Vargen har varit hatad i alla tider, en symbol för något ont. Den jagar gärna i flock och tar renar och river får. I den här artikelserien undersöks orsaken bakom licensjakten på varg 2010, det vill säga bristen på acceptans, och om det är ett argument för att skjuta 10 procent av vargstammen som idag anses vara akut hotad. Just nu pågår en debatt om huruvida djur är lämpliga på cirkus. Argument emot djur på cirkus säger bland annat att djurens naturliga beteende inte tillgodoses och att djuren måste stå ut med ett odrägligt liv bara för att underhålla oss. Det vi känner är att det ofta saknas tillräcklig kunskap i diskussioner om hur djuren på cirkus lever och att det är svårt att kunna ta ställning till om djur är lämpliga på cirkus eller inte, när vi inte har en objektiv grund att utgå ifrån. För att få en inblick i både domesticerade djurs och mer exotiska djurs liv på cirkus och kunna avgöra om något djurslag eventuellt passar bättre än andra på cirkus, har vi valt att fördjupa oss i två domesticerade djurslag (hund och häst) och tre icke- domesticerade djurslag (elefant, sjölejon och lama), som förekommer på cirkusar i Sverige. Frågeställningar som vi ska försöka besvara: ? Hur lever djuren på cirkus? ? Vilka lagar och bestämmelser skyddar cirkusdjuren och vad säger de? ? Hur lever de djurslag som vi har valt att skriva om i det vilda och vilka särskilda naturliga beteenden och behov har de? ? Är djur lämpliga på cirkus sett utifrån hur de har utvecklats evolutionärt? ? Vilka eventuella beteendestörningar, skador och sjukdomar kan djuren få av ett liv på cirkus? Utifrån dessa frågeställningar försöker vi hitta och sammanställa relevant forskning och statistik för att sedan kunna diskutera hur lämpliga olika djurslag är på cirkus, samt ge en bas åt allmänheten för vidare diskussion..

Detta examensarbete undersöker om det finns argument för att utforma nya mönster för linjeavvattningsgaller. I uppsatsens första del redovisas observationer kring hur de ser ut idag. Därefter undersöks genom litteraturstudier, plats- och studiebesök om det finns teorier som stödjer hypotesen att mönstret på linjeavvattningens galler kan bidra till upplevelsen av en plats. Slutsatsen dras att upplevelsen skulle kunna fördjupas genom ny utformning av linjeavvattningsgaller som ger platsen starkare karaktär och identitet. Tillgänglig litteratur stödjer min hypotes att i de fall linjeavvattning ingår i platsens utrustning skulle sådan utformning kunna bidra till den totala upplevelsen av en plats. Jag vill med detta arbete visa hur det kan ske. Under studiernas gång framträdde samtidigt fler argument rörande det faktum att om stråk är utformade med individuella särdrag så är det lättare att känna sig hemma, orientera sig kring dem och att kunna referera till platsen.

Large retirement numbers and fierce competition of available labour, results in municipalities have to be more attractive as an employer. One way for the municipalities to fulfil their staffing requirement is partly to increase their recruitment efforts, and partly to educate their existing employees. Discussions about the supply of competence are therefore pressing within municipal activity. The aim of the study was to investigate how the concept of competence is used within a municipal administration. The method that has been used is Norman Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis, a method that allows multi dimensional analysis.

The purpose of this paper is to compare the content and political message in the election posters of the political parties Sverigedemokraterna and Feministiskt Initiativ. This is achieved through a qualitative content analysis combined with text and rhetorical analysis as well as semiotics. Out of all the election posters from Sverigedemokraterna and Feministiskt Initiativ with national spread, eight were analyzed. The conclusions of this analysis are that both political parties prefer posters with high text content with the main purpose of gathering votes, and that persons were used as motives with the objective to present the party representatives and strengthen their perceived ethos..

