I detta arbete är syftet att undersöka förhållningssätt kring lärandet om religion i förskolan. Förskolan är en Arena för möten och många aktörer kring barnet möts på förskolan. Förskolepedagoger möter inte bara barnen utan även deras föräldrar och de önskemål som de har. Förskolepedagoger möter även de krav som samhället ställer. För att kunna ringa in förhållningssätt kring dessa möten har jag tillämpat ett praxisnära samarbete med ett arbetslag på en förskola.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) was ratified by Sweden in 1990. Among its principles is devotion to the best interests of the child (article 3). This principle is hard to define, and it is difficult to find studies on how children express themselves about how the convention should be realized. The Swedish government wants local councils to introduce routines that follow the proposed rights. The Swedish school system is an important Arena where UNCRC?s rights can be put into practice.

The bachelor thesis examines conceptions behind the Swedish public librarian?s opinions of the public library as a meeting place. The study uses the critical discourse analysis, developed by Ernest Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, to analyze a focus group interview. The discourse analysis identifies four themes in the empirical material: the imagined Arena of the meeting place, the behaviour in the meeting place, the meeting place?s librarian and the polemic against the meeting place.

Swedish preschools have a variety of children of different ethnic origins. The intention of this thesis is twofold; firstly to deeply examine how preschool teachers work with languages and secondly how to integrate the Swedish language with other native languages in practice. Hence, the aim is to get a deeper understanding and knowledge about how to integrate multilingual children that have other languages than Swedish as their mother tongue. The data collection for this dissertation is based on observations and interviews with three preschool teachers and child minders. The theoretical background is taken from literature which describes the social cultural perspective.

Essän belyser de problem som kan uppstå i utvecklingen av ett yrkesutövande på en skola eller en arbetsplats. Problem som är svåra att sätta ord på och som framstår som dilemman då de är abstrakta i sin utformning.Att lära sig ett yrke kan vara svårt, framför allt de yrken som kräver en speciell yrkeskunskap som kan vara svår att sätta ord på. Den tysta kunskapen. Att lära ut denna kunskap kräver speciella metoder. I denna essä har dialogseminariemetoden använts som är ett sätt att reflektera över kunskap och lärande.

This study is based on previous research concluding that sub-national actors now function on a complex Arena where the nation state is not the sole and self-evident channel to the European Union. Based on that assumption, the thesis is intended to create understanding of the nature of the relationship between the West Sweden regional office and its Värmland commissioners in the case of regional action.The relationship between the regional office and its members was examined in a case study of open consultation around the EU?s new EU 2020 strategy. The questions posed in the thesis are answered by interviews with representatives of West Sweden and certain Värmland members of that organization. The results of the interviews were then analyzed based on a fusion perspective, which addresses various indicators for regional action.The results of the study show that the West Sweden regional office can assume a clearer role in regional influencing, but also that Region Värmland plays an important role in influencing the EU.

With this thesis I wanted to find out how a teacher-team in Stockholm reason about and whether they have specific expectations of male teachers in the early school years. Interviews with five teachers from pre-school to grade 3 and in after-school have shown that specific expectations of male teachers is something obvious. Are male teachers expected to enter into the role of male role models to contribute with masculinity and a male perspective? However, the informants are not able to define how a male role model is or should act. Men and women are often defined as two separate, and often as opposite, groups.

In today's society social movement are dependent on media as a channel to com-municate their political message and their discourse. Media is an Arena for dis-courses but at the same time, along with Attac, one of the actors who struggle to be part of the dominant discourse of the society. This struggle is uneven due to media and the relationship is to some content hegemonic.Attac Sweden was constituted in January 2001 and got an enormous amount of attention in media. But after the riots during the Göteborg European Council in June 2001, that Attac was partly blamed for, the attention in media has faded out. This paper shows that the images of Attac in media hasn?t been favouring the movement, especially during and after the meeting in Gothenburg.

