I denna rapport beskrivs en metod för att kunna optimera den förväntade resultatet från en tur under en omgång av Yatzy. Yatzy är ett klassiskt tärningsspel som kan spelas ensam eller med flera spelare. Det finns sedan tidigare en matematiskt optimal strategi för hur man bäst bör gå tillväga för att optimera det förväntade slutresultatet från en omgång Yatzy, först beskriven av James Glenn för amerikanska regler och sedan applicerad på svenska regler av Markus Larsson och Andreas Sjöberg, som bygger på att bygga upp en graf över alla möjliga tillstånd under spelets gång. I denna rapport beskrivs en mer begränsad version av denna metod,som endast bygger upp en graf över de möjliga tillstånden för den nuvarande turen, med syfte att minska beräkningstid och minnesåtgång för att lagra grafen.Metoden har visat sig vara tillräckligt snabb för användning i begränsade miljöer såsom mobila plattformar, och den genomsnittliga slutpoängen efter ett färdigt spel har efter 10 000 simuleringar beräknats som ungefär 198,6 poäng, runt 50 poäng sämre än Larsson och Sjöbergs metod, och 175 poäng sämre än den högsta möjliga slutpoängen 374. Den är även 12 poäng sämre än en heuristisk beskriven av Nils Dahlbom Norgren och Philip Svensson, men metoden som beskrivs i denna rapport har fördelen att beslutsfattningsstrategierna är enklare att modifiera..

A newspaper study of Växjö city?s newspaper editorials regarding the conflicts of the Second World War in the Nordic countries?, Linnaeus University. A qualitative textual analysis delving into three local newspapers from Växjö city is in many ways the essence of this study. The main purpose of this study is to examine three key conflicts, the Winter War, Operation Weserübung and the Continuation War. Each conflict has been assessed in relation to the opinions advocated in the editorials of the three politically diverse newspapers.The theoretical basis for this study is founded on similar analysis made by Nybom, Johansson and Åmark who all have contributed to the content of this particular essay.

Linda Gustafsson: Att skriva om musik. En analys av folkmusikrecensioner. Uppsala: Musikvetenskap, 1998. This thesis is closely related to the Dynamically Self-Configuring Automotive System(DySCAS) project. DySCAS is a middleware for electronics in an automotive system. Thethesis work has been performed in cooperation with ENEA. Parts of the demonstrationplatform Self configurable High Availability and Policy based platform for Embeddedsystem (SHAPE) developed for the DySCAS project by ENEA have been used in theimplementation phase of this master thesis.The goal of this thesis was to evaluate how the Meteor MW, an offspring of the DySCASmiddleware, should handle QoS and to design a Quality of Service Manager (QoSM) for theMeteor MW that fulfilled hard real-time requirements. We decided to examine the accounts in Sweden and see if they have been more efficient, from a user perspective, after the introduction of IFRS in year 2005Method:  This paper is made from a quantitative and a deductive approach. We have collected data from all companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange between the years 2002-2008 using the computer program Financial Datastream and then made the regression and other analyses and comparisons with the program MinitabResult & Conclusions: We have in this paper demonstrated that how the accounting of goodwill designed is relevant to investors and that this relevance has increased in Sweden after the transition to IFRS. We have also concluded that the goodwill has greater relevance in a rising market than in a downward.Suggestions for future research: In future researches can the aim be to compare other accounting standards changes that occurred in the year 2005 and see if the accounting, from that perspective been more efficient.Contribution of the thesis: We have shown how the account influences investor?s decisions during different accounting systems and in particular how they react on the changed account of goodwill.

Resultat: Vi fann inga signifikanta resultat, ingen av de sex förklarande variablerna var signifikant till förvärv, samt vi fann ingen förklaringsgrad för operationell prestation till förvärv.
