The Dairy business is changing a lot because of some scandals in the agricultural Area for example the BSE crises in Great Britain. Because of the scandals the food industry and the farm association have created a certifying system; IP-Sigill Swedish standard system. We contacted Skånemejerier as they have been successful in the certifying Area. They asked us if we wanted to do a study in the certifying Area of dairy farmers. At Skånemejerier they gave us most of the literature in the Area about certifying. The result of the study, is that we have taken up the most common remark?s. The most frequent remark is journal over routines in management of dairy cows on daily basis. Another remark of the study is that the frequency of the remarks decreases with greater production..

In this project, an Area in the small town Tungelsta south of Stockholm, is in focus. Tungelsta is placed in the municipality of Haninge and it is for the planning department on the municipality, this project is made. The task is to compose an arrengement of buildings and open spaces for a 50 hektar Area. Today the Area is consists of agriculture fields and forests. The Area is placed near the railway station, in the city centre of Tungelsta, which makes it interesting and important to work with. There are different opinions about the future plans for the Area.

This paper investigates, through an actor-network theory perspective, how the recreation Area Lo?vsta-Kyrkhamn-Riddersvik northwest of Stockholm has developed from being a dumping site into becoming a nature reserve. This investigation also tries to describe and explain which values that have been promoted in the Area by the local voluntary associations and companies. Lo?vsta-Kyrkhamn-Riddersvik has been inhabited for more than 3000 years, originally with farming as the most important business.

In this master thesis we suggest a recreational directed forest management plan for the Skedalaskogen. The forest is situated 10 kilometres east of the city of Halmstad and is owned by the municipality. We have in literature and in research investigated what people like and want in the forest, how to manage the forest for recreation according to for example tree species, mixtures and density. We tried to adapt the forestry methods more to recreational thinking. We have also looked at issues like what is rare and not rare in this part of the country according to nature and forest, where people live and which connection they have to the Skedalaskogen. The Skedalaskogen is a quite big Area, totally 830 hectares. The Area have about 100 000 visitors a year.

This Master's thesis work was done at SLU, Uppsala, Sweden in cooperation with Upplandsstiftelsen and Uppsala County Council. The studied Area is pointed out as an Area for EU´s LIFE project, NATURA 2000, concerning the Scarabid beetle Osmoderma eremita. The studied Area lies in an agricultural landscape rich on deciduous trees, about 15 km south of Enköping in the County of Uppland. The species is dependent on large, old, hollow trees, which are exposed to sunlight, usually oak trees in this Area. I studied the Area in detail concerning large old trees (>70cm ø), middle-aged oak trees and young oak trees.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka om och hur elever uppfattar begreppen omkretsoch Area. Då vi båda studerar till matematiklärare anser vi att detta arbete kan stärka oss i vårlärarroll samt utveckla oss inom arbetsområdet geometri.Vi började med att göra en diagnos med ca 40 elever. Genom att djupintervjua tre av elevernafick vi en bättre förståelse för varför eleverna svarade som de gjorde på diagnosen.Genom att göra en läromedelsgranskning av de aktuella läroböckerna ville vi se om dessa kanspela roll när det gäller elevernas kunskap inom detta område.Resultatet visar att de flesta eleverna klarade att räkna uppgifter inom området omkrets ellerArea och använda sig av dessa begrepp när uppgiften var ?given?, på så sätt att eleverna får vetavad som ska räknas ut (Area eller omkrets). Problemen dyker upp när eleverna får svårareuppgifter som är konstruerade på ett sådant sätt att de inte får en given metod att lösa uppgiften,det vill säga när det är oklart hur eleverna ska angripa uppgiften..

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att göra en jämförelse mellan uppmätt A-temp och framräknad A-temp. A-temp är ett Area begrepp som används när man räknar ut byggnadens energianvändning i kWh per m2 och år, vid upprättande av energideklarationer. För att få fram A-temp kan man mäta upp den men det är också tillåtet att räkna fram den från existerande Area enheter. Vilket är lättare och går snabbare men kan ge något fel Area värde. Det jag fann i undersökningarna var att för de undersöknings objekt jag haft så är det oftast inte så stor skillnad mellan uppmätt och framräknad A-temp. Störst skillnad blev det i de fall där A-temp räknades fram från BOA och LOA, där den i ett par av fallen uppgick till nästan 15%. För att göra undersökningarna har jag själv, mätt upp A-temp på ritningar samtidigt som jag räknat fram A-temp från existerande Area mått som BOA+LOA, BRA eller BTA, därefter har jag jämfört värdena..

