This paper examines if European integration has had an impact on national political parties by looking at the stances of the Swedish Green Party and the Left Party on the issue of the European Community and the European Union over time. With the development of the European Community and the European Union, national political parties face the challenge of an emerging political arena. European integration research has recently become more involved with what is called europeanization and political integration within the member states them self, this paper aims to provide further leverage to the thesis that national political actors undergo some degree of europeanization and are politically integrated in the EU, by examining manifestos of two historically eurosceptic Swedish political parties. The theoretical framework provided by neo-functional integration theory as well as europeanization is used to examine the empirical material in order to see if the political parties at the focal point of this study can be said to have undergone a change in political policy regarding the EC and EU, both in quantity and content. The analysis show that indeed both parties has undergone a change and what might be considered a europeanization, considering that the presence of the EU as a political issue seem to have risen in prominence and importance in the examined manifestos.

Hälsa och idrott är idag mer eller mindre en del av alla svenskars vardag vilket sätter pressaktörer på marknaden. Ett brett utbud och bra service förväntas oavsett vilken anläggning sombesöks vilket ställer mycket höga krav på både anläggningar och aktörer. I många fall saknarkommuner resurser för att prioritera frågan och en lösning på problemet kan vara offentligprivatsamverkan (OPS) där en kommun ingår en samverkan med en privat aktör. Då det vidstudiens början saknades forskning kring hur identiteter kan samsas inom ett varumärkeämnar denna studie att undersöka hur två parter som ingått OPS kan kommunicera sinidentitet på ett enhetligt vis för att skapa ett enat uttryck.Då studien syftar till att undersöka två parter som ska rymmas inom ett varumärkeundersöktes teorier kring vad som ligger till grund för en stark identitet och image och hurobalans mellan flera identiteter kan upptäckas och åtgärdas. Då en kvalitativ studie med enblandad metod av fallstudie och tvärsnittsstudie utfördes har datainsamling skett genomkvalitativa intervjuer, en kvalitativ enkät samt genom att studera upphandlingsdokument.Studieobjektet Arena Grosvad valdes för fallstudien eftersom det ansågs vara ett lämpligtstudieobjekt då det är en idrottsanläggning som ägs av en kommun men drivs av en privataktör genom OPS.

With this research we aimed to seek how youth workers express their experience of counselling on the internet compared to traditional counselling face to face with a theoretical ground in semiotics and symbolic interactionism. Our questions were 1) How do youth workers describe their experiences from anonymous, faceless online counselling? 2) How do youth workers experience the differences between online counselling and the traditional face-to-face counselling? 3) Which possibilities and difficulties do they see in online communication with adolescents? We used semi-structed interviews with seven youth workers. Six of those are active in non-profit organisations, and one in social services. The results from our interviews showed that the interviewees saw that misunderstandings were more frequent on the internet, but that online counselling with adolescents still was easier than in the face-to-face meetings.

Audiological rehabilitation is a complex process and can involve medical, educational, psychological, social and technical proceedings. The audiologist's part in this process is essential. The purpose of the study was twofold: to describe the audiologist's working process and to explore patient records written by audiologists according to structure, content and comprehensiveness. Method. Out of rules and regulations, code of ethics and literature concerning audiological rehabilitation from the audiologist's point of view, a model for the audiologist's working process was developed.

Denna uppsats behandlar barns sexualitet inom förskolans arena. Syftet är att problematisera förskolebarns sexualitet och analysera förskollärares förutsättningar att arbeta med detta utifrån valda dokument samt hur detta kan påverka barns utveckling. Metoden som används för att besvara forskningsfrågorna är en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Därtill används både förskolans och grundskolans läroplan för att urskilja hur ämnet sex- och samlevnad behandlas inom utbildningsväsendet. Även Malmö högskolas utbildningsplan tillämpas för att synliggöra förskollärares utbildning angående barns sexualitet och ett dokument som beskriver kommitténs uppdrag samt förslag till ett måldokument gällande de pedagogiska verksamheterna.

In Stockholm there are currently five women, out of a total of 102 employees, working in public sports arenas. In sports arenas men are numerically superior amongst the workers as well as the visitors. These arenas are in many ways male dominated, masculinized environments. In this essay I investigate the reasons behind the uneven distribution, in terms of gender, among sports arena workers. I do this by interviewing seven female sports arena workers (the five current and two former), and by observing their workplaces.

