Naturen - en pedagogisk arena i de tidiga skolåren? : en jämförande studie av pedagogers syn på utomhuspedagogik i en landsbygdskommun och i en stadskommun
Syftet med studien är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning pedagoger i en landsbygdskommun respektive en stadskommun använder sig av naturen som en pedagogisk arena, vilket syfte de har med utevistelserna samt vad de ser för fördelar och nackdelar med att undervisa utomhus. Metod: Vi har valt att göra en jämförande studie mellan pedagogers syn på utomhuspedagogik i en landsbygdskommun och i en stadskommun. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ och kvantitativ enkätundersökning med strukturerande frågor som utgår från våra frågeställningar. Resultat: Resultatet visade att samtliga pedagoger var positiva till utomhuspedagogik. Resultatet visade även att pedagogerna på landsbygden, i betydligt större utsträckning än pedagogerna i staden undervisar utomhus.

Studierna är även allt som oftast generella och behandlar inte ishockeyn separat från andra idrotter vilket medför ett akademiskt tomrum. Denna studie åsyftar till att bidra med ny kunskap och utgöra en språngbräda för fortsatt forskning.Syfte:Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vad Luleå Hockeys åskådare anser om publikupplevelsen i Coop Norrbotten Arena i dagsläget och vad - om alls något - de anser kan göras för att skapa en mer tillfredsställande upplevelse.Metod:Studien har tillämpat en hermeneutisk kunskapsteoretisk utgångspunkt och det empiriskt insamlade materialet har inhämtats genom webbenkäter, fysiska enkäter, intervjuer och observationer. I och med att mer än en insamlingsmetod har valts har metodtriangulering tillämpats i denna studie som uttryckligen har en kvalitativ ansats.Resultat:Studiens resultat påvisar att det finns utrymme för utveckling vad avser publikupplevelser i Coop Norrbotten Arena.

Ridsporten är Sveriges näst största ungdomssport endast fotbollen är större. En miljon svenskar kommer i kontakt med hästar på ett eller annat sätt och cirka 500 000 rider regelbundet för motion, rekreation eller tävling. 200 000 är medlem i någon av Svenska ridsportsförbundets 980 klubbar. Svenska ridsports förbundet har sett att det blir allt populärare att skaffa egen häst antingen är den uppstallade hemma eller så hyrs en box i ett stall. I ett stall vistas flera individer på en begränsad yta som de ska samsas om.
Yrkesofficerares drivkrafter : En studie i motivationsfaktorer hos svenska yrkesofficerare
Denna explorativa studie genomfördes med en flerfaldig forskningsstrategi. Empirin bygger på intervjuer och enkäter med totalt 238 officerare varav 228 var yrkesverksamma vid studiens genomförande. Undersökningsfrågorna avhandlade drivkrafter som fick yrkesofficeren att vara kvar i yrket. Resultatet av undersökningen gav att de avgörande drivkrafterna för officersyrket bestod av ett flertal faktorer vilka inordnade under Maslows behovsteori visade sig fylla alla steg i behovshierarkin. Vissa av de avgörande faktorerna uppvisade dock skillnader i viktningsgrad främst beroende av variabler som ålder och vapengrenstillhörighet, men även av variabler som motivationsnivå, utlandserfarenhet samt tidigare civil erfarenhet.

Nattklubbslivet i Karlstad ser idag helt olika ut vid en jämförelse mellan torsdagar och helgdagar. På torsdagar har Arena mest gäster medan Nöjesfabriken och Blue Moon Bar har de flesta gästerna på helger. Studenterna spelar här en viktig roll då främsta anledningen till Arenas popularitet på torsdagar beror på att de anordnar studenttorsdagar. Arena ser sedan ett mönster att studenterna väljer de andra nattklubbarna på helgerna och det här vill de ändra på. Syftet med uppsatsen är att klarlägga vilka faktorer som ligger till grund för studenters val av nattklubb, att försöka hitta förklaringar på studenters attityder gentemot nattklubben för att försöka ändra dessa samt att klargöra genom vilka kanaler som studenterna med fördel kan nås.Den teoretiska referensramen är indelad i tre olika avsnitt; begrepp, konsumentbeteende och marknadskommunikation.I en kvantitativ enkätundersökning som gjorts vid Karlstads universitet har 184 studenter svarat på frågor vi funnit relevanta för syftet.
Staden som arena : arbetsmetod för områdesdesign till gatufestivaler
Studien tog sin början genom ett uppdrag från festivalledningen för Piteå Dansar och Ler. Uppdraget bestod i att uppmärksamma brister i festivalområdets områdesdesign. Under uppdraget framkom att begreppet områdesdesign var oklart och att innebörden växlade beroende på vem jag frågade. Komplexiteten hos begreppet ledde till att studien riktades mot att definiera begreppet områdesdesign.
Vid gatufestivaler används stadens centrum som arena. Detta innebär att funktioner och användningsområden, till exempel scener och toaletter, måste anpassas estetiskt och funktionellt till den befintliga stadsmiljön.