The purpose of this essay has been to explore Alexander the Great from two different perspectives in Greece. The village Proti Serron represents the local Area and the national Area named Macedonia represents the second perspective. Oral history has been used as a method in addition to literature and trips to museums and archaeological places.As a guideline for the essay and its contents a stereotyped schedule has been created. This schedule is presented below, and it is also possible to read it backwards.The villagers who identify themselves with Alexander the Great from their local Area Proti Serron which is a part of the national Area named Macedonia.This study proves that the villagers who has been interviewed, identify themselves with the place they live in as well as its history and that they feel that it is their duty to pass this knowledge forward. Alexander the Great is described as intelligent, humble, a man of strength and courage as well as a strategist and sovereign.

This report deals with handling and interim storage of soils which are planned tobe reused in construction works. The types of soils that are dealt with are gravel, topsoil and sand. The thesis work has been carried out in collaboration with Skanska Sverige Väg och Anläggning Sydost. The main goal is to find an Area for using to store soil in between projects.Studies of laws and regulations regarding exploitation and storage of soil has led to a theoretical background upon which the report is based. Background informationhas also been gathered in meetings with the employees at Tekniska Kontoret and Länsstyrelsen in Jönköping.On the basis of literature studies results, a general template has been developed for which desirable properties a possible location should meet.The model was applied to find a number of possible options in the vicinity of Jönköping.

This bachelor essay aims to illuminate different images and ideas about Bellevue industrial Area.The Area is situated in a district in Gothenburg, called Gamlestaden, where Bellevue industrialArea is a former industrial Area, today mostly used by minor occupations. The district is facing amajor transformation, based on a detailed master plan. One aim is to create a district with mixedfunctions; like residences, businesses, offices, services and cultural activities all together. Thisessay is based mainly from a user perspective, but it also has the perspective from the ideas andvisions by the City Planning Office.The material is mainly based on interviews with seven informants, representing different kinds ofoccupations in the Area. One interview is also made with a city planner.

This final project includes an analysis and a programme proposal for the Area Bergsbrunna södra. The Area is situated along the railway between Uppsala ? Stockholm, just south of Uppsala city. A new railway station is planned here, which make the Area attractive as residential Area. There are several values to take into consideration when developing an Area. An extensive analysis and valuation may define and protect different characters and values, and also find the places most suitable to build upon. The Area consists of three separate characters of landscape: the wide open cultivated fields, the hilly wooden ground and the more varying little valley. There are visual, cultural, social and ecological values to preserve. The south part of the Area is woods with high natural values that borders to a national park in the natural forest of Lunsen.

Vallentuna municipality in Stockholm County, is planning to develop a management plan for a forest Area owned by the municipality. The property is an urban forest and the hiking trail Roslagsleden runs through it. Hence the municipality intends to take extra care of the outdoor recreation interests, as well as forest biodiversity, but at the same time use the Area for forestry. This study discusses how these three interests, recreation, biodiversity and forestry, differ in their views of how a forest should be managed, where they disagree and how they can coexist in the management of this Area. In this study, a vegetation mapping of the Area and an assessment of the forest?s conservation values was carried out.

Sewer trenches usually contain material with a higher hydraulic conductivity then the adjacent soil. Thus they can serve as paths of preferential flow in a polluted Area. Wastewater from factories can also leak from wastewater pipes and pollute the soil in the sewer trenches.The purpose of this project was to investigate pollutions in sewer trenches and in sewer pipes in the industrial Area of Köpmanholmen, 20 km south of Örnsköldsvik in the north of Sweden. To make an estimation concerning the potential of transport of pollutions in sewer trenches, hydrological calculations were performed.Leakage to any greater extent did not seem to be a problem in the Area. This is the case both for the concrete and the wooden pipes that have served as factory wastewater pipes.
