Throughout the years more and more charitable organisations have appeared and the competition between them has increased. This has forced the charities to use more marketing strategies in their work in order to strengthen their competitiveness. Research in philanthropy in terms of economy and marketing has been neglected in Sweden and the research that is done today is mainly focused on why individuals donate to charity. A donation, according to the writers of this thesis, has been seen as an economical activity and can therefore be explained and understood through economical models and theories. This thesis aims to see how a contributor to charity makes the decision to donate money, consequently see how the donation decision process actually works from a theoretical model of a buying decision process from marketing literature. The purpose of this thesis is therefore to from a buying decision process concerning products describe the donation decision process for contributors to charity. By achieving this purpose the writers aim to compare if a donation decision process go through certain steps similar to a buying decision process.

Threat towards politicians is not only dangerous to the individuals involved but also to the democratic system as a whole.Political scientists the world over have done a lot of research on democracy, but I have been unable to find a single method or theory that examines how violence, threat and harassment affect political leaders and democratic systems.The aim of this study is to expand the existing model made by Tommy Möller, professor in political science. In his model he presents 11 factors that affect political leaders ability to act. My aim is to develop his model by adding a 12 th factor ?violence, threat and harassment?.

This paper aims to describe the geographical changes of Swedish international aid politics since 2007, which was the year the new aid reform of decreasing collaborating countries, came up. To decrease the number of aid receiving countries due to efficiency is not a new idea within Swedish aid politics, but Sweden received criticism from the (DAC) Development Assistance Committee, saying Sweden was active in too many countries, and the government established a policy to decrease the amount of countries given aid. Despite the government?s recent work, science has shown on a failed country focusing. This is followed up in the paper trough examination of statistics to measure the extent of the reduction.

Nano materials can today be found in a wide range of consumer products and the number of new products on the market is expected to inrease. In the shadow of hope for nano materilas potential in various applications, low awareness of its health and environmental risks is hiding. Furthermore, the knowledge about people´s risk perception of nano materials is limited. Parallel to the situation described above, the scholls meet the challenge of incrasing the scientific literacy. To achieve this goal, skills in argumentation in science studies has been emphasized and the concept of socio-scientific issues has been emerged.

General principles of law can be defined as a legal foundation with the function of codifying basic values. They can also be of a character, which makes them useful as supplement and interpretation of law. EU has developed principles of law that can be divided into general and special. Within the Union there are existences of around twenty general ones. A further separation can be made in terms of institutional and individual.

During the changes of time, the stipulations for the existence of books and libraries also change. With technical advances come new possibilities, and the option to publish literature electronically is one of them. The purpose of this Master's thesis is to answer the question how the advantages and disadvantages of electronically published literature is described and constructed. To further deepen the analysis these questions were asked: What aims are the electronically published literature said to achieve? Why are the electronically published literature said to achieve these aims? And who are favoured/disfavoured by electronically published literature? The analyzed publications are four Swedish library related publications: Biblioteksbladet, Dik-forum, Ikoner and Nya Ciceron.

This examination paper is an account for the author?s work to arrange and registrate the business archive and business records of court jeweller W. A. Bolin AB from 1916 until present day, and a part of the one-year Masters Programme in Archival Science at the University of Uppsala. I svensk nationell lagstiftning och på EG-rättslig nivå är kravet på särskiljningsförmåga juridiskt grundläggande för varumärkesrättens uppbyggnad. Det finns skyddsmöjligheter antingen genom inarbetning eller registrering av varumärken både i Sverige och inom EG-samarbetet. Namnvalets prägel på särskiljningsförmågan varierar beroende på vilken kategori då det kan finnas deskriptiva, suggestiva, slumpmässiga och fantasinamn som kategorier på varumärkesnamn. Abstract"The war on terror" has resulted in numerous exceptions from the constitutional order. This thesis is an attempt to give empirical support to Georgio Agambens theory that these exceptions should be regarded as a constant element in modern societies based on a constitutional order. The results of the case study of the empirical exceptions in the American context give Agambens theory validity. The exception is a reappearing phenomenon, which implies that the constitutional order is fragile. What then is it that makes the legal norms fragile? In this thesis I will discuss the causality of moral panic.

Dagen samhälle är sårbarare än man ibland kan ana. Överbelastningsattacker är attacker mot ett specifikt nätverk, och syftet är att göra dess tjänster otillgängliga för legitima användare. Detta är något som sker varje dag mot företag runtom i världen, och inte minst i Sverige. Media har på senare tid uppmärksammat problemet sedan det blivit allt vanligare och vanligare bland företagen. Syftet med detta arbete är dels att få bättre förståelse om överbelastningsattacker är något som prioriteras eller inte, men även att få företagen uppmärksammade på vilka olika skydd som finns att tillgå mot överbelastningsattacker, samt att vi vill få företagen att verkligen tänka på vilka hot som finns där ute. Vårt mål med denna uppsats är att ta reda på vilka befintliga skydd företag i Sverige använder sig utav för tillfället samt vilka skydd de kan och bör använda sig utav. För att nå detta mål har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med företag som bedriver en stor del av sin försäljning, eller tillhandahållande av tjänster, över Internet. Detta har gjort att vi kommit fram till att företagen visserligen visst har skydd mot överbelastningsattacker och använder sig utav dem, men bör också se till vilka andra skydd som finns tillgängliga för dem och kan fungera bättre för just dem. Det finns som sagt bra skydd mot överbelastningsattacker, men det gäller att veta hur de fungerar och att använda dem på rätt sätt för att kunna utnyttja dem ordentligt. Vi tror, och hoppas, att detta arbete kommer att kunna hjälpa företagen i framtiden att lättare kunna stå emot överbelastningsattacker, och det är våran förhoppning att denna uppsats kommer att komma till nytta och tjäna sitt syfte..

Sammanfattning Fel i programvara (buggar) kostar ofantliga summor varje år. I detta arbete presenteras en metod där programexekveringsmiljön utan vare sig programmerarens eller användarens inblandning utförligt kan rapportera och dölja effekterna av en avsevärd andel buggar. Genom att kompilatorn eller tolken tillåter att en och samma procedur implementeras hur många gånger som helst införs ett helt automatiskt stöd för N-Version Programming (NVP) omedelbart i programspråket. Tekniken gör programvaran feltolerant och blir ett komplement till kostsam och ofta bristfällig testning. En tolk utvecklades för ett programspråk som tillåter multipla definitioner av procedurer. Därmed har det inbyggt stöd för feltolerans genom redundans på procedurnivå. Ett experiment genomfördes där nio programmerare oberoende av varandra implementerade 12 utförligt specificerade procedurer.

SUMMARY Establish a pasture There is many valuable nature and culture landscapes in Sweden that has developed during a long period of time, throw natural processes or human use. Unfortunately lot of these are disappearing. My thought with this work is to explore the possibility to establish new areas with similar qualities. The motive for this is that attractive countryside biotopes are well worth to use as model to enrich the urban landscape. Another thought has concerned the people that establish, build and manage landscapes and parks. They often have varied views, both coming from a difference in background and previous experiences.