Denna studie behandlar de statliga intressen som bidrar till att Nato fortsätter att vara en attraktiv institution för stater, då hotet den bildades för att möta har försvunnit. Jag har utgått ifrån min hypotes att det finns varierande intressen hos staterna beroende på deras kapacitet och maktposition i systemet, som gör det lönsamt för staterna att fortsätta verka inom institutionen. I studien används realismen för att finna och identifiera dessa intressen hos USA, Frankrike och Polen som alla är medlemmar av Nato, men även den liberala institutionalismen avvänds som ett komplement till realismen. Mina resultat bekräftade min hypotes om staternas egenintressen i organisationen, och visade att Nato främst är en Arena för staterna att utöva och utöka sin makt och sitt inflytande över andra stater. I USA:s fall handlar det om att fördröja och kanske förhindra att ett europeiskt försvarssamarbete tar form och utvecklar kapacitet att utmana deras unipolära ställning.

Detta är ett självständigt arbete bestående av en uppsats och en produkt som utformats inom förskollärarprogrammet vid Uppsala universitet i nära samarbete med Museum Gustavianum. Undersökningar visar att museer och förskola/skola ofta vill samarbeta, men att detta samarbete ofta uteblir trots den goda viljan. I detta examensarbete har vi valt att titta närmre på vilka trösklar som finns och utvecklat en produkt för att främja användandet av museum som Arena för lärande.Som ett led i produktutvecklingen har vi i förarbetet gjort en omvärldsanalys. I denna ingår en enkätundersökning, två observationer av guidade visningar, ett besök på museet med en barngrupp samt inläsning av tidigare forskning på området.Produkten är ett förberedelsematerial för förskolan i form av en berättelse, tänkt att kunna användas av pedagoger och barn inför ett besök på Museum Gustavianum. Ambitionen är att materialet ska väcka upptäckarlust och ge en introduktion och förkunskaper genom text och bild.

Den här studien genomfördes för att undersöka det demokratiska uppdragets innebörd för lärare och rektorer inom fritidshemmets verksamhet. Undersökningens frågeställning var även att ta reda på hur ledarskapet ser ut i det demokratiska uppdraget. Undersökningen genomfördes genom att vi delade ut enkätfrågor till tre fritidspedagoger, tre förskollärare samt fyra rektorer, varav två biträdande rektorer. Informanterna arbetar på två skolor i två skilda kommuner i södra Sverige. Studien visar att det demokratiska uppdraget handlar om respekt, allas lika värde trots olikheter samt att lära sig regler och samspela med andra.

Over the last decades there has been a steady increase in the representation of women on the political Arena. Despite of this there are still fewer women in comparison to men in political organs particularly at the municipal level. It is therefore of great importance to examine which different factors that tend to effect the female representation at this level. Doctor of philosophy at Umeå University Jessika Wide presented in a study from 2000 that the share of women in the municipal councils tended to depend upon cultural, socio-economical and political factors. Other scholars also mean that women have specific interests and therefore are more represented in some areas.

The relationship between the government and organised interest in Sweden has changed. Formally considered as a good example of a corporatist state the country during the last 15 years or so experienced a more pluralistic system. This thesis is a qualitative study which discusses how interest groups seek to influence decision makers and policy thru lobbying and public opinion. It also examines how interest groups work with advertising and public relations in a changed climate of mass media. The main method of gathering material has been done thru interviews of representatives of different interest groups.The results of the study paint a picture where the interviewed organizations experience a vast competition in communication and information.

Time changes, so also in sport. The small venues become larger and more modernized. As stadiums grows, so also does sponsorship and its popularity, around them. Is it enough as a sponsor only to expose yourself these days, or does the new times require more creativity to stand out from all the media?This work is done for Stadium AB in Norrköping, and treats questions such as; what type of sposnorcummunication that is proper to use around the soccer stadium, and if it is possible for new ideas in the future when Stadium is hosting a game? To answer these questions theory has been read about sponsorship and data has been gathered through qualitative interviewswith soccer clubs and sponsorship consultants.The work result shows that there are some general rules that the company should follow tosucceess when hosting a game.

This bachelor thesis, written as a part of the European Studies at Gothenburg University, is concerned with the European Unions? (EU) climate political governance in their both climate- and agricultural policy, and in particularly the question whether it is sustainable. This thesis intends to problematize if it is possible for the EU to continue to pursue its current agricultural policies, while at the sametime maintain its role as a sustainable actor on the global Arena. The framework of theEUs? climate policy governance disciplines this analysis.
