Proliferative enteropathy is a group of disease conditions in pigs where the disease may vary from subclinical to critical with bloody loose feces. The etiological agent is the obligate intracellular bacteria Lawsonia intracellularis. L. intracellularis infects enterocytes from jejunum to colon. The bacteria is taken into cells and start to replicate and cause a massive proliferation of immature enterocytes.

The aim is to describe and analyze how the branch of real estate works with confidence and codes of conduct.Method:I have an qualitative approach in which interviews have been used to collect data and literature studies to collect theoretical information. The collected material have been analyzed from a hermeneutical perspective.Result & Conclusions:To some extent the real estate branch works with the establishment of Codes of Conduct to strengthen the confidence. This is shown by increased transparency to increase customers commitment in the bidding. Agency theory describes the conflict of interest between the principal (stockholders) and the agent (CEO). Aligning the incentives of executives with those of the owners is the most direct way to mitigate the agency problem. If there is no meaningful link between CEO compensation and company performance, it is doubtful that the large sums of assets in public corporations are being managed efficiently. In theory the solution is simple reward the CEO when shareholders wealth increases. The purpose of this paper is to investigate if there is a relationship between company performance and CEO compensation among Swedish companies, in materials and information technology industry.

This thesis has a deductive approach, where existing theories dealing empowerment formed the basis for the design of interview substrate, which is then paired with the empirical evidence, based on this the conclusions was drawn.Result & Conclusion:What separates the different kinds of empowerment and how it affect the staff depends most of all on how the management chooses to communicate and share information with their staff.Suggestions for future research:A study regarding managers that works with different kinds of empowerment, and how that affects them, could be regarded as an interesting future research.Contribution of thesis:It shows that different kinds of empowerment affect the staff in different ways, which I made clear to the readers.Keywords:empowerment, thinking skills, relations and organizational - structure and theory.

This pilot study describes a therapy method for persons withBroca´s aphasia. This method is based on the mapping hypothesis (Schwartz,Saffran & Marin 1980). The mapping hypothesis is based on the assumptionthat agrammatism is caused by an inability to combine syntactic structurewith thematic roles. This study describes a combination of the therapymethod mentioned above and the Everyday life activities photo series (ELA,Stark 1992). The aim of the study was to investigate if therapy based on awritten sentence/picture format is a viable starting-point for future research.The therapy presented combined written sentences with pictures describingeveryday life activities.

Problemformulering: Organisatoriska gränser orsakar i viss mån ett hinder för företags målfokusering; i ett franchiseföretag blir detta problem ännu mer komplext då gränserna tydliggörs i form av skilda ägarförhållanden. Vi vill i denna uppsats undersöka hur franchiseföretag hanterar de problem som uppstår på grund av dessa gränser. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att öka kunskapen om svårigheter och möjligheter med gränsöverskridande samverkan i ett franchiseföretag. Forskningsfråga: Vilka problem kan organisatoriska gränser ge upphov till och vilka möjligheter finns det att överskrida dessa? Teori: Vi använder oss av teorier kring bland annat agent-principal-problematiken, gränsöverskridande samverkan, informella och formella styrsystem samt belöningssystem.

Syfte:Att sammanställa och använda en teoretisk referensram för att beskriva och analysera ägarstyrningen av statliga bolag med särskilda samhällsintressen Metod:Teorianvändande kvalitativ fallstudie Teoretiska perspektiv:Grundläggande ägarstyrningsteori med särskilt foku's på agent- och intressentteori samt teorier som behandlar socialt ansvarstagande Empiri:Forskning's- och myndighetsrapporter, tidningsartiklar samt intervjuer med bolagsinterna och bolagsexterna källor i ledande positioner Slutsatser:Det är komplicerat att enkelt beskriva och förklara hur ledningarna för de statliga bolagen ägarstyr's. Orsakerna till detta är bland annat begränsade insynsmöjligheter, närvaron av formlö's styrning och ägarförvaltningen's inkonsekventa hantering av de statliga bolagen. Ägarstyrningen verkställ's genom flera parallella mekanismer. Flera aspekter kan förbättra's gällande ägarstyrningen's transparen's, speciellt gäller detta beskrivningar och dokumentation kring ägarförvaltningen's beslutsgång samt informationen som ge's från bolagen. Det sakna's formella riktlinjer för hur de statliga bolagen's styrelser skall sammansätta's.

