Package design constitutes an important marketing and differentiation tool in an increasingly competitive food market, particularly in the category of daily consumer goods where the turnover rate is high and the purchases are based on self-service (Hine, 1997; Spethmann, 1994; Underwood, 1999). Media fragmentation undermines the traditional marketing tools and the demands for packaging are bigger than ever. A package must not only sell a product, but also tell, through design, how the product is used and express the values that the trademark owner wishes to convey to the end customer (Underwood, 1998). The understanding of the role of packaging as a marketing tool has increased, but the initiators inside the packaging industry in Sweden still think that the Swedish packaging industry is developing slowly. They often describe Swedish packages as homogeneous and unimaginative.

A resource based view of productivity, firm growth and technical management tools : a case study of Swedish large-scale farms

The past and ongoing structural change in Swedish agriculture has led to an increasing number of large-scale farms. The biological factors associated with large-scale farming operations may cause increasing variability, risk and reduced yields due to sub-optimal timing and management of field operations. The theory of economies of scale suggests that largescale production may benefit from lower costs due to scale efficiencies. Thus, large-scale farms may face cost reductions in terms of long term inputs factors, e.g. agricultural machinery.

Det föränderliga samhället : En intervjustudie om ett föränderligt samhälles betydelse för undervisning i samhällskunskap på gymnasiet

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vilken betydelse samhällsklimatet har för några utvaldalärare i deras arbete med planering och genomförande av undervisning i samhällskunskap.Samhällskunskapsämnet syftar till att fostra demokratiska medborgare och på så sätt främjademokratiska värden. Detta har vi velat undersöka där skolans fostransuppdrag har varit i fokus.Vi har också velat undersöka hur samhällskunskapslärare uppfattar skolans kunskap- ochfostransuppdrag samt vilken betydelse samhällsföreteelser har på deras arbete med att planeraoch genomföra lektioner.Främlingsfientliga strömningar och människors ökade oro för andra anti-demokratiska företeelsersåsom terrorattacker kan spegla sig i skolans värld, då skolan är en del av samhället. För attundersöka detta intervjuar vi sju gymnasielärare, verksamma på olika skolor och olika program.Metoden är med anledning av detta semistrukturerade intervjuer, där vi har utgått från entematiserad intervjuguide med ett antal olika frågor. Dessa har vi ställt till våra respondenter ochutifrån deras svar har vi således frågat uppföljningsfrågor. Intervjuguiden konstruerades efter vårtsyfte och forskningsfrågor och kategoriserades efter olika teman.

Rovdjurens påverkan på den svenska älgstammen och konsekvenser för dess förvaltning

Den svenska älgstammen har i stort sett levt i frånvaro av björn och varg under större delen av 1900-talet. Istället har stammen reglerats genom en intensiv älgjakt. Nu har både björn och varg återetablerats i våra skogar och expanderar i antal och utbredning. Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur återkomsten av dessa stora rovdjur påverkar älgstammens antal, köns- och åldersstruktur och beteende, samt hur älgförvaltningen påverkas av närvaro av björn och varg. Rovdjursstammarna är ojämnt fördelade över landet och även älgtätheten varierar. Därför kommer en del områden att påverkas mycket och andra väldigt lite.

VSEM project and the need for a more efficient way of handling requirements andinformation are highly apparent.The overall objective of this thesis is divided into two parts:1. To identify criteria/factors leading to a successful introduction of an informationmanagement system.2. To develop an implementation process for a requirement management system ?the first step towards a PLM system in EE development at VCC.This will be done through interviews with employees, a literature review and an analysisof studies of three earlier projects within VCC.The conclusion of this study shows the great need for change in work methods fordesigners handling information and requirements. An implementation process has beenidentified with guidelines on how to handle different phases of the process.

Thesis completed by Johan Arvidsson, Alex Rasooli and Pontus Winroth, students at master program Product development and Design at the School of Engineering in Jönköping Sweden. The project comprises 30 ECTS credits and was carried out during the semester in the autumn of 2007.It was carried out in cooperation with Eksjöverken AB, subcontractor within the truck industry with special knowledge within the area of complicated machinery construction work. Job initiators at Eksjöverken were Mats Svanberg and Kjell Nygard. Dag Holmgren was acting as a tutor from the university. The task was to develop tools for trucks, primary toolboxes but in case of time also under run protection.

Public service för oss, vi eller dem? : En intervjustudie om mångfaldscoachers uppfattningar om mångfald och strävan mot detsamma inom public service-bolagen.

The purpose of this study is to dig deeper into the perceptions regarding diversity - and the ambition to achieve increased such - among those who have participated in the Swedish Public Service diversity coach education. Furthermore, the aim is also to problematize, and increase the awareness of, different outlooks on diversity and its practical usage. All in all, ten so called ?Zebra coaches? have been interviewed for this study. The empirical material has been analysed through a theoretical framework that problematizes the constructs of inequality, based on gender, ethnicity, race, class, etc., on different levels.
