Solceller för flerbostadshus : En teknisk rapport för HFAB
This examination paper is about the potential for Solar cells on Apartment blocks. The technology with using solar cells for manufacturing electricity, has been on the market for a while, but recently the new installations of solar cells has increased. Solar cells are suited for placements on buildings but are expensive to obtain. The municipal real-estate company is interested in solar cells but wants to know more before they invest in the technology. This report contains an account of the solar cell and a guide to how a connection to the grid is accomplished.

The purpose of this paper is to present and analyze the yearly expenses for Swedish rental apartments during the period 1999 to 2007. At the end, it will give the reader a general picture of how the cost-level has fluctuated depending on the production year when the apartment building was finished, and where the same building is located. This paper has the following questions as a starting point:- Can there be an identification of regions depending on where people tend to favor renting an apartment?- How are those regions distributed? That is, where are the cost-levels of the yearly rental expenses highest and where are the levels lowest?Nine statistical surveys from the Swedish government agency Statistics Sweden (Statistiska Centralbyrån) have been used as primary sources for this paper. These surveys deal with price pictures of housing in general, but for this paper the only information that has been used is the one about rental apartments.
Fältskiktsvegetationen 30 år efter beståndsanläggning : effekter av olika nivå på skogsskötselintensitet
En landsomfattande försökserie anlades mellan 1984 - 1988 med 15 försöksblock i Sverige. Syftet var att studera den totala effekten på virkesproduktionen av tre olika intensiva skogsskötselalternativ. Inom varje block upprättades en extensiv behandling som innebar att ingen åtgärd efter avverkning vidtogs, en normal behandling som motsvarade markägarens normala skötselintensitet vid tiden när försöken anlades. Slutligen fanns en intensiv behandling där ambitionsnivån skulle vara högre än vad som kunde anses vara normalt.
Mitt syfte var att studera hur fältskiktets täckningsgrad och artantal påverkats av de tre olika skogsskötselintensiteterna på de tre försöksblocken Bjurholm, Edefors och Harads i Norra Sverige. På dessa block inventerade jag markvegetationen med fokus på fältskiktet i månadsskiftet mellan Juni och Juli 2013.

This essay puts its focus on examining vendors? underlying decision criterias when choosing an estate agent at the purpose of selling an apartment. The purpose is on one hand to expound the knowledge of the vendor?s decision process and on the other hand to evaluate how the choice of an estate agent is perceived to the vendor. By nine interviews we explored what reasons made vendors choose their agents and whether they were contented with their choice.
Blockpolitik i riksdagen : Har riksdagsledamöterna förvandlats till röstboskap?
This thesis aims at studying the development of the party cohesion and oligarchichaltendencies in the party groups of the Swedish national parliament, riksdagen, after theintroduction of two clear block coalitions during the years 2006-2010.The result of the cohesion during these years has been compared towards the years 1998-2006.The research method being used has been 18 semi structured interviews with member of the parliament during the examined years. The main findings show an increment of both the cohesion and the oligarchical tendencies after the block coalitions during the years 2006-2010. The result verified therefore also the two originally stated hypothesis..
Development of Liquid Cooling for PCs
In recent years, existing solutions for cooling personal computer CPUs have been supplemented by a new product category, factory sealed water cooling loops. These systems, consisting of a water block with an integrated pump, a fan and a radiator, perform well compared to the air cooling solutions but are less effective than larger, custom-built water cooling systems.This project aims to explore the most important aspects of a factory sealed system and to identify possible cost-effective enhancements of the performance.The most significant differences between the different groups of water cooling loops are the block design and the pumping power. The performance of both categories is also largely dependent on the fan power, but increasing fan power has a large negative impact on the noise level.Both radiator size and fan model choice appear, in tests, to be relatively unimportant, presuming that the noise level is kept constant. The position and direction of the fan, however, has significant impact on both the temperature and the sound level.Water blocks can be designed in several different ways, both regarding the heatsink design and the flow direction. In simulation, flow with the inlet centered above the heatsink result in considerably lower pressure drop and slightly higher temperatures than flow through the block, for heatsinks with fin arrays.Creating a competitive product in this product segment certainly seems possible, as there are performance-increasing changes to be made that seemingly has little impact on the production cost.