AbstraktDen har undersökningen handlar om förändringsagentens roll och funktion i förskolan och skolan. Förändringsagentens funktion kan på ett övergripande sätt beskrivas som att verka som pedagogiska ledare med uppgift att stimulera och driva på förskolor och skolors förbättringsarbete. I min studie intresserar jag mig för hur pedagoger upplever och erfar deras arbete och jag vänder mig till pedagoger som i någon form interagerar med en agent i sitt yrkesliv.Forskning har visat att det varit svårt för en ensam rektor att få till ett pedagogiskt ledarskap som leder till högre måluppfyllelse och en högre kvalitet på elevens lärande. Vissa kommuner satsat extra resurser och inrättat särskilda tjänster för att stärka det pedagogiska ledarskapet. Målsättning med de nya tjänsterna är således att förstärka upp verksamheternas utvecklingsorganisation.2009 påbörjades ett treårigt aktionsforskningsprojekt mellan Karlstads universitet och tre svenska kommuner; Hagfors, Järfälla och Årjäng.  Min studie ingår som en del av denna mer omfattande undersökning.

Background: The consumers of today have the possibility to choose from a wide range of products and services. Consequently, the ability to differentiate the products is essential for the brand owners. If a brand owner does not manage to differentiate its product, it can be difficult to make the consumers realise the benefits of the product and convince them to buy it. One way to differentiate the product is to create a distinguished brand identity. However, it is not enough to create a strong brand identity, the brand owner must also be capable of communicating the brand identity successfully.

Ett undantag från revisionsplikten infördes för mindre aktiebolag den 1 november 2010, som berör ungefär 70 % av de svenska aktiebolagen eller 250 000 bolag. Vid kreditgivningen behöver bankerna information för att minska risken och vikten vid att informationen stämmer är stor. Revisorn är ett sätt för att bekräfta informationen och öka trovärdigheten för räkenskaperna. Detta ledde till vår problemformulering: Förändras trovärdigheten i ett bolags finansiella rapporter om aktiebolaget väljer bort revisionen? Vilka konsekvenser får det för bolagen i relation till bankerna?Syftet är att få en bild av om trovärdigheten hos ett bolag förändras då de väljer bort revisionen och vilka konsekvenser det kan få.Studien har en deduktiv ansats, vilket innebär att vi började med datainsamling och teorier.

På senare tid har styrelsearbetet blivit mer komplext och tidskrävande. Detta till trots förekommer det att styrelseledamöter innehar flera parallella styrelseuppdrag. Enligt vissa kan parallella uppdrag medföra fördelar för bolaget i form av erfarenhets- och kunskapsutbyte. Samtidigt menar andra att det istället leder till att ledamöterna tar på sig för många uppdrag för att kunna fullgöra sina åtaganden. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om det finns något samband mellan antalet parallella styrelseuppdrag i en bolagsstyrelse och bolagets värde för bolag noterade på Stockholmsbörsen.

Syftet är att med hjälp av fallet Stockholms stads hemtjänst analysera hur ledningen på utförarnivå implementerar ett påtvingat arbetssystem.Studien är kvalitativ där avsikten med studien är att beskriva och analysera respondenternas tankar och upplevelser kring implementeringen av arbetssystemet. Som forskningsstrategi har en fallstudiemetod använts. Den huvudsakliga datakällan är åtta intervjuer med chefer på olika utförarenheter i Stockholms stad.Uppsatsens teoretiska ansats utgörs av Principal-agent teorin, teorier om förändringsmotstånd och förändringsledning samt teorier om implementering av ny teknologi.Studien tar sin grund i att Stockholms stad infört ett nytt rapporteringssystem i hemtjänsten år 2014, något som har mött mycket motstånd av vårdbiträden. Detta har lagt press på ledningen på utförarnivå som lett implementeringsarbetet i utförarenheterna. Genom åtta stycken intervjuer med chefer från olika utförarenheter har ledningens roll och ansvar av implementeringsarbetet uppskattats samt ledningens hantering av motstånd diskuterats.Studien har resulterat i en utvärdering av ledningsarbetet som till största delen påverkat utfallet av införandet av ParaGå i hemtjänsten.

The muscle relaxants may be used either in combination wih or following an anaesthetic dose of barbiturate, their use use as a sole agent is totally inhumane.

Background: When companies decentralize their operations into profit centers, transfer pricing often becomes an integral part in intracompany trade. A profit center may affect both revenues and costs and seek to maximize profit. Transfer Pricing is a complex subject because it is affected by a large number of factors including the profit centers will to generate profits. This leads us to the subject of decision-making in a transfer pricing-systems. On what grounds are decisions made? Are transfer pricing purposes, factors and interests taken into consideration? What type of information is used in such decisions, how is the transfer price issue perceived and how is it used?Aim: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze which type of information that is makes up transfer prices, how the transfer price is perceived by different parties and how it is used for decision-making.Completion: A qualitative study has been performed with current theory as a starting point.
