Home care services have had, and will have a major imortance in the future. More people will be using home care services as a consequence of political strategies but also as an effect of caretakers own wishes. The purpose of this study was to illuminate the factors that are significant for a successful encounter between a caretaker and a caregiver. The study is made as a qualitative analysis of litterature. The data collection was based on Polit and Hungler's model of information retrieval and the data analysis on Graneheim and Lundman's model of analysis.

This master?s thesis looks at discourses that use the pronoun ?hen?. The media debate in Sweden over this pronoun in 2012 started in connection with the publishing of a children?s picture book: Kivi och monsterhund, by Jesper Lundqvist and Bettina Jansson. The essay investigates how eight librarians, who take an interest in and work with gender issues, talk about the pronoun hen and about this picture book and other books that have characters which are not named as a sex/gender.The essay takes a discursive perspective on reality and on the construction of knowledge and carries out a discourse analysis of the librarians? talk in the qualitative interviews that were made for this study.

This report describes the development of a sample loader for my diploma work at Q-linea AB in Uppsala. The sample loader will replace the process of loading fluid samples into Q-linea?s instrument for biomolecule analysis. The earlier process was done by hand and was a time consuming and inefficient task.The work was initiated with a design phase where an overview of the system was created. The sample loader will be receiving text commands from a PC that coordinates all the subsystems like pumps and lasers on the analysis instrument.

Denna rapport fokuserar enbart på beslutet ur ett energiförbrukningsperspektivoch vad skillnaderna blir i utsläpp av växthusgaser för ett mindre hyresradhusi Gävle om den renoveras eller rivs och ersätts av en ny byggnad. Eventuellaekonomiska och tekniska konsekvenser behandlas inte i denna rapport. Detta görsgenom att ta beräknade utsläpp av koldioxid och andra växthusgasers värde ikoldioxidekvivalenter för tillverkade byggnadsmaterial, uppvärmning,fastighetsel och nödvändiga transporter. Beräkningarna görs för etttidsperspektiv på 50 år.

All products will eventually end up as waste, which in a sustainable society has to be handled in an efficient and environment friendly way. This report focuses on waste fractions meant for combustion, often difficult to characterize. However, more homogeneous fractions that are treated biologically are also discussed.The study concerns the region of Borås, Sweden, where the waste plant Sobacken has provided a good starting point. On this site, fuel to the Energy-from-Waste plant of Borås Energi is prepared and the biological waste is treated through anaerobic digestion.One important part of the study has been to collect experience-based knowledge from the technical staff at Sobacken and Borås Energi. This information was compiled into an overview of wanted and unwanted fractions to the preparation plant and the boilers respectively.

        This is a report that describes the entire process of design of a measuring station for rolling resistance. The report is structured with elements of Fredy Olsson's method.The report also includes a brief presentation of HGF, the company that will manufacture the machine. Requirements and preferences are set up and used in a weighting of criteria by which product suggestions are based. These suggestions are used in the evaluation to produce a final draft product. Solutions to major functions are produced by criteria?s. Component selection for all components is performed, a CAD-based model is developed and an economic analysis is set up. FMEA analysis is set up. The report ends with a brief summary, critical review and suggestions for further work..

The purpose of this study is to present arguments concerning a zestful learning for children ages 6-9 in mathematics. Four books in mathematics has specifically been analyzed to investigate what is written concerning a zestful learning. By means of an argumentation analysis within a qualitative text analysis the arguments are put forth. The didactic choices of the chosen literature are analyzed in a subject-matter didactic context. The result implicates a multitude of arguments and didactic choices supporting a zestful learning.

Informationsteknik (IT) är en marknad som förändras snabbt. Att investera i IT kan därför vara kritiskt. Att ha en strategi för hur satsningar på IT ska göras kan minska risken för felinvesteringar på IT men strategin kan även ge andra fördelar. Att ha en IT-strategi innebär dock inte automatiskt att den ger fördelar. IT-strategin bör även användas.

Denna rapport handlar om projektgruppens samlade erfarenheter om hur det är att arbetamed ett större mjukvaruprojekt. Fokus för detta ligger på erfarenheter inom gruppdynamikoch kundinteraktion. Rapporten lyfter även fram hur användandet av Essence Kernel Alpha:spåverkade gruppens arbete. Rapporten försöker också undersöka och ge förslag påfinansieringsmodeller för projekt med öppen källkod. Det som iakttogs var att planering ochöppen kommunikation i stor del påverkar ett projekts utveckling.

In recent years there has been an upsurge in products and activities designed for infants, what is known as baby culture. The essay is a discourse analysis covering the part of baby culture which is concerned with infants and books. The essay studies texts from libraries and children?s bookclubs in order to understand what it is they communicate, to whom and the conceivable consequences of the communicated message. One of the main purposes of the study is to determine what view of infants as social and cultural beings it  is that arises from the texts.

Att undersöka huruvida det är möjligt att underlätta framställningen av ett elektroniskt handelssystem som använder sig av en existerande relationsdatabas är intressant av flera anledningar. Med Internets utveckling har möjligheterna till elektronisk handel ökat. Många företag har idag redan existerande databaser till sin verksamhet. Ändringar eller driftstopp i dessa databaser medför stora problem för företagen.Denna rapport beskriver en prototyp som underlättar användandet av en existerande databas och som underlättar skapandet av de komponenter som ingår i ett enkelt elektroniskt handelssystem. För att skapa prototypen har en hybrid mellan en templatbaserad och en hårdkodad lösning använts.

This thesis studies the subject on how disabilities are written about in Swedish politics, the programs of the seven parties in the parliament are studied. The thesis is divided into two parts; where the first part is a content analysis to see how often disability are mention in each programme. It differs between one (the Left Party) and 33 times (the Christian Democrates). This first part also works as a backround to the second part of the study. This part of the thesis is built upon a discourse analysis.

The purpose of this thesis in Library and Information Science (LIS) is to examine concepts related to multiculturalism in Sweden. It aims to look beyond the rhetorical construction of these concepts, in an attempt to clarify the actual purpose of commonly emphasizing the importance of mulicultural library services. Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (CDA) as well as theories on ethnicity and intersectionality constitute the theoretical frame. The material consists of selected anthologies, handbooks and articles in Biblioteksbladet from 1974?2014, as well as a small case study.

Skanska anser att det förekommer för många olyckor och tillbud på svenska byggarbetsplatser. I denna rapport har vi studerat vad som kan förbättras med enkla metoder gällande arbetsmiljö och säkerhet på byggarbetsplatser. Först och främst har vi tagit del av statistik över olyckor under de senaste åren för att skapa oss en uppfattning om vad som orsakar olyckor. Denna information kommer från Skanskas intranät, arbetsmiljöverkets rapporter samt intervjuer med personer med detaljkunskaper inom ämnet. Eftersom vi gjort detta examensarbete för Skanskas avdelning Hus valde vi att avgränsa oss från övriga arbetsområden.
