This is a qualitative study that explores how bilingual children develop their language through play. The study is based on observations and interviews conducted in a preschool located in a multicultural area of Stockholm.The purpose of using two qualitative methods; observations and interviews, was to get a bigger picture of the study area. The results of the study, illustrated through observations and interviews that I have conducted, shows that the game has great role for bilingual children's language development. Furthermore, the results show that the informants are aware of the importance of play for bilingual children's language development especially when they are talking about investing in the promotion of children's language by using different methods and materials in their pre activity for various games and activities.One of my conclusions is that bilingual children learn the language during both free play and structured play especially when educators are present and aware of the activities that they perform. It is also important to see children as individuals to cover all the needs of children at different activities.

Since several lifestyle diseases are associated with obesity much research is carried out within the area. Researchers have found that oxidation of fatty acids within the body?s cells may give rise to peripheral signals which regulate food intake, but it is still unclear where such a mechanism takes place. Although much evidence suggests that it is the hepatocytes in the liver that send signals regulating food intake, some researchers have begun to question this theory. Instead they argue that the mechanism takes place within the enterocytes since they are well localised in the gut for such assignment.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur kvinnor och män upplevde naturlig familjeplanering (NFP) samt vilken kunskap sjuksköterskan hade om NFP och när hon kunde använda sig av den i sin profession. Artiklar valdes ut från databaserna Elin, Pub Med och Blackwell synergy. De sökord som användes var NFP, Catholic, Satisfaction, Awareness, Odeblad, Billing, Billings, Nurse, Pregnancy, Birthcontrol, Family, Mucus, Family planning, Natural family planning och Ovulation. Sammanlagt valdes 18 artiklar ut varav 14 användes i resultatet. Två artiklar till resultatet söktes manuellt och beställdes.

Arkitektkontoret Sweco Architects i Göteborg har tagit fram ett förslag för ett bostadsområde i Varberg, där Varbergs kommun var beställare. De föreslog att ett eget områdesförslag skulle tas fram i Revit Architecture utifrån de planbestämmelser som gäller i området. Som en fördjupning i detta arbete valdes att även studera arbetsprocessen i programmet samt hur denna process kan tidsoptimeras. Ett problem idag är att en sådan process kan vara tidskrävande och ineffektiv. Syftet med detta arbete var att finna idéer på hur processen kan effektiviseras och att utveckla kunskaperna om Revit.Som en inledning modellerades hur området ser ut idag i Revit utifrån en ritning skapad i AutoCAD.

SAMMANFATTNINGOtillräcklig fysisk aktivitet är en riskfaktor för en mängd olika sjukdomar och ohälsotillstånd. Att öka den fysiska aktivitetsnivån i en befolkning har visat sig vara en av de mest effektiva åtgärderna för att förbättra folkhälsan. Primärvården och speciellt distriktssköterskan har en central roll i arbetet med att förändra patienters ohälsosamma livsstilar. Många sjuksköterskor inom primärvården brottas med att kunna ge bra och effektiv rådgivning på en mycket begränsad tid. MI är en evidensbaserad tillämpning av livsstilsrådgivning som används allt mer för att uppnå positiva livsstilsförändringar.Syftet med studien är att beskriva hur sjuksköterskan med hjälp av MI på bästa sätt kan hjälpa patienten till en ökad fysisk aktivitetsnivå.

Vårt syfte med examensarbetet var att ta reda på om elever i en sjätteklass i dagens skola får en positiv uppfattning kring metoden Storyline, och därmed ett engagemang och motivation i skolarbetet. För att få svar på vår fråga planerade och genomförde vi ett storylinetema i en klass på mellanstadiet. Under arbetet förde vi egna observations- och dagboksanteckningar samt lät alla deltagande elever svara på en enkel enkät efter varje undervisningstillfälle. I våra dagliga observationer använde vi oss av ett bedömningsunderlag med av oss utvalda indikatorer som tillsammans gav oss information om elevernas positiva eller negativa uppfattning av lärandesituationen. Efter arbetets slutförande intervjuade vi de lärare som berörts av arbetet.

