This makes it the only magazine on the Swedish market that aims to reach both sexes within this age group.Our main purpose with this study is to explore how girls and boys are portrayed in Kamratposten in 1993 and 2013. This was done using a quantitative methodology.

From a democratic viewpoint, the way in which the media frames politics is essential. Should issue frames be left out in favor of other types of frames, it could result in voters struggling to make informed decisions come Election Day. What is more, research shows that game frames may cause lack of confidence in politicians and declining political interest. Against this background, the present study aimed to find out how two broadsheets, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet, and two tabloids, Aftonbladet and Expressen, framed politics in connection with the 2014 Swedish parliamentary elections. The thesis also intended to identify possible differences between the two newspaper types and to make tentative comparisons with previous studies so as to be able to comment on framing developments.

Stroke is one of the most common disabiliting diseases. A greater knowledge of the personal experiences after a stroke could improve the rehabilitation and the relations during the rehabilitation. The purpose with this literature review was to describe how strokepatients and their relatives experienced the consequences, rehabilitation and discharge after a stroke. This study is based on nine scientific Articles and the results points out that patients and their relatives experiences can be positively influenced by participation and information..

In the year of 2012, a police project called ?REVA? was established in Sweden. The goal was to increase efficiency in deporting undocumented migrants from Sweden. Two Articles relating to the project were published in Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. One was an open letter to Attorney General Beatrice Ask, written by the famous author Jonas Hassen Khemiri.

Abstract Background: Type 1 diabetes is a chronic disease that worldwide greatly increases among children and adolescents. Major demands are required from the individual who has this disease, which also requires significant knowledge from the nurses so they can be able to develop and create individual conditions for children and adolescents. Thus, the children and the adolescents can be able to take responsibility and feel secure in their own care. The nurse's techniques and specific tools in this work are however not particularly noteworthy and therefore needs to be advised.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the experiences nurses have of supporting adolescents, between 12-18 years, with type 1 diabetes to an increased understanding of the disease and also to examine the methodological aspect data collection in the Articles of this study. Method: A descriptive, literature study according to Polit and Beck (2012).

The purpose of this literature review is to visualize the contributing factors of insufficient hygiene routines and incorrect aseptic handling. Introduction: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a great public health issue that can cause serious physical, psychological and psychosomatic injuries to the woman. Education is one out of many important protective factors against IPV. Aim: This study aimed to investigate the association between women?s educational level and IPV in low- and middle-income countries, the interaction between the education of the woman and the man and IPV, how education on different levels (individual-, family- and community-level) influences IPV and how gender is connected to education and IPV. Method: A literature-based study with 12 selected scientific Articles as the foundation for the analysis was performed.

The purpose of the study was to discover how nurses can maintain a good quality of life for cancerpatients at the end of life. We examined seven scientific Articles in accordance with Polit, Beck & Hungler (2001) criteria for scientific validity. We used Carnevali's (1996) model of demand and resources as a frame of reference. The results showed that physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs affect quality of life in different ways. Wrongly assembled parts leads to quality problems, which makes it important to secure that the assembly is correct. To do this Design For Assembly (DFA) is used to describe how parts should become easier to assemble. Scania?s production unit for engine assembly has had a working method for DFA in the shape of a checklist, which is not used.

The aim of this master thesis is to show how the dissemination of scientific information took place and developed during the 19th century. The main focus is Lund University. Therefore I have formulated two questions: How did the five heads of the history department at Lund University publish their research findings in the 19th century? What factors in society influenced the scientific spreading of results in the 19th century? To assess the scientific reliability of the sources I have used a method based on source criticism and hermeneutics. The thesis covers important concepts such as the exchange of publications between the universities, commercium litterarium and Akademischer Tauschverein and also the development of Lund University yearbook.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how media has followed the Parken Zoo incident and analyse how media convey the issue about the Parken Zoo incident. The different results have been compared. To answer the purpose of the study three issues has been formulated:  how do the different media relate to the ideal of objectivity? Who come across and get to speak in the different media? What differences and similarities are in the media?   The theories that have been used in this study are mainly McCombs theory of agenda setting, Strömbäck?s theory of framing and theory of media logic, Kovach & Rosenstiel theories of journalism and Manning?s theory of objectivity. The methods that have been used are a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative semiotic analysis.

Being isolated means that the patient is in a confined space and may stay only there. Even in ancient times, people discovered the importance of isolating people carrying an infection from the rest of society. According to the Infectious Diseases Act, patients should be isolated in order to reduce the spread of infection both from the patient to the surroundings as well as the opposite. Isolation care can be psychologically stressful for some patients.
