Students at Jönköping School of Engineering were given an assignment from Jönköping municipality, to evaluate their decision support system, QlikView. The students have also developed proposals for improvement with focus on usability.The Jönköpings municipality has currently got 11000 employees and consists of nine different administrations. The target group for QlikView is approximately 600 first-line managers.The intention of QlikView is that the users can get an overall picture of their business by having all information in just one system.The purpose of the thesis is to obtain a picture of what the users think about the system today and present relevant suggestions for improvement, which the Jönköping municipality can use when the introduction of the new version of QlikView takes place. The research questions that the study aims to answer are:? Has QlikView got a user friendly interface?? How can the interface be improved to become more user friendly?Theories that this work is based on is Jacob Nielsens ten usability principles and Ben Schneidermans eight golden rules.

In the EU there are EC Directives that Member States of EU should follow. Sweden has undertaken to transpose EC Directives regarding the working environment to Swedish Provisions.  In 4 April 2006, the European Commission had some criticism against the Swedish implementation of the Construction Sites Directive. The Swedish Work Environment Authority has in response to this criticism reworked the Work Environment Act and related provision about building and civil engineering work. The changes came into force 1 January 2009.These changes have resulted in some working methods and even new responsibility subjects must be reviewed. The purpose of this exam project was to investigate if contractors and clients in the construction sector, had have time to update themselves on this front and adapt to these changes.

The purpose of this assignment at SSAB Tunnplåt in Borlänge was mainly to investigate and describe the circumstances for the spare parts stored in storage facilities within the area of operation. Even new facilities which could serve as storage rooms and their opportunities for storing spare parts were an important part of the investigation. This because of the need for improved storing of spare parts. Furthermore, market offers where reviewed for storage of spare parts in more tailored designs. To counteract the experience, there is a possibility to integrate internal audit with improvements in company?s processes. Theory has shown that a qualified and competent auditor can provide information that can help the organization's managements to make the right decisions that will improve product quality and result in new customer contracts.An opportunity to observe an internal and external audit at one of the case companies gave rise to this study.

Vård på plats eller hänvisning av patienten med annat transportsätt inom ett specifikt sjukvårdsområde : en granskning av förekomsten av uppdrag där patienten inte åker med ambulans till vårdinrättning

SAMMANFATTNINGAmbulanssjukvårdens utveckling gällande medicinsk teknik och medicinsk kompetens har skapat möjlighet för ambulanssjuksköterskan att kunna vårda patienterna på en mycket avancerad nivå. Samtidigt har möjlighet skapats att triagera, prioritera och styra patienterna mot rätt vårdinstans till skillnad från tidigare då alla ambulansuppdrag resulterade i ett besök på en akutmottagning. Detta är en möjlighet som hanteras olika beroende på var i Sverige ambulanssjuksköterskan arbetar.Syftet med studien var att belysa vård på plats i samband med ambulansuppdrag inom ett specifikt sjukvårdsområde.Studien utgick från en kvantitativ ansats och var en journalstudie där ambulansjournaler granskades.Resultatet visar att det finns månadsfluktuationer över ett helårsperspektiv men att dessa är små och svårtolkade. Störst skillnad är det mellan november, 15,3 procent (n=489) och maj 11,6 procent (n=386). När dygnsfördelningen av eftersökta uppdrag analyserades framkom det att natten (22.00?05.00) är den tid då de flesta uppdragen relativt sett resulterar i att patienten inte transporteras vidare med ambulans.