Sub Saharan Africa has during the last decade become the world?s fastest urbanizing region. This change is concentrated to a few metropolitan areas one of them being Dar es Salaam, the largest city of Tanzania. Since the 1960s Dar es Salaam has grown from being a relatively small coastal city of approximately 300 000 people to become a bustling urban centre of four million inhabitants. This development has had a major impact on the city structure, which in turn has affected people?s welfare and the surrounding environment. One such consequence is the detrimental loss of urban vegetation and open areas in the city.

Detta examensarbete är en beskrivning av hur man inom skolan kan använda sig av Funktionsinriktad musikterapi (FMT), både i elevhälsosyfte och personalvård. Jag berättar om arbetet med en elev med diagnosen språkstörning/dyslexi och en lärare med diagnosen utmattningsdepression. Mitt arbete visar att FMT med sin tydliga struktur kan hjälpa både elever och lärare att få tillgång till de egna förmågorna. Genom en balans mellan trygghet och utmaningar stimulerar FMT-metoden till utveckling hos personen, oavsett ålder. .

During the summer while thelargest amount of solar heat can be generated, the activity hence the domestic wateruse in the schools are heavily reduced. Both schools are connected to the local districtheating system which makes it possible to use the solar collectors to deliver heat tothe district heating.The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the two systems mentioned above and todetermine which system is more suitable to apply on a school. The building whichconditions were used for this evaluation is Röselidsskolan.A solar heating plant of each system type was dimensioned from the expected andknown conditions of the building. The purpose with the dimensioning was to makethe solar plants replace the ordinary energy source as much as possible.

Cambodia is located in Southeast Asia with a tropical monsoon climate and distinctive wet and dry seasons. Poverty is a widespread problem in Cambodia and 30 percent of the population were classified as poor in 2009. About 80 percent of the populations live in rural areas where poverty is an even greater problem. In agriculture, rice cultivation is dominating and the crop is cultivated on 85 percent of the arable land. Livestock keeping is also a traditional part of Cambodian agriculture.

Arbetet handlar om huruvida man kan få till ett meningsfullt lärande genom att använda sig av metoden PBL, problembaserat lärande, i grundskolan. Jag gör en kort presentation av lärande under 1900-talet för att därefter koncentrera mig på tre pedagoger, Marton, Säljö och Dewey. Utifrån dessa tre pedagogers syn på lärande undersöker jag PBL. Jag beskriver hur metoden PBL fungerar och hur den är uppbyggd. Mycket i PBL överensstämmer med vad Marton, Säljö och Dewey anser vara ett lärande som ger bra resultat.

Arbetet handlar om hur elever uppfattar och påverkas av rollspel som undervisningsmetod för främst samhällskunskap. Syftet var att undersöka ifall att elevers syn på metoden överensstämde med litteratur på området samt vlka faktorer som kunde tänkas ha påverkan på hur elever uppfattade metoden. Studien genomfördes på två gymnasieskolor i en kommun i Västerbotten. Undersökningen skedde med hjälp av två undersökningsmetoder, observation och enkäter. Utöver dessa undersökningsmetoder användes litteratur för att bygga bakgrund till studien.

The aim of this study is to examine how one can understand the experiences that social workers within the social service's have of children who have committed sexual assault against other children, and the social workers? thoughts about the choice of actions and the family involvement in those actions. The study has a qualitative character. Information was obtained through interviews with social workers within two Swedish counties, and the analysis of the results was based on earlier research findings as well as theoretical aspects, such as systemic theory and salutogenesis.Regarding the actions taken for the target group, the social workers have, in many ways, a systemic perspective as they emphasize elements within the child as well as within the family. It is also shown that the collaboration with other authorities affects the choice of actions, and that it is important to involve the entire family in any interventions, so that the effect of those interventions may last over time.
