to the ongoing design process, by which form and content are created and re-created.
Stadens vardagsrum - ett kreativ och inspirerande rum
Arbetet ifrågasätter hur torg ser ut och används idag. Detvisar på och diskuterar hur torg skulle kunna se ut ochanvändas i framtiden. Torget representerar ett exempel påen plats och ett rum i staden, vilket också fungerar somavgränsning för arbetet. För att nå fram till målet av arbetet genomfördes en litteraturstudie, samtal med bland annat gestaltare av och i det off entliga rummet, samt analyser av exempelplatser. Litteraturstudien fokuserade på ?torget i staden?och ?människan i stadsrummet?.

When the public artwork Dr?mmarnas monument was installed at G?taplatsen in Gothenburg in
the summer of 2023, it became the starting point for one of Gothenburg's most talked about and
controversial cultural events. Politicians, journalists, Artists and the public made their voices heard,
either criticizing the art installation or defending it. The local newspaper G?teborgs-Posten became
a central arena for this cultural debate.
Pop, identitet och genus i Kamratposten och Julia
AbstractIn this essay I am examining the representation of popmusic with particular focus on gender and identity in two youth magazines called Kamratposten and Julia. Using the method of Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis I have studied ten interviews with popmusicians from each magazine based on the theorys of representations, discourses within popularmusic and queer theory. The intention with this study was to examine how popularmusic is represented in youth magazines. If the magazines were reproducing femininity and masculinity in the interviews with the musicians, and in the representation of popmusic in the magazines. And also if there were any differences and similarities between the magazines regarding the representation of popmusicians.The analysis lead to the conclusions that how popmusic is represented in the magazines depends on what the magazines wan´t to represent on the basis of their target groups and ideologies.
Internet and the digitalization of products: A potent mix or recipe for disaster? A case study of the music industry
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how the ongoing controversy surrounding the Internet, the phenomena of digitalization and file sharing will affect the music industry in the form of the ?big five? labels. Furthermore the thesis aims to present a recipe of strategies for the companies? survival by studying their situation through a theoretical perspective in conjunction with a comparative analysis with industries facing the digitalization challenge. The theoretical contribution lies in the strategic perspective at an industry level.
YouTube och Musikbranschen : En studie i hur artisters användande av YouTube som marknadsföringskanal ser ut i en allt mer digital musikbransch.
Denna uppsats syfte är att analysera hur musikartister använder sig av YouTube som marknadsföringsverktyg, samt vilken betydelse YouTube har för dessa artisters marknadsföring. En kvalitativ och induktiv metod har tillämpats, medan ett antal intervjuer samt en innehållsanalys genomförts som grund till det empiriska materialet. Detta för att få en inblick i musikbranschens syn på ämnet, samt även ge en objektiv bild av hur plattformen används som marknadsföringsverktyg. Slutligen menade studien att ge artister och andra arbetande inom musikbranschen, en bild av hur användandet av denna marknadsföringskanal kan förbättras för att skapa en mer effektiv marknadsföring. Den teoretiska referensramen har utgått från tidigare teorier kring YouTubes betydelse, roller och potential inom musikartisters marknadsföring. Teorier kring YouTubes möjliggörande för artister att upptäckas av A&R personer eller nya fans, YouTubes påverkan på musikvideons roll som marknadsföringsmedel, samt teorier kring plattformens påverkan på maktbalansen inom branschen har legat som grund.

Already 400 B.C. Hippokrates, founder of the art of healing, spoke for the waters important qualities in medical treatements.
After the Greeks the Romans overtook and maintained the polished manners of bathing, and thanks to them the culture spread to the north of Europe. During the middleages the art of swimming was well respected among soldiers and knights, and was frequently practised in tournament games and competitions. At the same time the bathhouses were developed in the towns of Europe.
Om fototextpoesi : Läsningar av mötet mellan fotografisk bild och poetisk text
What is the relation of image and word, of sentences and pictures? What kind of message does this combination produce when juxtaposed on a single material plane? And how do we read its ?infinite? relation? These are the questions at the center of this inquiry. My main interest concerns the exact nature of the relation between photographic images and textual elements of poetic language when these are juxtaposed in what I call Phototext poetry.The thesis calls into question the conventional reading habits of the conjunction of photographs and texts, and seeks to understand the more complex connections intrinsic to the relation image/word and its material and perceptual play in poetic works. Does a text always ?anchor? the multiple meanings of an image, as Roland Barthes argues? What if the alterations of an image could ?anchor? certain fractions of a poetic, polysemantic textual construct? Is a photograph indifferent to the visual, material permutations of texts that certain contemporary poetic practices produce?I discuss phototextual works and collaborations of various kinds, from Molin fontän [?Molin?s fountain?] (1866) over classic surrealist poetry to language-oriented writing.

By utilizing Jürgen Habermas theoretical works on communicative action, and Nancy Fraser?s supplementary reading of his theory, this essay makes clear that the authors? struggle for an understanding and a rethinking of social norms in their plays Skådespelerskan (1873), Romeos Julia (1888) and Lejonets unge (1896) can be read as a contribution to the public debate. Dialogue has a key function for female authors during the Modern Breakthrough. Women and mens? possibilities to take part in conversation and argument as equals, requires the professional woman?s transgression and access to the privileges of both public (State) administration ? ?system?, and world of everyday life ? ?lifeworld?.