Denna uppsats handlar om gudsbevis; om det är väsentligt att de finns och hur trovärdiga de förekommande är. För att behandla detta ämne har jag läst böcker som jag ansett varit relevanta i frågan. Det mest omdiskuterade gudsbeviset är det "ontologiska", först formulerat av Anselm av Canterbury. Han hävdade att eftersom existens i verkligheten alltid är större än existens enbart i medvetandet, och vi kan tänka oss ett väsen så stort att vi inte kan tänka oss något större, så måste detta väsen även existera i verkligheten. The purpose of this thesis is to present a number of examples of how the debate concerning same-sex marriages in Sweden was conducted in religious media between the year of 2005 and May 1st 2009. I intend to examine if and how these debate articles can be descibes as examples of religion taking part in the public sphere according to José Casanovas theory of deprivitization and public religion (1994) and Jürgen Habermas theory of religion in the public sphere (1964, 1989, 2006, 2008). I will apply the theories to the material by using four criteria for public religion, based on Casanovas and Habermas two theories, designed by Marta Axner. I also intend to compare the arguments used in the material to the arguments found in Marta Axners dissertation Public Religions in Swedish Media (2013). To identify these arguments a textanalysis containing seven argumentschemes, designed by Gunnar Björnsson (1994), is applied.

With theories of creativity and aesthetic learning processes as a basis, this study explores the usage of the concept of creativity in the curriculum for the Swedish compulsory school (Lgr11) and in the various syllabi?s commentaries and the assessment guidelines for the subject of Sloyd produced by the Swedish National Agency for Education. The purpose of the study is, to examine to which extent an education and assessment that is directed towards the development of creativity among pupils in the subject of Sloyd, is underpinned and supported for in these texts, and furthermore how these wordings relate to the various other subjects? wordings about creativity. ABSTRACT The purpose of this essay has been to analyse an incident that received huge attention in the media that took place on February 24 2011 involving the famous fashion designer John Galliano. Galliano who at the time served as a creative director at French luxury fashion house Dior hurled anti-Semitic remarks during an altercation to a couple at Paris café La Perle. We intended to do a study of the material in two parts. The primary focus of our thesis was to analyse six different newspaper articles that involved the incident. We chose to analyse three articles from Great Britain and three from the United States to get a versatile image of the incident.

This thesis focuses on Chinese?Swedish code-switching of bilingual children in Sweden. The purpose is to, through a case study, study what Chinese?Swedish code-switching looks like in daily conversations between bilingual children and their parents. Three main questions are formulated from the purpose of the thesis, foucusing on the types and frequencies of code-switching, the grammar of code-switching, and the motivation of code-switching.The linguistic material comes from voice recordings of naturally occurring conversations between three children and their parents, which are transcribed afterwards.

This study concerns how Muslims are portrayed in a choice of twelve news articles from Swedish dailies and tabloid newspapers on the aftermath of the film Innocence of Muslims published on YouTube. All articles are distributed in the newspapers Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet in the period of September 11th, 2012 until September 30th, 2012.For this study, a qualitative text analysis has been embraced and focus has been on van Dijk?s Critical discourse analysis to the texts, with additional features from semiotics applied on the images.The theories consist of Critical discourse analysis, hegemony, ideology and power, postcolonialism and stereotyping.In the qualitative content analysis, concrete examples from the articles are retrieved and commented. These have been divided into various themes, which are trends that the authors have been able to distinguish in the analysis.The result shows that Muslims in the analyzed newspapers are portrayed as the others, unimportant and extremely religious, in a negative manner rather than a positive. Moreover the press has tendencies to generalize Muslims as a group.

Title: Veingeskolan F - Investigation of the indoor environment and a structural analysisMethod: Complete analysis of structural drawings to determine if the school have been constructed correctly. In my teorethical studies of the drawings I must seek out points that may have been damaged from moisture, this contains a full survey of the foundation, walls and ceiling. To strenghten the data collected from the drawings I must visit the school and do field investigations to find out if the school has any problems with the indoor environment.Analysis: I determined that we had some damages on specific places, these damages was caused by leaking roofs, a carpet that was tarnished by strong sunlight in connection with some type of glue and also the ventilation that may have been drawing malodorous air from a shaft in the foundation.Conclusion: I was able to see that the decision to demolish the school was quite drastic, if the county would have done continuous fixups on the construcion when the employes had complained maybe the action to the tear the school down would have been unnecessary. The purpose of this Masters thesis is to analyze the research front within medical ethics. We wish to identify which research themes that are included in the subject field of medical ethics. The research themes can be identified by a couple of bibliometrical methods and techniques. In our case, it is bibliographic coupling combined with a cluster analysis. The analysis is accomplished by the extracted references from articles in the two journals Bioethics and Journal of medical ethics.