In Sweden, a big part of the energy use is used in the housing sector. Political goals and targets are set up which the housing sector needs to work towards. Apartment buildings are a major part of the housing sector in Sweden and therefore reduction of energy use in these kinds of buildings are key to lower the energy use in Sweden. But there are not only political incentives to reduce the energy use. Some energy?saving measures are directly profitable and should thus be performed.
Erfarenheter från flerbostadshus som passivhus : En handflata och sex värmeljus
All new households were to be constructed with "near zero energy house standards" (NZE-house) by the year of 2020. The ambition to construct energy-efficient buildings had to increase rapidly in the spring of 2013.The purpose of this report was to increase the interest for building contractors to construct apartment buildings with passive house standards. By locating and evaluating experiences from an existing passive house a case study including interviews, field visits and document analysis was made. Research of literature regarding other passive houses in Sweden also helped to answer the following questions:- What positive and negative experiences have the study of the passive house meant to the involved stakeholders and residents?- What improvements can be made based on identified experiences?- How can an apartment building be designed as a passive house based on possible improvements?By collecting good and bad experiences, as well as improvements and potential design proposals, a diagram was created designed as a tool for developers when constructing apartment buildings with passive house standards.

To reach objectives within EU?s Habitatdirective and the national environmental objectives, more information about semi-natural pastures is required. The expression semi-natural pasture is used for pastures that during the latest time are uncultivated and unfertilized. Semi-natural pastures are important in many respects for example to conserve the biodiversity and for our cultural history. The aim of my study was to compile and calculate the area of semi-natural pastures by use existing sources of information.
Hur kan Svenska kyrkan uppfylla barnens behov?
Jag har skrivit om barnen och deras situation i samhället. Min tanke är att barnen överöses av krav under hela sin uppväxt och att de sällan finner tid för att finna sig själv. Min tanke är att kyrkan skulle kunna hjälpa barnen att finna denna tid, men frågan kvarstår om ens de hinner med detta. I mitt första block tar jag upp dessa frågor i min inledning och har även en metoddel för att visa vilken litteratur jag tagit del av för att genomföra arbetet. Mitt andra block tar upp barnens situation idag, både inom den egna familjen och inom skolan samt det övriga samhället.
Demonstrator av vinkelgivare
Eskilstuna Elektronikpartner (EEPAB) är ett elektronikföretag som tillverkar vinkelgivare till bland annat kranar som är monterade på lastbilsflak.För att EEPAB på ett intressant sätt ska kunna demonstrera sin produkt på mässor har en demonstrator tagits fram. Denna demonstrator består av en fjärrstyrd grävmaskin och en elektronikenhet, som hanterar den analoga signalen från vinkelgivaren. Resultatet, som är vinkelgivarens lutning i grader, presenteras på två sjusegmentdisplayer som är placerade på grävmaskinens bägge sidor. Vinkeln skickas även trådlöst från elektronikenheten, via Bluetooth, till en PC. Grävmaskinens batteri (7,2V) strömförsörjer all hårdvara, vilket gör att demonstratorn är helt portabel.Denna rapport beskriver block för block de olika programfunktioner samt hårdvara, som behövs till en färdig och fungerande demonstrator..

Sweden is on the turn of a dramatic demographic change. The number of elderly will in the coming decade increase considerably. This also means that the need of dwellings adapted for accessibility increases. By adapting dwellings and housing areas to an increased level of accessibility, more people are given the opportunity to stay for a longer time in their habitual surroundings and the housing becomes secure for the user both in a physical and mental point of view. One of the least accessible housing areas in Halmstad is Klackerup.

The power system modelled in this thesis work has been developed for simulationwhen e.g. the production in some part of the power system is changed. The powersystem has been modelled according to the swing mass of the system, the frequencydependency of the load and the turbine governor. The model determines the systemfrequency, the period of regulation and the power exchange between the differentsubsystems in the Nordic synchronized system.In this model the system frequency is assumed to be the same in all different parts ofthe power system and the voltage conditions in the power system are neglected. Forthat reason power swings does not occur between different subsystems in the powersystem, which usually occur as a result of the swinging connection between thetransmissions line.

This report is the result of a thesis conducted at the consulting firm Bjerking AB andis the final part of the Bachelor Programme in Construction Engineering at Universityof Uppsala. The work aims to investigate the costs and how the choice of ventilationsystem affects building projects during a long-term period. This report covers costssuch as investment, maintenance and energy but also how they affect residents andbuilders. Building regulations for energy consumption are expected to be tougher;therefore a comparison of two different heat recovery ventilation systems(HRV-system) was made. One system is based on a centrally placed unit that coversthe whole buildings ventilation through vertical shafts.
