The aim of this project is to investigate the meeting between the city and the sea and tolook into how that could be developed and made use of. I want to find out how you can increase the availability of a specific place and make it more welcoming, I also want to bring life to an already existing space and create a central meeting place in the city. The purpose is to give form to an esplanade along a dock in the central parts of Kalmar. Starting with an analysis of this public place, I want to create a concept that is close to the existing context and communicates the contrasts or associations between for example: city and nature, artificial and natural and indoor and outdoor. The primary object of the project is to add a welcoming, public place to the city where you on an accessible way canfamiliarize yourself with the meeting between the city and the sea.

The proportion of elderly people in Sweden is increasing. Many of these live at home and as their age increases so does the likelihood of health problems and the need for support, medical attention and care. Personnel working with home help provide a large part of this care, including Areas of home-based care that are the responsibility of the district nurse. The purpose of this paper is to describe how home-help personnel perceive their work in the Area of home-based care, as their views are an important factor in the ability to provide a care system that funktions successfully. The method employed here is phenomenografic and nine subjects from a home-help group have been interviewed.

A qualitative study with interviews was combined with a quantitative survey study. On the basis of the theories we could analyze the collected data and fulfill the papers purpose. Results: Important features and differences in services and products were identified and the importance of a strong brand identity before an extension.

Arkitektkontoret Sweco Architects i Göteborg har tagit fram ett förslag för ett bostadsområde i Varberg, där Varbergs kommun var beställare. De föreslog att ett eget områdesförslag skulle tas fram i Revit Architecture utifrån de planbestämmelser som gäller i området. Som en fördjupning i detta arbete valdes att även studera arbetsprocessen i programmet samt hur denna process kan tidsoptimeras. Ett problem idag är att en sådan process kan vara tidskrävande och ineffektiv. Syftet med detta arbete var att finna idéer på hur processen kan effektiviseras och att utveckla kunskaperna om Revit.Som en inledning modellerades hur området ser ut idag i Revit utifrån en ritning skapad i AutoCAD.

The aim with this study is to examine how students and teachers value source criticism. Partly, this regards how teachers practice this in their teaching and how students work with it during lessons ? but also how students value source criticism in situations where the teacher not has pointed out that this topic is part of the actual assignment. Moreover, there is a focus on investigating how students who are critical of the sources take this into account in their daily lives; for example, when they surf on the Internet or when they discuss news articles or other media. This essay is based on interviews with students and teachers, using a qualitative method. The results of this study show that both students and teachers find source criticism to be of major importance.

Semi-natural pastures are important in many respects for example to conserve the biodiversity and for our cultural history. The aim of my study was to compile and calculate the Area of semi-natural pastures by use existing sources of information.

De gamla ängs- och betesmarkerna hör till Sveriges artrikaste biotoper, ofta med en mycket hög arttäthet inom både flora och fauna. Ängs- och betesmarker har minskat kraftigt under det senaste århundradet vilket har lett till en utarmning av den biologiska mångfalden. Denna undersökning sker i samarbete med Täby kommun och syftet är att undersöka 10 olika ängs- och betesmarker för att få en uppdaterad bild av hävdtillståndet och vilka åtgärder som är mest lämpliga att sätta in.Detta arbete avser att fungera som en grund där framtida undersökningars resultat kan jämföras med för att se vilket resultat de insatta åtgärderna gett. Metoderna som använts är en allmän artinventering, art/Area analys och successionskategorier utarbetade av Urban Ekstam samt studier av indikatorarter och lokalernas allmänna utseende exempelvis om mycket gammalt gräs finns i lokalen. Art/Area- kurvorna studeras vilka genom sin lutnig och form visar vilken arttäthet som råder i det studerade växtsamhället.Flera av de undersökta lokalerna visar tecken på igenväxning och domineras främst av konkurrenskraftiga kvävegynnade arter. Dock finns ofta mindre bestånd kvar av hävdgynnad flora vilka skulle få en chans till expansion om en intensivare hävd sätts in.

This paper discusses the world heritage of Falun and its influence on the marketing of Falun as a destination. The reason for this study is the fact that world heritage nominations can lead to an increased pressure on the destination and an increase in popularity for the place. A world heritage is something unique and odd that can be used in the marketing of the destination in the purpose of attracting tourists, company investments and so on. It has been vital for the study to interview people that work with marketing or have important rolls within the world heritage.With this background the study is focused on three major questions:What meaning does the world heritage have in the marketing of Falun?Is the world heritage important for Falun?