The governing set of regulations for structural engineering in Sweden used to be Boverket, BKR. However in the beginning of the 21st century a changeover to new regulations, the Eurocodes, started.The transition was completed in year 2011 when the Eurocodes became the mandatory design work policy for all countries within the European Union. The Eurocodes were implemented to simplify and remove potential barriers to trade that may exist when countries have different design rules.  Since the changeover it has been important for all construction companies to update their knowledge base and their design software.When comparing the two calculation processes they seem similar, but there are a couple of differences worth noting.  With the new regulations, engineers will find that the process when designing joints in timber structures has changed.  What used to be a fairly easy and straight forward calculation procedure has now become tedious and time consuming.The objective of this degree project is to present a product, a dimensioning tool that will help structural engineers when computing lateral load carrying joints in timber structures.The degree project is made up of two parts where the first part is the written report describing the background and theory behind load carrying computations. The second part of the project is the actual dimensioning tool which includes several worksheets in Microsoft Excel. Mobbning har länge varit ett problem bland barn och ungdomar och framförallt inom skolans verksamheter. I och med internets snabba utveckling har mobbningen börjat tas i uttryck på en ny arena, nämligen internet. Detta kallas ofta för nätmobbning. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur fyra olika grundskolor hanterar och förebygger nätmobbning med stöd av lagar och riktlinjer. Vidare är syftet att få en förståelse för hur nätmobbning kan förebyggas genom att undersöka några faktorer som gör att fenomenet uppstår.

Studien syftar till att ge en bild av den verklighet som pedagoger beskriver genom sina egna erfarenheter. Deras arbete med elever utgör varje skolas kärnverksamhet. En skola som det ställs många skilda förväntningar på från det omgivande samhället, pedagoger, föräldrar och elever. De erfarenheter och uppfattningar som pedagogerna bär med sig bemöter de sina elever med i sin undervisning. Bemötandet påverkar i sin tur den syn som eleverna sedan ser på sig själva med.

The main environmental problem for aviation is the great amount of exhaust gases, mainly nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons - mostly "greenhouse gases" leading to climate changes. I decided to sort out what is being done to decrease these problems and what regulations there are concerning air pollution by the means of searching the internet and using publications from aviation authorities for current figures. I chose to scrutinize authorities on political, authority and company level, resulting in summarizing the work of UN and EU respectively, ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), JAA (Joint Aviation Authorities) and LFV (Swedish Civil Aviation Authority), and finally SAS, representing the airline companies. Conclusion that I have drawn are thatthere are regulations for air pollution, written down in ICAO's Annex 16, that are to be followed. Secondly, LFV are environmentally controlling their nineteen airports and since economy is an important reason for not giving priority to environmental issues in aviation emission charge and noise charge are added to the landing fees.

The purpose with this final assignment is to find out how the old and the new regulations about Goodwill affect the Swedish companies, how their results and value of Goodwill changed since the regulation from IFRS took place. We will attempt to find out if the companies are better of with a yearly write-off or an impairment test every year to see if a write-down is necessary..

Report of diploma work conducted at the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM) as part of the bachelors program in Nuclear Engineering at Uppsala University.All nuclear power plants in Sweden are obliged to report any deficiency in their barriers or the defense in depth in obedience to SSM?s regulations concerning safety in nuclear facilities. In addition, there is an international system for reporting such events. The purpose of this thesis is to study the Swedish report system and to analyze the differences between Swedish and international event reporting.In the Swedish system, SSM?s regulations are effectuated by means of event reports classified as category 1-3, designed individually at each Swedish facility.

The purpose of this study was set against the background that social media today are used as an platform for companies to communicate with their customers, as well as communicate their brand. Therefore it was interesting to examine this phenomenenon through a critical point of view and try to put light on the different forms of power that is produced on this arena.The overall aim of this study was to examine how PR-consultants talk about social media as a communication channel. The empirical data consisted of five interviews with PR-consultants on five different PR-agencies. The theoretical framework was based on a social constructional perspective and Foucault?s theory of power.

NCC has given us a commission to investigate a planned housing area in Haga, Karlstad, situated close to the traffic route Hagaleden and the railway. The housing area consists of one hundred apartments in five different houses. The houses are linked to each other by balconies with glass panels. A long carport is situated between Hagaleden and the housing area to absorb part of the noise from the road. The design of the housing area is creating a silent backyard.

Syftet med vårt utvecklingsarbete var att genom pedagogledda aktiviteter arbeta med att öka samhörigheten i elevgruppen på fritidshemmet. Genom vårt arbete ville vi ge eleverna verktyg för att skapa nya kamratrelationer. Arbetet genomfördes på ett fritidshem med elever från förskoleklass upp till årskurs två. Genomförandet bestod av fem olika aktiviteter som var baserade på elevernas intresse och önskemål. För att analysera verksamheten använde vi oss av observation och informella elevsamtal, vilket hjälpte oss att få fram viktig information för vidare arbete.
