Menstruationscykelns inverkan på kvinnors preferenser för mäns AnsiktenSammanfattningDetta är en systematisk replikation av Penton-Voaks och Perrets studie (1999) då en preferens hos kvinnor för maskuliniserade ansiktsdrag under hög befruktningsrisk i menstruationscykeln hittades. Dessa drag tros vara en ärlig signal för goda gener och immunokompetens hos män. Oklarhet råder huruvida detta gäller för olika populationer. 36 svenska universitetsstuderande kvinnor fick därför välja ut de mest fysiskt attraktiva Ansiktena, utifrån maskuliniserade och feminiserade bildserier, vid hög respektive låg befruktningsrisk. Ingen signifikant skillnad hittades mellan de olika faserna.

AbstractThis essay is based on a qualitative and quantitative study. We have compared history textbooks on an upper secondary level and how the books handle the Soviet Union. This study is done in Växjö as a region. Furthermore we also made interviews with upper secondary teachers and forms with upper secondary students. Our study of the textbooks has been ranges within the period from 1917 until 2009: we choose the year 1917 because the Soviet revolution started at the former date.

Mellan 1935 och 1975 tvångssteriliserades cirka 63 000 svenskar av den svenska staten enligt gällande lagstiftning. Denna period i svensk historia kom åter att uppmärksammas både i Sverige och internationellt i augusti 1997 efter att Maciej Zaremba, kulturjournalist på Dagens Nyheter, publicerat flera artiklar om tvångssteriliseringarna. Detta resulterade i att staten också tillsatte en utredning i frågan vilket även gav steriliseringsoffren rätt till ekonomisk ersättning. Flertalet skrifter har publicerats i detta ämne, de flesta utgivna på 1990-talet. Men hur har dessa skrifter framställts? Tar författaren ställning i steriliseringsfrågan? I denna uppsats analyseras tre författares framställningar av tvångssteriliseringarna, vilka alla är utgivna under debatten som startade 1997.

Ansiktstolkning är en viktig del av den ickeverbala kommunikationen mellan människor. Resultat från tidigare studier har visat att förmågan till korrekt ansiktstolkning påverkas av det psykiska välmåendet samt av tidigare livserfarenheter. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det fanns något samband mellan tidigare erfarenheter av mobbning och förmågan till korrekt ansiktstolkning. Ett explorativt syfte var även att undersöka eventuella samband mellan mobbning och nedsatt psykiskt välmående. Studien var kvantitativ, genomfördes på gymnasieelever, och innefattade en mobbningsenkät, ett ansiktstolkningstest, SSP och BDI-II.

Background: To lose a child describes as the most painful loss that a human being can experience. The grief can be experienced individual depending on several factors such as culture and life experience. Being a man or woman is another factor that may influence the experience of grief. The nurse´s role is to support both parents in their role as mother and father. Aim: The aim was to describe men?s and women?s experiences of the loss of a child.

This is a qualitative study which purpose is to examine the experiences of the recovery process after a treatment for eating disorders.                                                         The questions we have decided to examine are; how did the women adapt to a healthier life after treatment, what are the women's perceived experiences of the aspects related to identity and identity work, and what external social influence was seen as important for their adjustment process to a healthier life?Methods: We have used computer-supported and semi-structured interviews. There were a total of nine women who took part in the study.                                                                                                                    Results: Majority of these women have been recovered from their eating disorders, but some still have major or minor problems. They found it rather difficult to adjust their life's without an eating disorder.Conclusions: Increased self-awarness led to greater control over the eating disorder. The women could begin to confer the new features that they identified with.

Detta innebär att det är av stor vikt att förstå hur man bygger, underhåller och utvecklar ett varumärke. Att jobba efter en strategi i varumärkesarbetet sägs av flera författare vara av stor vikt, då detta arbete måste ske långsiktigt och man måste veta vad man vill uppnå med sitt arbete. Även om identiteten anses viktig är även allmänheten och konsumenternas uppfattning, alltså imagen, av stor vikt.

Bakgrund: Hysterektomi definieras som avlägsnande av livmodern via kirurgi. Hysterektomi är en av de vanligaste gynekologiska operationerna. I Sverige utförs operationen på i genomsnitt 1 av 10 kvinnor. De vanligaste orsakerna till att utföra hysterektomi är cancer eller för att lindra långvariga sjukdomar som onormal uterin blödning eller bäckensmärta. Hysterektomi leder till att kvinnan förlorar sin fertilitet.Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att ha genomgått hysterektomi.Metod: I litteraturstudien har 10 kvalitativa empiriska studier granskats och analyserats med inspiration av metasyntes.

This is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The main purpose with this study is to examine the view of prostitution and sex trade among Social worker students at Malmö Högskola. Our research questions are; To which extension and consideration is the view of male and female prostitutes divided? Is the view of the male and female sex buyer different among the students? How do the students explain and understand male and female prostitution? How do the students explain and understand the male and female sex buyer? To collect data and to be able to find out the students views and thoughts about the phenomenon we used focus groups with four to six students in each group. To categorize the material we used four topics; explanation/understanding models, the individuals behind the phenomenon, love/sex and intimacy, and the society?s responsibility.

Rapportens tema är stereotyper, utseende och genus med ytterligare fokus på aspekterna karaktärsdesign, ansiktsdrag och personlighetsdrag. Stereotyper har här behandlats ur ett kognitionspsykologiskt perspektiv. Detta för att ge vinkel åt effektiv visuell kommunikation, en aspekt som ibland använder sig av just stereotyper, särskilt i moderna media. En undersökning genomfördes för att analysera hur intrycket av tecknade karaktärer kan påverkas av karaktärens könsidentitet och ansiktsdrag. Detta baseras på tidigare forskning där ansiktsdrag kan kategoriseras som maskulina respektive feminina, vilka skapar olika intryck av personlighetsdrag.

The works of crime fiction writer Edogawa Rampo are largely unknown in the West, but have had a considerable impact upon literature and popular culture in his home country of Japan. Rampo?s works are threading on the line between between distinctively Western and distinctively Japanese writing styles and thematic realms, embodying a cultural fusion which acts as a mirror of the societal and cultural changes that occured in the author?s contemporary Taish? era Japan. This thesis is an attempt to explore Rampo?s literary mindset, and more specifically to attempt to picture and describe Rampo?s self-image as an author of crime fiction active during this time period.

The purpose of this study was to examine creativity in psychosocial work. The aim issues where to find out how creativity develops in social work, why the relation is important for the innovativeness and how the creativeness can change a person. Through a qualitative method with interviews of four persons in psychosocial work and with one man who's a professor in philosophy, four relevant themes were identified. The themes are about the relation, the meeting, the dialog and the changing. All four themes are related to creativity and I used existential, philosophic and also psychoanalytic theories when I analyzed the material.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the attitudes towards the labour movement?s strategies, goals and organisational issues in Swedish Miners? Union?s (Gruvindustriarbetareförbundet, hereafter Gruv) paper, Gruvarbetaren 1917-1925.The theoretical starting point is Engels? view on the class state. This perspective turns the question of socialism and the way to get there into an issue of working class power over the state. Another theoretical perspective is the partition of the labour movement into a trade-unionistic branch, seeing unions as financial organisations of interest, and a pro-state one, considering unions as political organisations.During the period investigated Gruvarbetaren was quite radical and advocated a firm class struggle strategy towards employers. Since these were considered unreliable, class struggle was seen as the only way to better the conditions for the working class.
